B&B Hotel Hildesheim

Booked via Hotel.com and received a message from B&B about the possibility to check in beforehand if I send back my data or I could also do it myself at the computer if I arrived after 23:00. Wrote back with my data but didn’t receive any new message or a code for checking in. Reception was supposed to be open until 23:00 but when we arrived at 22:50 it was closed. The self check in didn’t work as the reservation number wasn’t sent to me by B&B and wasn’t the same as the travel number send by Hotels.com when booked. Luckily I found an employee after 10-15 minutes who hadn’t left. He wanted me to check in myself but after explaining it was impossible, he could find the right reservation number in the hotel system so I could check myself in. If I had arrived a few minutes later, I wouldn’t have had any way of checking in and get access to my room. The room was clean and well organized for a family of four but it was too close a call I didn’t get to experience it.

Room was clean on arrival you have to pre book the cleaning service via a website. Went to reception and said about having room cleaned and they said you need to give a days notice on website. Absolute farce but by complaining they took our room number and cleaned it BUT they took away some crisps and went through my wallet. They didn’t take anything but the English notes were stuffed back in the wrong way round to how I always put them in. Free parking on the street that they fail to mention anywhere and try charging you €12 per day to park. Overall a bit scammy but a decent hotel.

Easy to access with parking for 12 Euro with the possibility of charging an electric car (separate changes apply). It was perfect for a good night's sleep on the way through Germany.

Clean, practical hotel. Good location.

Excellent hotel for stay or layover in Hildesheim. Easy and fast checkin with friendly staff. Parkinglot in the back of Hotel (Paid though). Hotel seems new/newly refurbished or very well maintained. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable.
