Enjoyable stay in a pleasant room. Tavern and dining area in the hotel was very convenient. Easy walk to town and park/ beach area.

My husband and I were travelling 3-hours to attend a funeral in Port Sanilac, MI, and needed a place to stay. We fell in love with the on-line photo of The Cadillac House Hotel. It reminded us of a beautiful, well-cared for, historic bldg. When we arrived, we were thrilled to see that the actual bldg. was even more beautiful in-person. The outside grounds were crisp & clean, and inviting, and had numerous cozy, areas with clean tables, chairs, and rockers, so you could sit outside and enjoy the views and quaintness of Port Sanilac. The inside of the hotel did not disappoint, from the friendly, courteous desk clerk that checked us in, to the quaint restaurant & tavern with EXCELLENT food. Lovely choices in decor. The rooms are somewhat small, especially the room we stayed in, but that was only a minor thing with all the other awesome ambience. Also, every single person we were in contact with, was pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating. We didn't want to leave and will definitely return. Thank You, Roger & Claran Quinn

We had a very nice time at the Cadillac House. It’s well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly. The bar and restaurant are very nice.

Quaint updated building! Queen room isn’t large but tastefully decorated and comfortable. Nice sitting areas around and in the building. Walking distance (close) to cute shops, the beach and the theatre. Our room was on the road side so a tad noisy with traffic. Will come back here again for a quick getaway!

Not a great experience. From check in, everyone working here was very slow, physically and otherwise. The book in the room that stated their features and services was incorrect and when I asked about it they just said “oh Hilton changed that and we haven’t updated our website or book”. It was very bare minimum yet expensive. The only positive was location, we could walk to the coffee shop in the morning (the best part about our stay!) and the grocery store at night (also restaurants that were no better than the hotel, forgetting to put our order in for an hour even after asking 3 times). Our room at the hotel was in a separate building from the check in and lounge so we had to go outside each time we needed anything. No ice, no microwave, no breakfast, no closets or anywhere to put clothes. Bed was small and room had just enough space for the bed and one tiny dresser. Hallways and common areas had a weird smell. Doubtful we would stay here again

This hotel is so noisy. All night long, banging from who knows where and random water running. For the price, it was fair. Only chair in the room was a hard kitchen type, no closet, no iron. Also if you are in the rooms over the carriage house it is ridiculous- 3 sets of random stairs - no elevator.

Everything new - bedding is great. Location is perfect to walk everywhere, including the beach. The room we stayed in is in a separate building with an exterior 2nd level walkway with a few stairs which connects to main hotel. Not a problem for us, but could be an issue for some. We also stopped by the bar for a night cap and enjoyed the cozy dining area.

The Cadillac Hotel is a Beautifully restored historic hotel. We couldn’t have been happier. The restaurant and tavern served us well. The Tavern has the original wood long bar. Gorgeous Lovely town and just a few blocks to the lake. We will return.

We liked the decor and cleanliness of room and grounds. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was walking distance to stores and restaurants. We did have couple of issues, which one was a large damp ring on rug in room that we did not notice until we came back to room after day in city. Also woke up to no hot water.

First impression....rug in the elevator was disgusting! Looked as if someone had gotten sick and was stained. Room was dusty, dirty and hairs in the bed!

The staff was friendly, place was very clean, the only issue we had was that the air conditioning in our room either wasn’t working or wasn’t great so we were hot all night. Highly recommend overall

This is our third or fourth visit to this property, and while we had a comfortable stay, the condition of the property needs some attention. The first impression upon opening the door was our heavily stained rug in the living area. Our friends had a room on the third floor that also had a dirty rug. These should be steamed cleaned regularly, it’s really unsightly. There were lots of scuff marks on the walls throughout our room. On our balcony there was trash from the previous guest, including a bag of empty beer bottles and a can that had been used as an ashtray. Several hangers from a dry cleaners were left in the bathroom. The cleaning seemed haphazard. This won’t deter me from staying again, but I would really hope that some effort would be put into keeping the hotel looking great. We all know Hilton has the money.

