Not enough parking space.

Great little place in an unlikely neighborhood. I was in Sunset Park to see a family member at the nearby hospital. Loved free parking, friendly desk guy, comfortable clean room and good bed. Would def stay again if in the area.

A great value for the price, nothing fancy, but a good place to lay your head (speaking of, the pillows were phenomenal). Downside, the walls were a little scuffy, my heat didn't work and there's very minimal parking (6 spaces for the entire hotel to share)

Parking is offered but limited. Parking is behind building, so any vehicle that is too large will have a very difficult time maneuvering.

Check in was easy. Room was small, but was clean and good for our overnight stay. Room has no closet, iron or ironing board. Parking onsite is available but its minimum. Definitely a first come first serve situation. Cant comment on the breakfast we didn't try it. Overall good experience. No real complaints.

An easy access to Subway (MTA) from Brooklyn to Manhattan, basic breakfast was OK. Hard to park sometimes, as spaces are limited and very narrow. In general good hotel

Free parking and breakfast is a huge plus. Location is pretty good, only four blocks from the 36th St subway and Industry City, with lots of options for food. The AC worked incredibly well during the heat wave. Wallpaper was coming off in some areas, and the TV was difficult to work. The bed and pillows were hard as a rock. The ice machine only had ice one out of the three times we tried. Is it the most luxurious hotel? No, but for the price you really can’t beat it.

It was great, but be warned. They say there's parking. But it's first come first serve. It's usually full by the time you get there so I would go park at the liberty view hotels public parking garage

Hotel close to downtown Brooklyn with clean rooms and free breakfast. Only issue was limited parking.

Furniture is old, wallpaper is peeling and fixed with tape, breakfast is boring and all starch, guests can be super noisy as walls are thin. Not sure where staff was during the noise. Not enough parking spots.

HORRIBLE!!! I usually check well for bed bugs but we had somewhere to be after checking in. we got back to the room late and my partner woke me up at 3am to tell me he thought he was seeing BUGS CRAWLING BY ME. turned on the lights and there clearly was an INFESTATION in the room. I took one in a cup to front desk and explained the situation and the worker cringed and said “thats disgusting” we got a new room that was seemingly okay but the actual MANAGER WAS NEVER AVAILABLE and we were only offered compensation for the one night we switched rooms. Mind you we had to carry all our things from the 5th to 2nd floor at 3am!! This is SO concerning considering the amount of family’s and CHILDREN i saw staying here. The most shocking part about this is that the room would have had to not be cleaned thoroughly for SO long for it to accumulate into the way we saw it. another big concern about this is the all the headboards in the room are made of wood, the floors are hardwood and the wallpaper was peeling everywhere. there are too many places for these things to hide, the place needs to replace all its wooden furniture and have a proper extermination done to get rid of this which I do not see them investing in given the way my situation was handled. there are many other cleaner hotels in the area with the good enough prices, no reason to stay here ever :/

Been here three times always clean and quiet and convenient

Bed linens were covered with questionable stains. I was put in an underground room which I thought was kind of strange. Staff was very nice and check in was easy. It was giving motel 8 vibes.

Rooms were cleaned facilities were well done. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

First room was dirty and filled with mold Second room was OK went to breakfast, and there were roaches in the food in the coffee and crawling on the table

Stayed here for 3 nights and on the last day woke up with a bed bug crawling next to my face and two big bites on my arm. When I checked out, I showed pictures of the bug to the front desk who told me to email the photos to the hotel (which I did) and was told that I’d get a call from the management. They haven’t called me yet. Disappointing to spend almost $800 to stay somewhere for 3 nights and leave with bed bug bites and no follow up. Save yourself the pain and stay elsewhere.

Check in began at 3, I got there at 3:15 but had to wait until 3:30 for any staff to appear. The member of staff was helpful enough but couldn’t answer a simple question about breakfast. I asked if any dairy free milk was provided he didn’t know. If the bread contained milk and he didn’t know. I decided it wasn’t worth waking up early to try a breakfast I couldn’t eat. I had to change rooms twice as the first two were dirty and had a weird smell. The third room wasn’t very clean either but by that point I was too tired. The bed was comfortable so that’s a positive. No staff helped me with the main doors when coming or going even though I’m disabled and use a crutch. I wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel was rundown and old. Very little parking unless you count the sidewalk. Rooms were small and unrenovated. Smelled like smoke.

The property was cleanish but the bathroom needed a complete wipe down. There were not enough parking spaces for the guest and breakfast had zero fruit and again not enough tables and very dirty dinning room.

I really enjoyed my stay. My only problem was the cleaning of the room. The sheets had dry blood spots but as a traveler, i always bring my own blanket. There was candy wrappers on the floor and left over coffee inside the maker. But overrall, the staff was excellent and it was quiet. It was just those little mistakes, but overrall i will come back.

Nice location, nice hotel rooms kinda small and no secure safety lock in doors and all what goes on inside people can hear in the hallway that’s the only cons

Baby making noises starting at 7 AM outside our room. Very small rooms; no closet. Bed was comfortable and shower was quite good.

