Sleep Inn & Suites near Sports World Blvd

This hotel was clean and well kept. Ice machine was not working on 2nd floor but there were two more upstairs. There is a pool, huge hot tub and a lazy river. Awesome hotel with very nice rooms.

There was a plexi glass window that was falling in the pool area over the entrance and they refused to fix it. So the pool area was unsafe. Only 1 elevator and the housekeeper was constantly using it and no one else could fit in the elevator with him because of the cleaning cart. It was inconvenient unfortunately.

The coffee machine dispensed water one day, didn't work at all the next. A fitness room was listed, but had a permanently closed sign on the door. The chairs in the lobby were stained beyond belief. I understand older, less expensive places mean compromise, but this was a bit much.

We stay because of the indoor pool, which unfortunately was freezing. My grandkids really didn’t get too much swimming time. It’s a simple pool with no frills, but unusable because of temp.

Room was clean , but patio area had trash and a cup full of cigarette buts etc.. Bed slep good, but pillows are the smallest iv ever encountered. Fireplace didnt work. Reported it to front desk , but no one ever came to look at it. Lazy river only had 3 tubes. Could use updating. Was ok but not what i expected.

The room was great. Didn’t expect the jacuzzi tab. The pool could have been warmer. Loved the lazy river and hot tub. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again!

Gym was closed nothing was working ice machine was broke pop machine eats change shower was weak exhaust fan was gone in our bathroom. Old and ran down motel that was clean.

We were pleasantly surprised considering the lower price point. Everywhere we wanted to go in Gatlinburg was within a 10-15 minute walk. There was plenty of parking. The breakfast included not only standard continental breakfast items, but also sausage and scrambled eggs. Our bathroom had some definite wear and tear, but the room in general was clean. The beds were comfortable. Our room overlooked the indoor pool which fascinated my kids. It was a little loud at times though when a lot of people were in the pool. The pool was very clean. There was only one tube for the lazy river which seemed odd, but it was a cool feature.

The pictures and lighting used are a little deceiving. The property is pretty well aged. The color choices in our King Suite dated it back towards the late 90s. The bathroom fixtures the same way. The toilet sat super low to the ground. The shower head was mounted to accommodate persons under 5'6" tall. You had a heat lamp to help dry you off, but the bathroom had no exhaust vent. So you would smolder in humidity for a while. The TV was under whelming in size (small) for being a "suite" You also had zero access to any of the extra ports the TV might of had, so we couldn't set up a Amazon Fire stick or our Nintendo Switch. The bed was alright, but a little on the firm side. When selecting a room with a "Patio" just know it will open up right onto East Parkway. So you get the traffic noise during the day. The A/C was under sized for the room, or extremely wore out. It oddly enough let is set it to 51 degrees (it would go from 71 then skip the whole 60 range of temps) Even at 51, the room always felt hot unless you was 4ft from the unit. The highlights of the location is the in-door like pool (it's built as an enclosed extension of the building) that does have a separate lazy river & hot tub. In a pinch we would probably stay here again, but would defiantly try to find somewhere else that is more updated.

The office staff (including breakfast manager) was awesome! Room was clean. The only thing was the pool and lazy river was not heated. Also we had no air, but the technician quickly repaired this.

It was small room and no real lobby to speak of. I had a comforter on my bed sliced all to hell. Maid tried to hide that and the blood stains on it by laying it face down on the sheet you cover up with. Tub was not cleaned. It has a decent breakfast and big pool area. But they need to clean the pool area better. The back dooe by the jacuzzi is left propt open. Anyone off that back street or alley can get in. Security risk as then they have access to the hotel without a key card. Coffee was nice to have available around the clock.

Mold in the bathroom.

Roaches….

