My sister and I really enjoyed our stay here! The property is very nice. We really enjoyed how nice the tents were, as well as the pool, restaurant, and bar areas. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great. One thing to note is if it is very windy, the tents will shake in the wind. A front came through on our second night with ~40 kph winds, so the tent was shaking most of the night.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded at no extra charge which was a lovely surprise. The tent was well equipped and very clean. Pool towels were provided and the toiletries were great. Lots of quokkas ❤️ The only disappointment was the pool - it looked lovely but was absolutely freezing.

Absolutely loved my stay! Exceptional staff, top-notch facilities, eco-friendly luxury, and a breathtaking beachfront location at Pinky's Beach. The buffet breakfast was a highlight. A truly fantastic experience with a relaxed vibe.

We enjoyed our stay however unsure if we would book this accommodation again. The room was nice but incredibly hot and took a really long time to cool down. Reception staff were wonderful however the restaurant staff were not. No attention to detail, dining room was very dirty and the food was very very average. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast however kids are not supervised which caused a huge problem with the coffee machine and burning toast. The pool is nice however no checks are done to ensure the general public are not using this area. You can tell most people are using this pool and are not staying at the hotel. No staff around to ensure children and teenagers are doing the right thing - which they are not and all drinks are served in glass which is a rule of the pool. All the day beds are taken by people not staying at the hotel. After the price we paid we expected the food to be better and the staff to be more attentive.

Amazing stay at discovery resort..the bar and pool area is excellent and so relaxed...cant wait to visit again

ロットネスト島は、とにかく海がキレイで海に入らない観光客もいますが、入る事を強くお勧めします。このホテルでは、目の前にとてもきれいなビーチがあって楽しめ、ビーチに繋がっているホテルへの階段を上ると、プールも楽しめます。つまりビーチで砂まみれになって海水で泳いでも、プールでキレイになってから部屋に戻れるという素晴らしい作りで、めちゃくちゃ過ごしやすい。 朝食のビュッフェもおいしく、クロワッサンも満足度の高い味でした！受付も丁寧で優しいです。 テント型の滞在場所なので、風でテントが揺れる時の音がするので、テントで寝るのが絶対無理って人以外はめちゃくちゃオススメ。 テントと言っても、中に二段ベットがあってシャワーもトイレも中にあるから、壁だけがテントっぽいだけでめっちゃいい感じです！

Nice spot at top of Island about a 900m walk from Ferry. Organise a bag pickup to save yourself moving luggage. Check in was a hassle as after walking to resort with baggage they said they would notify us when our tent/ room was ready (as we arrived early on boat) but failed to do so so we did not check in until 4pm. Great facilities and the beach at resort is magic

Amazing location and superb facilities. Right on the beach, so comfortable and spacious. Could not have asked for better. My only disappointment was that my stay was for only one night!

Walking distance to 2 beaches which is a plus if you don't want to explore the island but still want access to beach. Pool area is small but sufficient, bar food very nice. Breakfast included was good enough.

いわゆるグランピング施設。コンロはないが、電子レンジや冷蔵庫、電気ポットは完備。水回り（台所、トイレ、シャワー）はキレイで安心できた。 初日は日中39℃まで上がったため、エアコンがないことを不安に思っていたが、夜は気温も下がりシーリングファンのおかげで涼しく過ごせました。また、真隣にキャンプ場があり、学生の団体がいましたが、島としてクワイエットタイムを設けているようで、夜間に騒ぐなどはありませんでした。 テントの周りにはクオッカも集まってくるし、島を満喫するには良き滞在となりました。 プールは、カモメやツバメの水飲み場になっており、あまり清潔ではなかったですかね…

Great place to stay and very convenance location to the breaches. Clean Room and nice staff

Excellent accommodation and facilities. Only downside would be towels smelt like they had been washed with the kitchen towels

room spotless, staff helpful, a happy ambience Zip/unzip every entry/exit from tent was a pain. Zips left many cuts on my arms. Many many times quokkas broke into tent, even though zips were all done up. A communal bbq would be nice.

This is probably the nearest place I’ve ever stayed! The “tents” are so cool! They are spotlessly clean, great beds and linens, lovely bathroom and perfect little kitchenette. Staff were amazing, responsive and efficient! Loved our whole experience here!

Comfortable bed, big tent, very clean. Nice area close to beautiful beach. Grounds well kept and decently treed for coolness.

