We were really disappointed in our stay. I was hoping for a cheerful weekend for a dad and two kids to get out of the city. I was excited for a pool, hot tub and sauna, for some lazy breakfasts with board games, and then we had planned to be out exploring the Georgina area the rest of the time. The pool was locked up and you to ask permission each time you wanted to use it. The staff seemed reluctant. It was unheated and dirty feeling. The hot tub next to it had been shut down "by order of the health inspector" with a big warning sign. None of us finished our first day breakfast - the food had an off taste. We asked to use the pool and were told it was closed until 9am. We asked to rent a pedal boat and were told they weren't available until noon. With nothing to do on site, we gave up and left the hotel for the day. That was the last time we used the facilities. The next day we had learned to stick with pre-packaged foods for breakfast, so we had the individual yogurt servings. We quickly packed and got out of there, and had a great morning at Willow Greens golf range and mini put, and at Sibbald Point swimming and hiking. We loved the area and the hotel offered us a place to crash at night, but the amenities and food were really disappointing for us. We don't get out of the city often - we would not go back to this hotel.

Our room didn’t have hot water. Couldnn’t have a shower. Our toilet ran all night. The beds were rock hard. The baseboards were un gluing. Room was clean. Hard to park my truck. Very limited parking because of the snow. Pool was freezing cold. Hot tub didn’t work

The pool is small 10 people maximum and you would be touching. The hot tub does not work. The breakfast is a joke. Its nothing like google or their website states. The room has cracks every and my bathroom door was broken. The bathroom have been renovated. The property is gorgeous, has a community fire pit in the summer and out door tables. Also its own beach. If this place was maintained it would be a dream. However they have horrible management and when talking to the manager he was rude, dishonest and pushy.

The hotel/resort was nice and cozy. The hotel had a small indoor pool and a nice hot tub. It was clean and met our needs. Our room was very spacious witb a king size bed. Had a fridge but No microwave though. Hotel was right on the water. Nice views. The restaurant in the hotel was nice. Complementary breakfast was good. The dinner at night was great the cherry wood smoked duck..unbelievably delicious. Highly recommend it. All in all comfortable and clean...i would definitely go there again

We did not use the spa! It was closed and had to make an appointment. The dining room menu was not much choice. The breakfast was good eggs could have been could a little more but the whole setup was great. We booked because of the pool and hot tub but did not use it felt really cold. The hot tub was closed so that part was disappointing other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Water front is beautiful.

Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. The property was full of snow. Barely any paths cleared, it made for a difficult time getting around. We had plans to use the hot tub over the weekend; however, The hot tub was out of service and that was not mentioned anywhere prior to us showing up, we found out first hand. Apparently it’s been out of service for quite a while. The beds are a little hard and the pillows as well. Otherwise the room was nice.

Cute and clean hotel… staff and management are super friendly and gracious. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and the room was very clean. Location … can’t be beat. Beautiful lakefront property with huge dock. They were setting up for summer while we were there with countless water toys being prepped.

Our family had a great stay. Breakfast was included. The pool was great for the kids. Hot tub was lovely for the adults. Rooms were clean. We went in the winter and could see the potential for the summer. Could use some updating though.

The exterior and grounds were in rough shape very unkempt. The flooring in our room was laminate and all separated leaving big gaps that were full of dirt. The air conditioner was SO loud you couldn’t sleep unless it was turned off but then the room was uncomfortably hot. And it smelled like sewage in our room, found the culprit to be our toilet wasn’t actually attached to the floor and had a gap where the toilet pipe was leaking the smell of sewage into our room, another family said their room smelled like a hockey bag! The breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast my son took one bite of a sausage and gagged and he loves breakfast sausage. We put food on our plate sat down and decided against eating the food. The soccer team we were with the boys went into the pool hot tub area there were no towels and when I went to the lobby to ask for some I was informed it would be at least 10min before we could get towels. The only good thing was the view of the water.

The hotel room itself was quite clean and nice, other than the curtains. The shower curtains were quite dirty and it seemed like they hadn't been washed in a while, but otherwise the room was pretty clean. The lamp beside the beds was also broken, the light wouldn't turn on and the outlets connected to the lamp also didn't work unless I twisted the lamp's wire in a certain direction. Lastly, the wifi was absolutely awful and would not work whatsoever in the room. There is no service either, so it was almost impossible to use our phones at all unless we stepped out of the room and walked a bit towards the main property. Otherwise, the hotel was wonderful! Beautiful area on the lake and very kind and helpful staff with great suggestions about what to do in the area.

