The building was the JC Penney store when I was young - I told people I dreamed about buying clothes all night. :-) The room was never serviced in any way during my four night stay, no cleaning, no changed towels, nothing. The bathroom could benefit if a towel rack were installed.

Extremely clean! We stayed here during the Sturgis Mustang Rally. I thougt it would be so noisy that I took my noise canceling headphones. I didnt meed them at all. It was so quiet! The beds are very comfortable. There's a cute little coffee shop on the lobby!

In town first full weekend of December and it was decorated like a Hallmark movie - adorable coffee shop in the lobby with delicious coffee. We had a balcony which had a beautiful view to the town square that was decorated for the tree lighting. Room was great with the loft area - perfect for a family. Room was extremely clean.

The booking photos are confusing. I was under the impression my room was on the second level, with atleast one queen bed. This was not the case, we received a full bed with two twin separate beds. The bed was not comfortable at all. The ac did not work well in the room so it was hot. The coffee shop in the front of the lobby was good and the staff seemed friendly. The town shuts down around 6pm except a few restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sturgis. It’s a great location with a lot happening close by but the room was quiet and comfortable. It was perfect even though we didn’t need the loft area it was nice to take advantage of the spacious feel the high ceiling creates.

I loved how clean our room was! Nice clean shower and bathroom, beds and overall appearance! Much appreciated! Didnt like that walls are very thin and you can hear neighbors just taking and annoying after they came in after a fun night out. Earplugs were a must for our second night.

The Hotel itself is incredibly cool. The coffee shop was great. I was given a call the evening of check in to let me know that the front desk closed at 9p. I was told to go to the bar across the street to get my keycard. I stood at the bar for over 10 minutes waiting for the bartender to stop talking casually to people and ask me what I needed. It was loud, smoky and not busy at all. But I was not addressed. They should have known I was coming if this the standard process.

Loved the structure, quiet. Clean, smelt good. Nice front desk/coffee shop area. Pretty good experience. The only thing I would say is I left $90 of health products in the fridge accidentally. We had to rush back home and with kids (including infant) things can slip your mind when I called the hotel to ask about them our room had not been cleaned BUT those products were missing. The front desk was very kind and attentive but just find it very odd for our room to not be cleaned but the 2 things I left behind were missing. Otherwise, great experience. Do a quadruple check so you don’t forget your things and everything should be fine.

What a great hotel to stay at. Staff is awesome! There’s a coffee shop to get a good cup of coffee or Italian Soda! The room was great and very comfortable. The bathroom was up to date and even though it was on the small size it was modern and didn’t feel small. Overall, great place to stay!

This is an absolutely charming hotel. Check in front is literally a fabulous espresso shop and the rooms are fantastic conversions of an old building with a cool brick/modern vibe and 20' ceilings with lofts. It's in the heart of town, Highly recommend. Note.. many rooms won't have a window because of the old building abutting the neighbor building. But the rooms are fantastic.