We stayed one night at The Cadillac House in Lexington, and would not hesitate to stay again. Our room was small, but lovely. Perfect location for anything that would bring you to the downtown Lexington area.

We stayed 2 nights at the end of Labor Day weekend, 2025. Our room was located on the second floor of the detached additional building. The room was very clean and the bathroom was large with a nice big shower, lots of hot water! However, our view of the roof top HVAC unit was not cool, especially since it was our only view amongst potentially breathtaking views. Also, they cancled our room keys after our 1st night, and we had to get new keys to get into our room. I would make sure to call the front desk and specifically request a room minus the view of the roof top AC units, which seem to be center to all second floor inside rooms.

Traffic noise can be a bit loud but they had a white noise machine you can request and this worked great at blocking the noise out. The lady who checked me in went above and beyond for me, I wish I could remember her name. In casual conversation with her while checking in I mentioned that we has arrived by boat and I had tried without luck to find a golf cart to rent. Well an hour later I received a call from this wonder employee telling me she found a golf cart rental for me at Scott Rod Garage and within an hour I had my golf cart! I can’t thank her enough for doing this for me. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place! This hotel is historic and so close to the beach. I wish we were here during better weather! Even in 40 degrees we went down to the beach and it was wonderful. We booked the king room with the balcony and it was well worth it. Room was clean, spacious and well above our expectations for the price. Especially loved the robes and the glasses provided in the rooms. We will be back.

The room was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Mattress was way too soft though.

There was no one at the property when I tried to check in. Also, no one answered the after hours phone number and I called numerous times. I was finally able to use the mainline option4 for after hours to get ahold of someone. Amazing property but horrible check in experience.

Absolutely Devastating Experience, Beware of Overbooking! I’ve never written a review like this before, but our experience was so upsetting that I feel compelled to warn others. On June 30th, I stopped by this hotel in person to request a room with two queen beds and to let the front desk know we’d be arriving a day late checking in around noon on July 3rd. The front desk staff made a handwritten note of the request and the late arrival. I appreciated the honesty when they said rooms with two queens are limited, and I completely understood that it might not be available. What I did not expect was to arrive on July 3rd, after flying in from Dallas for a special 80th birthday celebration, and be told that our entire reservation had been given away. We had nowhere to stay. The staff apologized and said it’s “Hilton policy” to overbook rooms, but no one ever called, emailed, or texted to ask if we were still coming. If they had reached out before canceling our room, this could have been avoided. Instead, we were left stranded two hours north of Detroit on a holiday weekend with no backup plan. We were told to try the golf course or a B&B “down the road.” After knocking on doors and calling around for over an hour, there was nothing available. We were completely out of luck. This trip was meant to be a joyful family celebration, and it turned into a nightmare. I would never recommend this property. If you value reliability, communication, and basic hospitality, look elsewhere

I stayed here for my birthday vacation and also took the opportunity to explore wedding venues for our upcoming wedding. The hotel is very nice and very clean—it truly made us feel at home. It’s in a convenient location, perfect for walking around town and enjoying the beach! The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Michelle and Jenna. Both were so friendly and helpful, but Michelle truly went above and beyond. She took the time to show us the event spaces and made everything feel very homey. She was so helpful, and her kindness really stood out! This hotel made our trip feel extra special, and we’ll definitely be back again!

We stayed one night at The Cadillac House in Lexington, and would not hesitate to stay again. Our room was small, but lovely. Perfect location for anything that would bring you to the downtown Lexington area.

We absolutely loved our time in Lexington this past weekend. The Cadillac House was the perfect spot for us. Convenient to everything in the village and an absolutely beautiful property. We especially enjoyed the bar and restaurant. Great food, great spirits and a great atmosphere and service.
