Everything was good and exactly what we wanted - for the price you cannot expect room service. We loved the location which gave us easy access to the facilities we needed and the staff directed us to the ramp of a 24hour carpark with CCTV 20m from the front door.

Clean hotel in a slightly dirty part of Ipswich — a tidy, quiet, no-frills oasis. Parking is in a public garage about 7 minutes’ walk away, so it’s neither convenient nor free. —— The hotel is in good shape and is run well. Rooms are a little smaller than you may expect. I couldn’t walk around the bed, as it’s accessible from only one side. TV reception iffy. Despite the slight drawbacks, I’d stay there again if I were in Ipswich. Very central location.

The location for us was really good the carpark was a couple of minutes walk from the roof top carpark in great Coleman St... The hotel was just as described, clean and quiet we had a family room for one night to attend the football and it was perfectly fine fod the price we paid.

Exactly what it says. Easy book in room small but all you need, bed toilet, shower. Air con, tv. Quilt I felt too hot, no other option. Take a bottle of water up with you. Coffee machine in lobby difficult to work but nice coffee and seating area. Easy log out.

Property was good, we did have a noise outside the room, which were lead to believe was something to do with the air conditioning. We did have a bad time finding the car park, then a five minute walk to the hotel.

Great location in the heart of the town centre, warm friendly, professional and efficient welcome. There are pleasant communal areas, yet there is no bar or restaurant; the only food and drink available is from vending machines. The rooms are very compact, yet are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a pleasant place to be, however, there is no space for a chair or desk. I booked a room with a window, yet, my room had only a window with obscured glass so I might as well had reserved a room without a window. The compact en-suite bathroom was also spotlessly clean and the shower was awesome. This is a value for money no fuss hotel which is highly recommended by me.

Everything clean, and simple. You have to judge this place for what you pay. Low price, minimal facilities but what you need. Very comfortable, very clean, shower and bed both very good. Location very central. Parked nearby. Will be returning.

When I booked it stated could borrow a hairdryer and iron but neither was available the bathroom floor was disgustingly dirty and the toilet was dirty and there was still rubbish in the bathroom bin and for £48 I expected it to be clean at least

The staff are very friendly & helpful, some definitely nicer than others, the gentleman working Friday early evening, was fantastic and trying to get a remote / tv to work but unfortunately didn’t work properly so we gave up. The room wasn’t overly clean, the floors were very dirty especially under the bed and the space between bathroom walk and bed. Overall though for what we needed it for it does the job, just to warn you though if you opt to pay for window, the windows do not even open and the rooms a very small if you are on the larger side there is a lack of space to get ready etc especially when sharing.

We had 3 very compact rooms no windows. One had a cockroach in it so was given another room. Manager doesn’t work weekends so was given an email address to report concerns.2 rooms had problems with the showers no water pressure and stopped mid flow. Would never stay here again.

Really, really impressed. Very clean, doggy friendly, good customer service and rooms were very good for price - really quiet and we had a good night sleep. Great location. Would definitely stay again!

Room is too small for more than one person, with nowhere to even put things/bags etc other than the floor. Bed is very much on the hard side, that may suit some people. Toilet roll holder is too short for the toilet rolls so you have to find somewhere else to balance it.

Great location. Very clean. Comfortable beds, Friendly service. No plug sockets working in one of our rooms so unable to charge phones, use hairdryer, or straighteners. Air con didn’t work in either room.

Room was clean although very small and no storage for clothes or anything. Literally a bed and two fixed hangers. We had two nights here and hated living out of a suitcase under the bed. Ideal location for the town and the waterfront

You pay for what you get. It is ok. The room is quite small. However you get a bathroom with shower as well. No kettle or tea making facilities. You have to make it in a machine in reception. The bed was not the most comfy I have slept in but it did the job. The room did also have air con but it kept coming up with an error code so I turned it off. All in all, it was decent and did the job of providing a bed whilst in Ipswich.

My tiny room was sufficient and quiet,of human noise anyway.The restfulness of my stay was however ruined by some sort of generator or extractor that hummed like an aeroplane on and off night and day outside. Duvet only just warm enough and I am not a fussy person. Place a bit soulless and staff therefore a bit disengaged. It’s an interesting formula for low cost accommodation but needs tweaking back a bit from being quite so basic and functional.

The room was basic with no window. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The room did, however, lack any hooks to hang coats etc., and there was no chair or table which would have been useful to put clothes or luggage. The only place to hang clothing were two fixed, rigid metal hangers. Aside from this, the stay was satisfactory.

Rude in his attitude and way of speaking to me, refused to explain why he was asking certain questions. Then the room was the icing on the cake, clever photography made the room look bigger, it is tiny, hard small double bed you could only just get around, a tv that didn’t work very well and pillows that were so thin they felt non existent. Add the lack of any tea or coffee facilities in the room and a good title for a review would be ‘avoid unless you have no other choice’ we should have done that. We should have realised when you pay more for a barely able to see out of window.