We have stayed at Discovery Rottnest many times now. We love the Eco resort vibe and being right on the beach. Simply amazing. The rooms are becoming quite worn now and need attention but with issues that we had the staff were very helpful. Always love our time here.

We had excessive mildew and mould on our bathroom ceiling and walls. Our padlock had a sticker with room number which was not our room number… which gave us some concerns to security. We were moved to another tent promptly and provided some meal vouchers, which they did handle well. However our new tent had broken bathroom light so couldn’t see in the shower or on toilet. We also had cockroaches in the bathroom. As we were spending the days on a boat, we returned late one evening to find our lock changed and we could not get into our room. Had to wait about 15 mins for someone to bring bolt cutters to remove lock so we could get in. The breakfast was buffet style and we found the hot food to be cold every day, so ended up just having toast and fruit. Coffee was from a machine, recommend just buying coffee instead.

The shower plug needs cleaning out. The shower floor was wet with the shower water out to the towel rail. I had to take off the shower plug in the floor, and it was bunged up with hair. I wiped the water up with the bath mat and a towel and found the floor hadn't been cleaned as both had dirt marks on them. Other than this, everything was great.

Room was clean, nice position, promised fruit platter never arrived, which was a shame. No ac was hard to deal with. It was incredibly hot on the days we visited though. 35C.

Amazing view and spacious room for the deluxe oceanside tent. Nice kitchenette too. Complementary buffet breakfast at Pinky’s also great. Would be better if bathrobe and slippers were provided as well.

We stayed in a family tent and loved it. The tent was complete with a fan and a heater, as well as a little kitchenette and bathroom. We had minor concerns that it would be noisy, but we did not hear any foot traffic or other guests throughout the night. The first night it poured with heavy rain and the tent held up, keeping us dry and cosy throughout the night while allowing us to enjoy the sound of the rain on the canvas. With a decadent full buffet breakfast included, our glamping experience was highly enjoyable and memorable.

The tent was great. The bed was comfortable. The tent area was quiet. We did not enjoy the constant loud music up at the dining and pool area. It seemed there was no quiet lounge area except for the tent.

Place was great 1st time glamping we had a young child in the room beside us so there wasn’t much sleep as the walls are canvas then an evacuation alarm in the middle of the night a bit of excitement but over all enjoyed my stay

Liked: convenience, the idea of glamping. Didn't like: Lack of privacy if you want deck access open, no living area, staring into someone elses tent from deck, tents get very warm, over priced compared to other options.

８月下旬に宿泊しました。 夜はかなり寒くなりますが、エアコンはありません。とても小さなオイルヒーターのみです。 レセプションにも相談しましたが、家族四人で毛布一枚、借りられたぢけ。 寒さのあまり、よく眠れませんでした。 冬にはお勧めできない施設です。

Superior tent had plenty of space. Bit cold at night for me but I was ok with blankets and the heater. Resort is on Pinky's beach which is a great spot. Pool area was small and generally empty. The seagulls were the only ones in the pool though! Overall, we loved Rottnest Island and Discovery was a good place to explore it from; it just felt v expensive for what it was. Very noisy, it being tents. Families with small kids are going to make a lot of noise, obviously. It usually stopped eatly but could start up in the middle of the night. Ear plugs are provided. We were on the outside of the park. It felt a bit vulnerable to people going past on the road outside. I wasn't too happy about leaving my luggage outside the tent where anybody could grab it. We handed it directly to the luggage team when they went past.

Mould in bathroom. Toilet wasn’t flushing and noisy ineffective extraction fan. Noisy neighbours no roaming security to reinforce rules. Rude and unhelpful checkin experience. It was overall ok but could be better.

Beautiful unique resort. Convenient to the bar and restaurant. 10 - 15 mins walk to the ferry terminal. Friendly staff. Managed to check in early Buffet breakfast was very nice Recommended

Friendly and helpful staff

This was a great location and the breakfast was the best I’ve seen in any Australian hotel. The location is great, on the beach and close to the ferries. The staff was super helpful and the bed was very comfy. I highly recommend paying the ferry company to transfer your bags from the ferry to the hotel, the cost is nominal and it saves you having to lug them from the ferry or figure out what to do with them on your first/last day.

