The staff were polite and friendly from the moment we arrived. The room was so light, spacious and clean, plenty of room for the 3 of us that stayed. Cooked or continental breakfast. Located just off the A27 was very easy to get to with plenty of parking on site. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend

Nice pub and hotel in a convenient location for getting around the area by car. We stayed over for Goodwood Festival so the price was a lot higher but still good value overall, and we got to the event in 20 minutes. Couple of minor issues, the room we stayed in was unbearably hot and no air con, and the breakfast was very good quality but the portions were small, only one bacon and sausage, more like a half English breakfast. The bar closes at 11 and the staff are keen to get you back to your room so they can close the pub, dont expect a late session. The pub is very nice and cosy and the room was spacious, the shower was also decent. Overall would recommend and would stay again.

After staying in back to back hotel chain hotels for nearly a week previously this was a really nice change. Chap who runs it very friendly and helpful, excelled on service. Nice local pub and nice food with separate sleeping accommodation which was new and clean. Very quiet, food good and area nice. Would stay again.

Can't fault this hotel at all! It's got the great balance of a traditional English pub, with the modern hotel facilities. The room was spacious, clean and full of natural daylight. The welcome from the staff was fantastic, and the breakfast was really tasty too. I will definitely return!

Property was very nice, the pub is 18th century and very cosy. The accommodation is in a separate building, (newly built or converted) and very nice. The breakfast was nice with vegetarian option. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the furniture is high quality. As much heat as you want in the room, controlled via the radiator valve. Access to the hotel is not great as you have to turn in quite sharply on a national speed limit dual carriageway but not much can be done about that. Nothing else nearby to walk to really so you have to get in the car. Can only rejoin the carriageway westbound which is awkward if you really wanted to go east. There was some decor in the bathroom that was in need of some attention. Not really bad but I expected more from the listing.

Hotel had a case of mosquitos not their fault, because of housing estate being built, I thought I closed my window securely but unfortunately it came open because it don't not have a secure latch. I've got bitten in several places. Big cobwebs in corner of windows. The Hotel is under new management so hopefully improvements will be made and I feel this are historical and problems under old management

Lovely, quiet and comfortable room, very clean. They were so helpful and got our rooms ready early at our request, as we had a wedding to go to at 1pm. Breakfast was excellent too, a lovely full English breakfast cooked to order. Absolutely great, would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The whole experience was excellent. The staff were very professional and polite. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant. I would highly recommend and if I were again in the area I would certainly stay there.

Great place, great staff, great food. Only 1 complaint is the door shuts need sorting in the hotel. The banging of the doors is very loud.

We have stayed here on a few occasions when visiting family in Worthing, just one issue…..internet service is slow. Unfortunately we have to stay in touch with the outside world for business, it’s challenging given the slow internet. Other than that it is perfect.

Nice place with friendly staff, I just couldn’t cope with the bed. Loud creaking every time I moved and could feel the springs in the mattress. Otherwise, it would definitely be my choice again when back in the area.

Travelling for bisiness and this hotel is excellent. Rooms are large and comfortable with free wifi . Food options in pub restaurant are good and taste fantastic. Staff and locals are really friendly and delivered a great experience.

Nice rooms ideal for business trips check in was fine staff were friendly breakfast is only served between 8:00 and 9:00 so I would suggest they do a bed only rate as most people on business which judging from all the vans in the carpark most are have had to leave way before then !

Couple of minor issues, the room we stayed in was unbearably hot and no air con, and the breakfast was very good quality but the portions were small, only one bacon and sausage, more like a half English breakfast. The bar closes at 11 and the staff are keen to get you back to your room so they can close the pub, dont expect a late session. The pub is very nice and cosy and the room was spacious, the shower was also decent. Overall would recommend and would stay again.

Nice pub and hotel in a convenient location for getting around the area by car. We stayed over for Goodwood Festival so the price was a lot higher but still good value overall, and we got to the event in 20 minutes. Lovely, quiet and comfortable room, very clean. They were so helpful and got our rooms ready early at our request, as we had a wedding to go to at 1pm. Breakfast was excellent too, a lovely full English breakfast cooked to order. Absolutely great, would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Hotel was nice. Staff friendly and food at dinner was great. Full English breakfast was small, one sausage, one egg, one rasher bacon and beans with toast. Not what I’d normally expect from a hotel full English. But that’s the only thing I can comment about. Will happily book and stay again

Travelling for bisiness and this hotel is excellent. Rooms are large and comfortable with free wifi . Food options in pub restaurant are good and taste fantastic. Staff and locals are really friendly and delivered a great experience.

This was lovely, well appointed accommodation with plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. My only comment would be that a summer duvet is needed …. It was unbearably hot and heavy. Breakfast was ample and all the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is conveniently situated to visit local attractions.

Absolutely lovely set up, with the new hotel area matching the old style of the pub. The pub is very popular so it's great the rooms are set away from it. Lovely staff, good breakfast. On bus route or taxi makes it effortless to go into Worthing. Would come again and recommend.

Nice place to stay, with clean rooms and free parking. Though the location is purely convenient as there is nothing around. Not far from amenities however. The place could do with a little refresh and it was super hot in the room...the fan wasn't really cutting it. However the food was good and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Great little spot to stay, welcoming and helpful staff with straight forward checkin and reminders for breakfast timings and options to book for evening meal, including advance warning that Sunday evening meals are not available to enable alternative arrangements to be made. We stayed during the heatwave and room would benefit with air-conditioning whether permanently installed or portable units to make rooms much more comfortable. We had a twin room and the bathroom was a full wet room affair and didn’t appear to have an extraction fan which made it more of a sauna. Overall a great location to use the A27 with plenty of parking and good choice of beverages and food.