My Wife's experience was terrible, turfed out of the room at 10am despite paying for a late check-out. The staff did not believe my wife had paid for a late check out, and promptly demanded to see evidence, when showing our credit card statement, we were still not believed, it was only after being forced to leave that the staff noticed their error. No apologies were offered.

Booked last minute and the staff on the front desk couldn’t be more helpful. It was nice & cheap, bed was comfortable & clean, towels & showers were just what was needed after a long day. No complaints from me at all 👏

The team were really helpful and the room was comfy and clean. I was right in the city centre so could easily pop out to local shops when I found I had forgotten things. Danielle was especially helpful.

I couldn’t walk around the bed, as it’s accessible from only one side. TV reception iffy. Despite the slight drawbacks, I’d stay there again if I were in Ipswich. Very central location.

Bed and room were fine for a night, fairly comfy. Staff were getting grumpy that people wanted to check in before 3pm and were not polite about helping. I left and came back well after 3 in order not to have that issue. They couldn't get me a key right away so the staff had to let me into the room with a master key. Hotel is clean and tidy but the area was horrible. Garbage and excrement on the pavement out front, lighting wasn't great either.

Everything clean, and simple. You have to judge this place for what you pay. Low price, minimal facilities but what you need. Very comfortable, very clean, shower and bed both very good. Location very central. Parked nearby. Will be returning.

Booked for an overnight stay in Ipswich for early morning appointment. The hotel was central close to local bus terminus and close to a wide range of restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful the rooms clean, quiet, and with good facilities. A little small but fantastic value for money and ideal for an overnight stay

There are pleasant communal areas, yet there is no bar or restaurant; the only food and drink available is from vending machines. The rooms are very compact, yet are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a pleasant place to be, however, there is no space for a chair or desk. I booked a room with a window, yet, my room had only a window with obscured glass so I might as well had reserved a room without a window. The compact en-suite bathroom was also spotlessly clean and the shower was awesome. This is a value for money no fuss hotel which is highly recommended by me.

Everything in the room was average and very basic. Unfortunately, no where to make a hot drink in the room, but you could buy them from downstairs in the reception at £2.50 a cup and £1 for hot water. Despite this cost was cheap for a family over night stay

As a first time user, pleasantly surprised with the quality and convenience of this Easy hotel. Will definitely use again when next visiting Ipswich. We chose a room with a window (frosted glass), so can't comment on how it would feel if windowless. Room compact and fine for a short stay (we stayed 2 nights). Good temperature control. Lots of breakfast options nearby, so the fact that this is not provided is not problematic.

The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Only complaint and it is a BIG one is the lack of even a small desk/table! The pizza we had delivered, had to be eaten on the bed - definitely more staining of bed linen- so unnecessary! I’m all for the minimalist style but functionality must prevail. Worse is the cost of the drinks in the foyer; whether it being a latte, black tea or hot water - all cost £2. Really?

Clean, friendly and accommodating. Room though, very small just enough room for a double bed and to move on one side. Two fixed hangers in small entrance and shower/WC room opposite. No tea making but it could be purchased from a machine in the downstairs lobby. Cant expect to much from a budget hotel and OK for a one night stopover

There was barely 6 inches between the beds and the walls. Made getting ready very difficult. Not even a cup in the bathroom for water, although later some paper cups were available at reception. The heating controls were difficult to understand, and the light on the panel started flashing in the middle of the night which was irritating. We paid to have a window but it was so high up the wall it was pointless. Someone was on duty when we arrived, but reception unmanned the rest of the time. No way of summoning anyone in an emergency from the room. Nowhere but the bed to fit the suitcase and nowhere to sit. Although cheaper than other local hotels not by enough to make up for the inconvenience

I realised afterwards that I had been given exactly the same room I had stayed in previously over a year ago. Coincidence or the member of Staff accessed record of my previous stay. Was given a new room upon my complaint. Smaller but clean. A double bed but only one person with one towel. First night air con stopped working with unit light flashing , had to put a sock over it to cover up the flashing. Was too tired to get up get dressed and inform reception. This also happened when I stayed here before so not a one off. Coming back into the room on my final night my key card didn’t work to get in. Had to ask for new one.

Other than that great hotel.

As expected a very basic room, with less then 6 inches gap around each side of the bed. Only space to store baggage is under the bed and there is little space to unpack. Only a single soft pillow is provided which did not provide sufficient head support without doubling over. Room only had one bath towel provided, had to ask for a second when the room was booked for two people Duvent cover had a stain on top, but was otherwise clean. Remains of soap in shower soap dish indicating cleaning was not properly carried out. Low water pressure of shower madeit difficult to use as water flow was too close to taps to be able to get properly under. Hot drinks machine was out of order so had to go outside for drinks. Only redeeming feature is the great Italian restaurant opposite the hotel. Even at the low price, would not stay here again.