Wonderful quiet location on the beach, food was beautiful, staff were friendly and super helpful. My dad struggled with mobility so given a lift to town and ferry on two occasions. Glamping tents were comfortable, clean and certainly a unique experience

We received an upgrade from a standard tent, which gave us a kitchenette on top of the quality ensuite. Resort was well equipped, and we loved the breakfast provided.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the resort but if the 4 points below were addressed I’m sure all guests stays would be improved. 1. Provision of a gym even if it was a small indoor area with a few pieces of workout apparatus 2. A dedicated, off to side clearly signposted smoking area where non-smokers are less exposed. Smokers were instructed to smoke at the entrance to a main beach access point adjacent to the bar & dining areas. This path & stairway was frequented by many families with small children. Smoking Allowed wasn’t sign posted, there was no butt bucket of any description and many dumped butts on the dune underneath the landing where smoking took place, which is not an eco friendly practice 3. It would have been great if check in procedures had been followed, there was more than a 50minute delay, we did receive an apology but considering I was 5 metres away (pre-checkin had been done, mobile & email details known), communication could have been better 4. Our buggy driver to the airport got lost, must have been embarrassed as at first he denied being lost when questioned, lucky we didn’t miss our flight hm, though we were late. Perhaps the resort buggies could be equiped with clear instructions or a laminated map displaying what’s where and colour coded directions with arrows displaying how to get there. I believe guests would also appreciate this being available & the resort be more efficient & pro active for their staff navigating the island & assisting guests Cathy

Great location by a lovely beach. Good restaurant, and an excellent breakfast included in the price. Nice products in the bathroom

We were so impressed with our supreme tent, it was so much better than the images conveyed. Gorgeous accommodation, and so comfortable. The location is amazing and pinky’s beach is so picturesque. Just beautiful- the best place to stay on Rottnest Island.

We stayed for two night and had a great time. Lovely resort and staff. Great location and easy to walk to the main area. Lovely beach and sunset. Thank you!

If you want to glamp, have quokkas at your back door, have two incredible beaches within 5 min walk, and experience Hawaii level sunsets, this is the place. It is a bit of a walk to the village, but who cares. Worth it!

Great location, short walk to the town centre. Cabins were clean and looked new.

The Discovery Rottnest Island is an amazing resort, within easy walk of the main jetty. It is also close to shopping and eating areas. The tents are roomy and have everything you need. They are modern and clean and the mattress on the king bed, was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. It is an easy walk to the beach and the buffet breakfast was delicious and lots of variety.

Discovery park was fantastice, the service at the front desk was Excellant, the lady with round spectacles was incredible, we got upgraded without a charge.Rooms have lovely decor. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices. Pinky was an epic fail though. The food is terrible, we had the fish which was cooked straight from frozen, just yuk. French guy at pinky was very helpful. The beach at the resort is sensational, snorkling was awesome.

Resorten är ganska stor men ger ändå en personlig känsla, så trevlig personal! Vi bodde i ett fantastiskt tält för fyra personer, gott om plats och mycket bekvämt. Gångavstånd ”ner till byn”. Vi åt på resortens restaurang på kvällen, en mycket bra salladsbuffé men den grillade fisken blev vi besvikna på tyvärr. Fin frukostbuffé.

Very clean and awsome place to stay, suprisingly pretty private rooms. Love the brekkie included and was alot of choice.

I liked that we were at Pinky’s Beach, the guy playing singing was excellent. Drinks at bar was good, but service was poor, took so long to order and receive drinks and having to go up to enquire a few times saying that the order receipt was not passed to the maker?? Weird? Staff at the food ordering station not friendly. Other than that accommodation was good and will return.

The property was great with access to the beach. Our tent was very clean and well maintained. Great bed linen and towels (bath and beach) were very good. The breakfast included in our tariff was excellent, sadly I can’t say the same for the other meal we had which was disappointing. On an island location you would hope that the seafood would be good, but not in our experience. We shared a calamari and for the price you’d expect it to be good, not hard rubbery and tasteless. We would have ordered another main to share but decided not to after the calamari experience.

The tents were well kept and clean, however they can be noisy when it’s windy. The restaurant offers good food and drinks, but the seagulls harass customers for their food so watch your back!

Great location, fantastic room, the most comfortable bed, every room amenity you’d need, delicious food! I’d happily return!

Very nice unique experience. 2 night stay. The main restaurant wasn’t available for dinner 1st night due to a function. Great variety with included breakfast though. Noise carries at night which might be a bit annoying for light sleepers. Ear plugs are provided. Staff are lovely. Would stay again.