If these things matter to you… we had multiple roaches in our room. We saw a total of 3 during our stay. And these roaches weren’t afraid of people. They were leisurely crawling on the walls and in the bathroom. The two pullout beds were extremely used and showed their wear with stains and use. The king bed was very hard. Some white hand towels in the bathroom had brown stains on them. Just outside on our room, in the ceiling was an upside down clear bottle stuck between the ceiling tiles. It looked like it was there to catch water. There was mold on several areas of carpet in our room. Did not try out the pool as it looked like a cesspool. Will definitely not be staying here again. Thought this would be a good option based off description and pictures provided.

We came up as a family and honestly you get what you paid for, the hallways smell like old smoke. The comforters had holes and sheets were staind.

Hotel is nice but the room we were in had green mold all over the couch and sitting chair.

The bed blankets were the worst I ever seen with red stain and what looked like rotted holes so I requested another one and it was almost as bad so I used our own blankets for 3 of the 4 days I had booked for but left before our last day.

Likes: Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, quiet environment. The continental breakfast was okay ... about what I expected. Dislikes: When I checked in, there were wadded up candy wrappers beside the TV, and the previous guest's nightshirt had been left in the bathroom, which really made me question how much attention the housekeeper was giving their job. There also looked like something was growing in the shower, and the TV remote was NASTY. I shudder to think how many germs were living on it.

***BED BUGS*** we woke up to bed bug bites at 4:30 am had to leave we have pictures of them on the sheets and under the bed in between the box spring. The front clerk was very nice and said he would issue us a full refund. The next day the manager said she did a search and didn’t find any bed bugs and only gave us a partial refund. This is ridiculous, I understand these things happen but we have clear evidence of bed bugs and the manager just said no. We finally spoke with the GM and he was appologetic and said he’s in touch with pest control. The female manager was extremely unconcerned and distasteful towards her customers.

Did not have a balcony. Breakfast was ok.

Staff friendly. Room had a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and balcony, had a very relaxing enjoyable stay. Breakfast was good, but not great. Really good location.

Room with Jacuzzi, clean and comfortable. Noise from the road outside was expected. But room was private didn’t hear any neighbors.

The man who checked me in was very nice and the room was clean. I loved i had a room to sit in and watch tv before going to bed. The jacuzzi was amazing the only thing wrong was the bed was so hard and very uncomfortable i didn't get any sleep. The pillow went flat very easy.

Pros: The staff were all awesome and friendly, the room was pretty clean and the pool was cleanand breakfast was better than your average hotel. Cons: TV was dated, small, and kept loosing signal out whole stay and it was good weather so wasn't due to storms. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard, the pillows are square little ones like you would use on your couch, I got literally one pack of regular coffee and ended up not even making myself coffee because the coffee maker was kind of nasty, the shower would not drain so you had to stand in a pool of water while you showered, the refrigerator froze everything even on its lowest setting, the towels felt like sandpaper, in order to get back and forth to the mix of things in Gatlinburg you are going to want to Uber more than likely because it's downhill on the way there which is not very bad but it's a mile away from where everything is and it's all straight uphill for over half of the trip back. I did not use the pool because every time I would go to use it it would have kids swimming in it and it's not a very big pool but it looked clean. Also in comparison to other rooms that I have gotten in Gatlinburg for around the same price this one is rather cramped. Normally I don't make any kind of complaints and I'm not a very hard person to please but I left this vacation with a major back and shoulder pain, dried out skin from the rough towels, and sore feet and legs from trying to get back and forth to the strip.

The location to Gatlinburg was very close and at a walkable distance. The size of the rooms was very spacious.

Our check in was great! The staff were all very friendly. I called prior to booking this hotel to ensure the hot tub was in working order as i paid the extra money just for the hotel with a hot tub. I was told yes it was all in working order. Once we arrived nothing was said we were told again that yes it was working. It was not!!! I wasted double the money it would have cost for another room less than a mile away just to have the hot tub and then it didn't work after i was lied to twice about it. I have a medical condition where walking stairs is very difficult for me. On the day we checked out i had to walk 6 flights of stairs 4 times to load my luggage into my car bc the elevator wasn't working and i was told that there wasn't anything they could do to make it any easier to get my bags downstairs. The worst experience I have ever had booking a room through Hotels.com. Will never stay here again!!!

