Baymond Hotel

Positives-very clean, great location, helpful friendly reception staff. Negatives-the pool sunbeds do not look like the pictures, no cushions and very uncomfortable, the pool closes every day at 12 noon till 1.30 pm you cant drink a starbucks coffee in reception or on the rooftop, you have to take it to your room.

Lovely hotel, great location, nice pool, only annoyance was no Wifi or toilet at the pool area.

Overall we had a good stay. The hotel is on the cozier side, not a big hotel. It was clean. The highlight is definitely the pool, our kids enjoyed it a lot. The rooftop pool was comfortable with food and drink options available on site. Only thing is no restroom at the pool. We had to go to our room. But it wasn’t a big deal as the hotel isn’t too busy so waiting on the elevators never took too long. Convenient location to restaurants and light shopping.

Since tge photos were taken on expedia they have built another office block about 1 metre behind. This means the standard rooms now have an opaque film on windows & v little natural light. We spoke with the reception who were v helpful & agree an upgrade reduced price to the city view front rooms. These are lovely- much bigger & have amazing vathrooms. The hotel explained they are trying to update photo's & info with all booking sites but have struggled. The hotel has a beautiful pool. Breakfast us extra but v nice & offer at weekends. So great hotel on Haeundae beach- 5 min walk to metro, main street & night markets. Highly recomned booking the city or sea view rooms for size & natural light. Thank you to staff for their help during our stay.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in 2ter Reihe zum Strand. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, modern eingerichtet mit einem tollen Badezimmer und Blick auf‘s Meer. Das Hotel bietet einen Rooftop-Pool und kostenfreie Parkplätze. Viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Was wir allerdings sehr schade fanden war, dass wir uns an unserem Abreisetag nach dem Check Out (nach 6 Nächten im Hotel) nicht mehr an den Pool setzen durften, um die Zeit zum Abflug zu Überbrücken. Da hätten wir uns ein Entgegenkommen gewünscht.

Hotel was old and outdated, staff were friendly and check in was fast. Bed and walls had stains and shower was molded on the floor.

Cannot recommend! Positives: Rooftop pool has a great view, and it’s a nice place to spend time relaxing. The bed was comfortable. It’s very close to the beach. Negatives: Staff were noticeably unfriendly (exception floor 3). Our room was very dark. Thinking we’d be staying close to the beach, we did not book an ocean view room, not knowing that this would mean having a window that is frosted, essentially making the room windowless and 100% lacking in natural light. We could not flush toilet paper. The large bathroom, consisting of a sink area, a toilet room and a shower room had a total of three tiny pot lights. It was so dark that that we called maintenance thinking we had to be missing something—nope! Could not use the bathroom mirror to prepare for the day as it was far too dark, and without a window, there was no good light in the main room area either. I had to position a floor lamp behind my head or open the window the four inch crack it allowed and stand on a ledge with a hand mirror to do my makeup. Even with that much darkness, it was evident that the room needed a very good scrub. The bathroom floor, walls and shower were dirty. When I dropped a black bag on floor in the main room it came up dusty. Prepare to pay for any and all extras. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that did not provide complimentary coffee, not even a packet of instant! Could go on, but out of characters. It put a damper on our days in Busan.

I had a wonderful stay here during my trip to Busan. Location is very convenient in Haeundae which is walkable to the beach, restaurants, stores, and the traditional street market. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and hot shower. The staff was very friendly, great with international travelers, and helped me book a large taxi at checkout. Highly recommended place to stay!

Nice helpful staff. Great bathroom and rain shower. We had extra guests—- small black bugs that were seen coming out of tv wall when you turned on the light. Otherwise close to beach and near a Starbucks reserve. It is walkable to many stores and restaurants.

Clean best sleep ever

The bathtub was wonderful. The view was fantastic. The service was excellent. I think the bed was a little lumpy, maybe needs to be upgraded, but overall the room was comfortable and cleaning was excellent. The shower was excellent. Some construction around the property but still quiet in the room and walking distance to main street of Haeundae & all transport options. A wonderful stay!

Nice hotel very close to the beach. However room temperature and temperature in the hallways were hot with the hot summer weather. Rooms on the back side of the building do not have windows that you can see out with the proximity to the next building. Roof top pool is excellent.

We loved the Baymond. Had an upper floor king - ocean view room. Room was awesome. Huge bath tub. Rooftop pool and hot tub was amazing! Staff wonderful. Highly recommend.

Lovely room with sea view -great location .Arrived to find the room was far too hot with air con not working ,when this was raised with reception told that the air con was not switched on until summer and provided with a fan which did nothing to cool the room .The hotel is advertised as having air con and should therefore be available based on the room temperatures not on the season .We used room service which was good ,the hotel restaurant menu was exactly the same and would recommend eating out if you want a more special meal ,there are a lot of good restaurants close by .Hotel was stylish and spotlessly clean .Staff helpful and polite .Would recommend making full use of the lovely roof top pool /hot tub and sauna .

Enjoyed my stay at the Baymond Hotel. Location was great, super close to the beach. I didn’t stay in an ocean view room and my window was frosted glass - so maybe worth considering when selecting a room. I personally didn’t mind because I wasn’t in the room too much. The rooftop pool area was a fantastic facility to have! The pool is heated and perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing. It’s walkable to shops, cafes and restaurants although in the immediate street or two outside the hotel the options are limited. However, 5-10 minutes walk and you’re spoilt for choice with food options. The deposit system operated by the hotel is unusual. Usually hotels just take your card details at check in. The Baymond actually deducts their deposit of 50,000 won on check in. This is then refunded at check out. For some reason my card didn’t accept the refund at check out so the hotel had to call the credit card company. It took about 4 days for me to receive the refund.

