Great B&B/Inn Great Breakfast. Local to a lot of Jersey Shore Options. IE: Sandy Hook, Twin Lights, Etc Needs some repair on exterior, but interior is Fine and well kept.

Great location, was an easy walk to Main Ave for dinner or Asbury Park boardwalk. Right by the beach, they offered free beach towels which was a bonus. Delicious breakfast served every morning on the screened in porch by the very friendly staff. Beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was great, too. Thoughtful touches like ice already made in the freezer. Only downside was since it’s a dog-friendly hotel, we could hear barking next door to us til late one night, and the walls are quite thin. But otherwise, 10/10, we will definitely try to come again for a beach weekend!

This charming inn is very close to the beach and boardwalk. Our room was very clean and finely appointed. One of the highlights is the complimentary breakfast which was very tasty and served on the wrap around porch. The staff were very kind to us and to our pup and they made our stay comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend!

The only thing that I can say needs improvement is the temperature of the rooms was very chilly. The bed covers were very thin and there were no other blankets in the room. A warmer blanket and comforter would be great. This was voiced by multiple people at breakfast.

Ocean View is a charming, restored Victorian (actually, TWO Victorians as we found out) set a quick walk from the shore and the Asbury Park boardwalk. Our room was in the building across the street from the one pictured. While the room was "cosy," it didn't feel small, and it and the bathroom were redone in classic colors and appointments. No view to speak of, but we were only there for one night and spent most of our time touring the boardwalk and the shopping park in Ocean Grove. Breakfast was in the main building and offered a variety of treats. The hotel is set on a beautiful, broad expanse that leads to the ocean and the boardwalk. If you're a Springsteen fan, you owe it to yourself to walk the full length, up through and past the convention center to find all the locations in the song "Sandy." The only caveats are parking and accessibility. Parking is on the street, so be sure to read the signs so you don't get a ticket. Also, there is no elevator and the stairs are from another era: steep and narrow. Getting your bags up and down might prove challenging if you have a disability or are out of shape. We were fortunate to travel during the off-season. According to some of the locals, the whole place becomes a zoo during the summer. Would gladly stay again for the charm and the location.

Ocean View Inn overall was a nice place to stay. However, check-in, breakfast and ice were all across the street at their sister property - not terribly convenient. The room was small but pleasant with a good sized bathroom. Beware though! If you have limited mobility, think twice before booking. Our room was on the 3rd floor, up a long, very steep staircase to the 2nd floor. Then two more short staircases to the 3rd floor. I booked through Expedia so I didn’t know which floor our room was on. If I were to book again, I would call the property directly. My bed was fine but my mother said her bed was uncomfortable. Also, the wall right next to her bed was quite hot. And all night I could hear a beeping sound. Our host was helpful and pleasant and there’s a cute sitting room on the first floor. It’s also a 2-minute walk to the beach and only five or six minutes walking time to downtown. For the room we got and its location on the 3rd floor, it was a moderate value for the money. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

My wife & I celebrated our wedding anniversary and our experience was great! The staff was so nice and welcoming! Our room was clean and quaint. Check-in was easy and quick everyone around was so friendly, I definitely would reccomend and come back!

Inhad a great experience! The room was clean and comfortable, super close to the beach, and everyone there was kind and pleasant. The free breakfast is fantastic and its peaceful to be able to sit overlooking the ocean while enjoying breakfast and coffee

The inn was beautiful The room was clean and comfortable and all supplies were available or brought to us when requested. The breakfast was delicious with various choices and the coffee was excellent The location is prime. Walking distance to everything especially the beach Had dinner both nights at restaurants on Cookman Ave. delicious and lots of shops for strolling in and out of Oceanview was a great place to stay for a romantic, fun and serene weekend Highly recommend!!! We will be back 😊❤️

Charming old-fashioned hotel in a beautiful enclave of older houses. It overlooks a quiet green very near the beach with a short walk to restaurants and amenities in nearby Asbury Park. Check in was very easy. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The room was uncomfortably warm at night due to abnormal warm temps outside but the service was great to get a window AC unit put in late at night. Very easy to walk to asbury park and the beach. Nice quiet area.

A lovely Victorian home. Small room but very cozy. The beach and boardwalk is one block away. We could see the ocean from our window. Lots of beautiful Victorian houses to see and walkable to shops. Beautiful quiet area in Belmar/Asbury Park area. Fantastic breakfasts!!

The amenities were excellent- the room was great. The temperature could not be regulated, it was March, but the room was too warm. I told mgt but nothing was done. Thank god we had 2 windows to open and a ceiling fan. Breakfast was amazing, people were amazining. I would definitely go again.

The room was small but pleasant with a good sized bathroom. Beware though! If you have limited mobility, think twice before booking. Our room was on the 3rd floor, up a long, very steep staircase to the 2nd floor. Then two more short staircases to the 3rd floor. I booked through Expedia so I didn’t know which floor our room was on. If I were to book again, I would call the property directly. My bed was fine but my mother said her bed was uncomfortable. Also, the wall right next to her bed was quite hot. And all night I could hear a beeping sound. Our host was helpful and pleasant and there’s a cute sitting room on the first floor. It’s also a 2-minute walk to the beach and only five or six minutes walking time to downtown. For the room we got and its location on the 3rd floor, it was a moderate value for the money. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

It was a little hard to find the property. Lack of house of visible house numbers is a little challenge. It took about 45 minutes to get into the room because I had to call the on call manager, then he had to call someone else to get the keys. Otherwise, great area and building. Great breakfast.

Love this property and the location. The room we had this time was a bit small, and unfortunately there was some sort of road work going on right outside our window until after 11 pm (not the hotel's fault of course). Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, but the people serving it were weird and not especially friendly.

The breakfast was delicious with various choices and the coffee was excellent The location is prime. Walking distance to everything especially the beach Had dinner both nights at restaurants on Cookman Ave. delicious and lots of shops for strolling in and out of Oceanview was a great place to stay for a romantic, fun and serene weekend Highly recommend!!! We will be back 😊❤️

Very nice property. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and nice central location. There's not much to do in the immediate area. That makes it very peaceful, but it also meant that I ended up walking to Asbury Park most evenings.

Charming old-fashioned hotel in a beautiful enclave of older houses. It overlooks a quiet green very near the beach with a short walk to restaurants and amenities in nearby Asbury Park. Ocean View is a charming, restored Victorian (actually, TWO Victorians as we found out) set a quick walk from the shore and the Asbury Park boardwalk. Our room was in the building across the street from the one pictured. While the room was "cosy," it didn't feel small, and it and the bathroom were redone in classic colors and appointments. No view to speak of, but we were only there for one night and spent most of our time touring the boardwalk and the shopping park in Ocean Grove. Breakfast was in the main building and offered a variety of treats. The hotel is set on a beautiful, broad expanse that leads to the ocean and the boardwalk. If you're a Springsteen fan, you owe it to yourself to walk the full length, up through and past the convention center to find all the locations in the song "Sandy." The only caveats are parking and accessibility. Parking is on the street, so be sure to read the signs so you don't get a ticket. Also, there is no elevator and the stairs are from another era: steep and narrow. Getting your bags up and down might prove challenging if you have a disability or are out of shape. We were fortunate to travel during the off-season. According to some of the locals, the whole place becomes a zoo during the summer. Would gladly stay again for the charm and the location.
