The flat is quite nice but in desperate need of TLC. There are cracks in the kitchen walls, some walls have scuff marks and need to be wiped and/or painted. The main bedroom window frame looks quite bad in places with the glass and frame dirty, including the double glazing. The kitchen chair cushions are heavily stained, and the cutlery, because they are part wood, should be replaced. In the living room. the wooden chair is broken and probably unsafe to use, and the carpet is moth eaten in some areas. The bedrooms need proper curtains, and the wooden blinds in the living room and kitchen should be replaced as some slats are broken. Other reviews have already commented on the lumpy bed mattress and sofa. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom flat but the one with an en suite had a handwritten note taped to the the door saying ‘Out of order’. When I emailed the agent thinking a previous occupant had left it, they said ‘We don’t advertise the property as having an en suite and people keep opening the door’! So they knew but this detail wasn't shown on the booking information. There was scaffolding covering the back of the building as when I was there the outer window frames were being painted. None of this was relayed to me by Henry Adams (who when I told them claimed not to know). It might have made a difference to my booking the flat as none of the back windows could be opened during the day. So, during the hottest days of 2025 it was unbearable inside and I had to buy a fan. It is also worth noting that I could only open the kitchen windows anyway! The electronice gates to the car park were not working so the neighbours kept the gate opened which blocked my allocated space. (They found me another one to use.) For anyone who stays here, note that if anyone parks in the space next to your allocated one, it will be difficult to get an average sized car in as you have to park along a wall and the space is narrow. On the plus side, the flat is well positioned on the main road in Midhurst and the neighbours are extremley kind and helpful. I booked via the Henry Adams Holiday Cottages website which in my opinion displays out of date images and guest reviews. I arrived to a call from one of their agents saying that the key box wasn't working so I would have to collect the key from either the cleaner or the office. Then, when I found two sets of master keys in the flat and called them, I was asked to drop them into their office where, when I arrived, the staff had no idea who I was as they were 'sales and not holiday lets' so not interested. I didn't even get a call or email from the letting side to acknowledge receipt. Overall, I found Henry Adams rude and dismissive.

Great property in the heart of the area. Only fault in the house is in the master bedroom the incredibly loud water system goes off at random points in the night. The check in instructions were also not super clear. Also worth mentioning that for the allocated car space, I had a golf and it was a tight squeeze, with the gate opening across the space I think would struggle to fit in anything longer that that. All things are suggestions from a guest but the actual property area/space/cleanliness were all fantastic. Thank you.

Great location, very nice neighbours. Flat was well equipped and very comfortable although several lights in living room and bedroom didn't work. The instructions on arrival paperwork for gate opening were not clear, neighbours were very helpful and said it happens a lot with flat 4 visitors.. No direct access to building, have to haul luggage along a side street. The lack of WiFi was very disappointing and scored a low mark for value for money.