The location is beautiful. The hotel is old, falling apart and beyond dirty! I mean, disgusting!! We tried 3 different rooms and all stunk terribly. We settled on this room and house keeping came to spray freshener and give it a clean for us. It was still disgusting. I'm not picky. I just need clean and safe. This was NOT clean! This was over $200 for one night. Never again.

The curtains in our motel room had holes in them, mirror had hand prints on it, tub had a chip out of it, fridge was dented. Door to riom paint was chipped off. Sheets elastic worn so much didn't stay in bed. Hot tub had foam in it not sure what that was We did not expect to be staying in a motel room adjacent the. main hotel. Very disappinting

The view of Lake Simcoe right outside our door was amazing. The peace and quiet of the area was also lovely. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. It was nice to have breakfast included.There was plenty of parking.

Stay was fine. Breakfast was good. The room needs a bit of attention. Cannot black out the walkway lighting. Room rather bright, curtians old and have holes. The curtains do not go to bottom of window. Lots of weird insects in room. Some living in the towels. Not is a hurry to go back. Served the purpose fine for a one night stay. The pool and hottub were nice.

This hotel is waterfront and the view is beautiful, I can only imagine it in the summer. The room was large, comfortable and the bedding was heavenly. A spectacular huge walk-in shower was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were friendly and personable. I didn't attend the Spa but the area looked classy and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, although very basic. I would stay here again if in the area again.

My room was the wrong room. The heat was cranked up on high so the room was like a sauna. Even with the heat completely off, the only thing the clerk could do to cool it off was prop open the room door. Couldn’t have the window open because there was no screen and the a/c didn’t work.

We have stayed here lots of times so things are familiar. Staff are friendly and caring. We have an Austistic 10 year old and staff know we need to be in the main building, not Lakeside. We also have a busy 3 year old and everyone is understanding.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada in Jackson's Point. The room was clean, the view was spectacular overlooking Lake Simcoe and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Buffet breakfast was also included for both days and it was very good (the eggs actually tasted like eggs!). So all in all, good job and we will return to this property on our next visit.

Recently booked 3 nights of stay, every night, the door cards required reactivation. After 10pm with the lobby being closed, a call in to the receptionist was required to have someone come down to my room to let me in. On-top of this they wanted to check through my phone emails and spend a half an hour confirming that my stay was legit, I didn't get inside the room until 1am. Not happy. 2 nights in a row this occurred

Our room was good. But other rooms kept partying until 5am and didn't let us sleep. We also wanted to rent kayak, but there was a language barrier with the reception so we thought they only have paddle board, later we realized they didn't understand what we asked. Location is very good and right on the lake.

Great view. Since it’s by the beach, be wary of bugs but otherwise, great! I love the option of paid late checkouts since my partner and I decided to opt for the 3pm one that gave us extra time to enjoy our stay and the views!

Really love this property. Only down side, we were told the dining room would be open for dinner while a wedding was in the banquet hall, my husband and I were very excited to try the duck special, but unfortunately this was not the case when four of us went to have dinner. The Server informed us that she was told the dining room would be opened as well, but it was not. We had to go and find a Restaurant.

The best part about this property is the location. Right on the waterfront it has amazing views and you can spend hours just sitting on the dock. However the rooms are very dated. We had a fridge that never cooled, an air con that only worked at high speed which made the room uncomfortable and a table that shook every time we even touched it. Breakfast was quite terrible with uncooked Pancakes and dried out sausages. To sum up the only thing probably keeping this place alive is the location and the lack of any competition in the area.

Free breakfast was awesome! Always a plus when you book a hotel. I enjoyed the Christian music that was playing during breakfast. Very inspiring to start my day. Rooms were very clean.

Worst excuse for breakfast we've ever had. Cold scrambled eggs, only ok sausages (luke warm), no bacon, pancakes not cooked when the new batch finally arrived barely warm, only white bread for toast, no other muffin/biscuits around, no juice, no tea/decaf coffee, no cold cereals or fruit. 1st morning the bananas were all over ripe.

Beautiful spot. We had a very relaxing time. Only disappointment was the restaurant being closed Mon & Tues...the 2 days we were there. Breakfast was still served though and it was delicious.