Bathroom is in good condition. Chose hotel due to fairly close proximity to brooklyn cruise port and is good for an overnight stay. But there is very limited dining options in the area. If you are staying in new york for a couple of days manhattan may be a better choice.

This is hotel to stay for two or three days at the most. It’s design to have a place to sleep. The only person that The room was clean just the bare necessities provided. The desk area was big enough to place a iPad but barely large enough to hold a laptop. It does come with a micro wave small refrigerator and a coffee maker. There are no dressers to store clothing, just a hanger area. This hotel is near public transportation and right near a great shopping mall. For a short stay yes l recommend this hotel. Prices are reasonable.

Excellent location close to some great restaurants and 36th St. subway stop. The room itself was fine besides a very strong pot odor, but we were able to mostly air it out. Overall, it was a very baseline place to stay, but it was quiet and the bathroom was a great size. Also the microwave and fridge was a big bonus in addition to the small parking lot (we had no issues securing a spot). I think it was a little overpriced for what it is, but it was also the holiday season so par for the course.

We were looking for a quiet, clean place to sleep after spending each day out on the town with family in Brooklyn. This place was great, even accommodating several requests from us (early check in, extra pillows). It's basic, not fancy, but we felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. Will use this hotel on our next trip.

Staff were courteous and helpful, I left before breakfast but my stay was quiet, accommodations including parking were fine.

Great customer services, the bed was comfortable, give a 4 for clean because the room had a particular ordor and not sure if it was what they use to clean but overall the room/sheets & bathroom was clean, definitely will recommend and stay again.

Customer service wasnt great. No room service unless you request it. Not very friendly. But that seems common with newyorkers

I asked to change the room 3 times during check in - each room smelled of residual cigarette smoke. My room had clogged shower that I discovered the next morning. Coffee machine (basic) K-cup - not working. No safe in the room. Each night (midnight, 2am snd around 4am) there was a truck loading/unloading action, so no sleep at all. Breakfast. Just skip it. Not even basic stuff other than bagels and coffee of questionable freshness. upon check out I asked for a folio. The young lady refused to give the print out. When I asked for her manager - she said “unavailable”. When I said “I am never coming to this hotel again”, she responded “It’s okay”. In the positive: parking on prem on “first come - fiest serve”. steer clear from this “hotel”. They took the word “crappy” to the whole new level. I wish I could take my money back.

The L Hotel staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean. Keep in mind that while there is free parking, it’s first come first served.

First night found out the blanket very smelly, change next day still smell. Third night at 4:00am next door women fighting and swearing real loud and sounds like someone threw the luggage down the stairwell. It last about 10 mins and no security or staff showed up or call the police. My wife and I just so frightened inside the room to wait until everything turn quiet. But that’s not end yet, next morning after I took shower and dry my hair and I found a quarter size blonde hairball on my towel ( but we are Asians with black hair), so I brought the towel down to front desk and show to the staff and the answer is the towel had been washed. I told him of course I knew the towel was washed and folded but the hair ball is stick on the towel. I don’t have any more to say, but this is the worst place I ever stay and I travel 3-4 trips every year

The neighborhood around the hotel was a little sketchy. Restaurants were close by and within walking distance, however, there was concern over our safety, when out and about.

Stayed in the area for a concert happening at Barclays Center. Very close to 36th st station, which was an express train stop. A no big fills hotels. Basic rooms which were fine for a quick trip to NYC. Decently sized bathroom. Plenty of little cafes and restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, along with the Industry City complex right there.

We loved the location for the event we were attending at Industry City. Walkable area and the Citi bikes were a convenient way to get around. The room served its purpose and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Lots of reviews mention the lack of items included in the free breakfast but we never even made it down in time. So many other better local options in the area.

Clean, smoke-free, comfortable, metro station nearby, very accessible for getting anywhere, good place to stay.

Competitive priced hotel in Brooklyn with light breakfast included. 4 blocks from 36th St. subway station, where the R line connects directly with the Battery Park, and World Trade Center. Taking R line to Jay St. station, offer a transfer point to the A line to JFK airport.

It's a clean hotel overall. It was a bit too far south, though—plenty of local places to eat in, a strange but safe neighborhood.

Bedroom was clean. Breakfast was very minimal.all carbs no protein.

The breakfast wasn’t the best there was no protein options just waffles, bagels, and cereal. If you’re looking for a cheaper place not in Manhattan then go to the L Hotel. My wife and I basically just slept here and then took the subway that was a 7 minute walk away to Manhattan to do our things.

Breakfast? Bread & Jelly waffle coffee -& plain little muffins. If you call that breakfast we'll there it is! Staff was good. Room clean business friendly NO!!!

Please don't make my mistake - don't be caught by phrase "breakfast included". Bread, waterish coffee, quick oatmeal - It's hard to call it "breakfast". The room is okay. Overall, the price is too high for the quality you get.