Quick check in, friendly staff, clean room

Check-in was okay, but the clerk wasn't the friendliest. Our second day there was the biggest issue. We had a mishap where we had come back in for the night and our mirror had fallen and shattered. I have small children, so that made it even worse, plus we had to move to a different room, and it was tiny and cramped with all of us and our belongings. The same clerk was there that night and the way he handled it was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Between him picking up the mirror and then dropping it from about 3 feet in the air, scaring every child in the room, to me having to move the mirror in the hallway and then go downstairs to get the broom so that I could move glass just for us to move our stuff out of the room. He didn't offer any help at all. I had to go back downstairs to find out if he had a new room ready for us, no phone call, couldn't even bring the key up to us. Luckily the manager I spoke with the next morning was very sweet and dealt with the issue in a much better fashion. Overall, the hotel was pretty clean, but didn't like the fact that stayover housekeeping had to be requested, otherwise they don't do anything to your room. Only because of our experience with the shattered mirror, I will not ever stay here again, or recommend them to anyone else.

Room was nice and much larger than expected. Only thing I would say was inconvenient was they were behind on cleaning rooms and we had no towels even after checking time of 4pm didn't get towels till around 7pm and had to go ask for them. And the hallways smelled. But other than that it was nice and would stay there again.

Very friendly staff but it is clear that this hotel is understaffed, particularly in house keeping. Room looked like it needed to be vacuumed, dusted, and wiped down.Did not feel comfortable using the pool or lazy river as they appeared unclean. It's not inhabitable. Needs more staff for cleaning and perhaps remodeling. On the plus side, the location is close to downtown, walking distance. And again the staff- particularly lobby were friendly and helpful. The one staff member overseeing the free breakfast was hardworking.

Quick check in, room smelled good and was clean, front desk was very nice and helpful.

This is the second time I have visited the hotel and it has always been very pleasing to my family and I. We like the hotel, the service at the reception is very friendly.

AMAZING!!! The friendliest staff I have ever encountered in my years of staying in the area.. The rooms are exactly like the pictures show.. and if you like your room is cold at night when you sleep, man, let me tell you the air conditioner in these rooms are the place for you to be!!! Great location, walking distance to Ripley’s aquarium, Ol Red Restaurant etc… cannot say one thing bad about this place!!!

Convenient location and friendly staff. Away from large crowds but still close to the action

This was a last minute one night stay. Definitely worth the price. Clean, comfortable, and convenient location.

It is a nice little quiet hotel away from the noise in the center of Gatlinburg town.

The place was clean. Comfy beds. Nice parking area. Walking distance to shops but the walk back is a challenge because it’s hilly. The staff were helpful and friendly. Waffles, eggs, sausage, etc for breakfast.

Eggs and sausage were good, wasnt expecting them in a continental breakfast. Location is great, right on the trolley route. Even if you want to drive somewhere, you dont have to worry about parking, there was always available parking. Would stay there again.

Tub could have been cleaner, pool area didn't have towels and wasn't the cleanest, the pool was cloudy. Staff was great and so was their breakfast. The room was great we had a patio King suite which was nice.

I liked the hotel. I did not like the coffee. They had tea bag coffee and no kerig style coffee maker. And there was no fresh coffee in the lobby. They had machine coffee. The breakfast was okay. But coffee is most important

There was nothing that made this property stand out for the price that we paid. breakfast was cold and not very well stocked. Everything was to spread out. And not enough room for people that were handicapped. The hallway smelled musty and when you flushed the toilet in the room it smelled like sewage.

Old. Small lobby and definitely not a comfortable place to relax and have coffee. The outside balconies are filthy. Not the friendliest staff. BUT the rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast, while advertised as continental, is a full breakfast, which was a great surprise.

It was the perfect location. It was close to everything without being right on the strip. The pool and lazy river were great to relax in. Breakfast was also good. I just wish they had high chairs for traveling families.