Great staff, loved my room and they were very welcoming. Definitely made my experience one worth the visit. And the rooftop pool being heated made it perfect for the night time thou it was cold outside. I would definitely stay here again

Although we only stayed for 1 night purely to sleep - the stay was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff at check in were warm. The location was also central. Thank you!

Pros: room is comfortable and clean, rooftop pool is awesome, location is walking distance to beach and public transportation Cons: Unfriendly service, not helpful. They could easily replace the check in desk with a machine. Rooms have water damage on the walls. Elevator to rooftop broke down everyday which required using the stairs that were strewn with dirty towels and housekeeping carts/equipment. Cabana rental included 2 glasses of wine that ended up being spoiled wine. When we asked for something else, they required payment. To “make up” for having to pay for complimentary wine, they gave us ONE additional glass of wine. To split between us I guess? Overall recommendation: the price is not worth it. But if you need a place that’s a nice place to sleep with a nice pool and no other options, it’ll do. Don’t have any expectations about the service they will offer.

In the taxi, the driver didn't speak English and couldn't understand our destination. I emailed the hotel asking for directions in Korean for the driver, and they replied within two minutes—amazing service! As we arrived at the hotel, we got upgraded to a better room without asking. The hotel staff were amazing, polite and professional. The room was fantastic with sea view, spacious bed and big bathroom with two sinks. Great location near Haeundae Beach, and a traditional market, as well as many other attractions. The rooftop pool is open the whole year (can vary depending on weather conditions). It was great! With both the pool, jacuzzi and a steam room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We order food by the pool, which was great. The room service was amazing! Food was delicious and well made, and when I called the front desk to ask about what to do with the leftovers etc (as we didn't want to have it in the room during the night, but it was already quite late) they were so nice and told us to place it outside the room and they picked it up. We ordered room service multiple times, as it was great! At reception, we asked for help ordering taxis to explore Busan, and they were very accommodating, arranging them right outside the hotel. They even offered us an umbrella when they noticed it was going to rain, which was really thoughtful! We had an absolutely fantastic stay! If I had known how wonderful it would be, I would have booked a longer visit!

Just back from South Korea, and a stay at the Baymond hotel, the hotel was clean & we were really pleased with our choice of hotel, staff were friendly although english could prove a barrier occasionally but google translator geloed. The hotel was in a perfect location, we were close enough to the town but far enough away that it didn't disturb us and the beach a short walk from us too.

The property is clean. Rooms are good. Bed and bathroom excellent. It is only 5 minutes walk to lovely part of the beach and the market. Lots of shopping around from convenience stores to McDonalds and local restaurants and cafes. Friendly staff. Minutes from subway. Would stay there again!

The room was updated and had a great view of Haeundae beach. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and Gunamro square.

A Great modern hotel a very short walk from both the beach and the vibrant centre. The rooms very modern and well equipped. We loved it.

Great little budget hotel about a block from the beach and the touristy street. Small rooms but comfy. Greta views from the heated rooftop pool. Staff were very nice, breakfast was great. They have a buy but one get one free offer for the entire month of May.

Baymond is an excellent hotel with beautiful rooms facing the ocean, a gorgeous pool and hot tub and I especially appreciated the sauna. The food options at the hotel are lacking a bit but overall I highly recommend this property.

처음에 객실 키 착오가 있어서 몇 번 프런트에 왔다 갔다 해야했지만, 전반적으로 깔끔하고 숙소도 넘 좋았음. 조식프로모션으로 먹을 수 있었는데, 전복죽이 참 맛있었음. 평일은 식사를 가져다 주시고, 주말은 뷔페식으로 가져다 먹는 것 같았음. 둘 다 깔끔하고 매력 있었음. 물론 수영장은 온수풀, 사우나 있어서 추워도 왔다갔다 하기 좋았음.. 수영장쪽에 화장실 없으니 객실이용 해야함.

When we first arrived it was 1:30 pm in the afternoon. We were not greeted with a hello but a check in isn’t until 3:00 pm. When I asked the front desk for a suggestion for lunch I was told everything was closed and nothing was opened till dinner. Imagine our surprise when we were walking a very short distance from the hotel to see there were several things open to eat. When we came back we were given a room that smelled like someone had been smoking. We asked for another room and we’re treated horribly!! We prepaid for breakfast which was a mistake. We showed up only once and we’re treated poorly. It was so bad and service was so rude we didn’t return. The rooms were nice is all I can say nice about this place. I will not be back and I will not be recommending it to anyone I know EVER!

Amazing hotel in a great location. The hotel feels brand new with great rooms done beautifully by a good interior designer for sure. The roof top and pool is soo nice with amazing views of the bay. We had dinner by the pool. The pool attendant guy could speak English and helped us chose a nice dinner option. Everything about this hotel was great. Definitely will stay there again on my next trip to Busan. Highly recommended

Room was spotless and for the price it was probably one of the best rooms I've ever been. The staff were very nice and overall a very pleasant experience. I just wish the breakfast buffet ran through the week.

넘 훌륭한 숙소였어요. 서비스도 좋았고 루프탑 수영장이 특히 좋았고, 룸서비스도 괜찮았어요. 오션뷰인데 앞 건물로 반은 가려졌지만 나쁘지 않았어요
