door to room would not shut without slamming/pushing closed. only one elevator operating. sprinklers spray vehicles, concrete and asphalt instead of grass. all cold drinks at breakfast were hot. king room was incredibly small. the soap/shampoo/conditioner is good quality. good water pressure and hot water shower. hbo premium channels. coffee is good. breakfast is good. ac cold. walking distance to stores and restaurants. hotel itself appears clean.

There was an issue that was between Expedia and the hotel. However Lexi ant the front office accommodated our stay while the issue was resolved she was very welcoming and caring. Also the hotel offers board games, pool table which are very entertaining for the kids which the kids loved. Hotel is clean and quiet also parking is safe.

Loved that it was uncarpeted. We had some down time one evening so had fun playing pool & giant Jenga on the outdoor patio that also had a fire pit. The whole place had a young, vibrant, happening vibe. The egg omelets for breakfast were fabulous, but as I’m gluten intolerant was unable to sample the bagels or muffins which looked yummy. Shampoo & conditioner dispensed product better than I’d brought with me. Will search out other Tru by Hiltons on my next out of town adventure

Very convenient location as I was working at Clemson for a couple of days. About a 6 minute drive to campus. Plenty of food options in the area and the workout facility was great.

Very clean, great location, secure. Hannah, receptionist, was very efficient, helpful, and friendly. Clean rooms. Only wish there was a pool. Close to Clemson’s campus. Will stay again

Everything was great about this hotel, they even have a Peloton and the gym is great . My only complaint is the AC, it was warm and humid even when air was all the way down. The AC gym was the same .

The hotel its self was great. But we were not able to check in until almost 5:00pm & our check in time was supposed to be 3:00pm and we almost missed our event due to this.

The property was nice and close to a lot of places to eat that are walking distance. The room was comfortable, my concern was the floors were not properly cleaned and the walls needed a fresh coat of paint. Walls had a few markings that made some areas on the wall appear dirty. Breakfast area was clean and food was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We were spending the night just prior to a local family vacation. we have stayed at this location before but it is definitely not as clean as it used to be. The floors were sticky and you can see that the furniture is needing professional cleaning. The elevators and elevator lobbies were dirty and the window shade in our room was broken. The floor in the room was also sticky. The beds were comfortable.

Over all stay was great. Loved the look and feel of this Hotel. Only complaint I have is I found hairs (plenty) in my bed sheets. My bed had not been cleaned and it was made up. I had a king room and no other room was available when I found my bed. Front desk offered to change my bed.

Air conditioning smelled like an old sour washcloth, but we didn’t know until we were showered and ready for bed. Shower had orange mildew/mold all around the. Bottom and on the small shelf. We felt safe and the beds felt clean. Not sure if I would return for a future visit. Breakfast wasn’t as fabulous as advertised. It was average at best.

Everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful. The rooms are just too small and tight even for 2 people. Aside from that the room was clean and front desk to housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating.

Uncomfortable due to not having any seating in the room except the bed. No where to place clothing except a very tiny closet. Lighting in the room is poor, the only lighting is at the door and bathroom, no microwave. Pillow case had stains. Wood floors sticky from humidity in the room. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and the hotel is very quiet after 10 pm which was very nice. Maybe if I had a different room but there were none available.

Located in a good location. The unit was quiet and safe, with easy parking. The mattress was good and the sheets were amazing. I haven't traveled much lately, but I was used to having a coffee pot in the room and a chest of drawers or something similar to place private clothing such as underwear in. They did have coffee in the lobby. I would rent there again.

Front desk staff is always so nice and helpful!! This Tru location is consistently good and our absolute go to. Have stayed many times as our child attends Clemson Univ. Can count on it being clean and have everything we need. Great location, near great shopping. Love staying here!

Have stayed here multiple times as daughter attends Clemson University. Had a problem with the a/c unit and unfortunately had to change rooms but Hannah, the front desk host, was absolutely wonderful in dealing with the situation. So friendly, compassionate and professional. She deserves a raise :)

Hotel was nice and clean but the beds were horrible. If they are going to have platform beds then you got to have a good mattress. I was also charged twice for the incidental fee. I called hotel and was told manager would call me back, still no call back. It’s not about the money which I’m sure will be released but just to know why would be nice.

Loved the hotel. Only downside is the front desk wasn’t available during night time. Waited about 15 minutes so that someone could hand me a couple extra towels. Other than that it was pretty good

The staff here are top tier! We had to be at a meet at the university by 6am and they made breakfast early so our kids could eat before the meet! Genuine care for their guest! Love it here!

Clean and comfortable. Seems newer than some of the other Clemson area properties. Good water pressure and updated bathroom. Allows dogs and seems walkable to Death Valley. Across the street from Clemsons rec area by the lake.

I loved everything about this hotel and I’m a person that travels often. It’s a very practical - yet modern hotel and the stay was wonderful. The self serve a la carte breakfast was even delicious and I ordered Uber eats when I wanted lunch. This is a great stay in the Clemson area, definitely recommend. Also it a Hilton brand, new and improved.

Rooms were not ready for check in 3 hours past the normal check in time of 3:00 due to “short staffing.” 1 of the 2 elevators was “out of service “ during a very busy college move in weekend . Ran out of things during breakfast including coffee. We won’t be back.

Property was conveniently located between Seneca and Pickens. Location was walking distance to several dining options (Longhorns, Tipsy Taco, Iso Iso Ramen, Popeyes, Chipotle) and Starbucks. Which is good, because the free breakfast (typical sausage, instant eggs, cereal, bagels, etc.) is on the low end of average. I'm sure it's not their fault as it is probably a corporate/vendor/sourcing issue. Just walk over to Starbucks.
