5 Coastguard Cottages - Situé au cœur du centre-ville d'Aldeburgh

The property was very convenient for our stay as it was in the town centre. The kitchen facilities were good and the beds were comfortable. It felt a bit 'tired' in terms of décor (scuffed skirting boards, old paintwork etc) and we were a bit concerned about the very old electric points and switches (some of which did not work). In the living room, there were a number of appliances plugged into extension leads which were unsightly and trailing (and possibly dangerous) Most annoying was that the lack of a shower facility in the bathroom despite the description saying that it had a shower attachment. The property was booked because both couples prefer showers to baths. Also, it referred to a 'terrace area' at the rear - frankly it was unusable for sitting out in.

Great location in perfect cottage. Walking distance to everything.
