Charming Villa in Resende with Private Pool

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in this very large and beautiful home. It’s perfect for a family who just wants to retreat to tranquility. The home is a short walking distance to Resende town with welcoming people. We enjoyed celebrations there in April and a wonderful dinner at Bengalos restaurant and great pastries in the morning at a cafe. I wish it was warmer in April because the pool was so clean and inviting! We did sit outside on the patio with a glass of wine with a gorgeous view and beautiful sunset. Definitely a wonderful home to retreat to!

5 star accommodations with a host, Manuel, who is welcoming and very willing to help out in any way and spoke English for us. The home was large and clean and most of all tranquil after a 3 day stay in Porto. Manuel greeted us with some sweets when we arrived and showed us around. Pool was beautiful and so clean but it was April so we didn’t swim. Grounds were beautiful with flowers and views were breathtaking. Location to town for restaurants, cafes and stores is a short and fun walk. My husband and I enjoyed walking a short distance walk to Resende town center to participate in their April 23 celebration and the April 25 celebration that Manuel provided information for us. The people in town were so wonderful too. Mornings you can open your windows to birds singing and roosters crowing. Evenings sit outside with a glass of wine watching the sun set and beautiful view. We drove to Pinhao which is about an hour drive to do some hiking and wine tasting so there’s plenty of things to do besides enjoying the tranquil and restful time in Resende. Again, accommodations and the view was perfect as well as the host!
