Beautiful property with stunning views. The room was enormous with a hot tub on the patio. A little out of the way of the hustle and bustle but a lovely area Would recommend getting the bus up and down to Amalfi

As a person who stays in 10+ hotels per year, this place ranks near the top. It’s a beautiful hotel with incredible views. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The complimentary breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit, cheeses and pastries. The customer service is top notch with the English speaking owners/front desk agents genuinely caring about each and every guest. Highly recommend this place.

Vi bodde här under två dagar i juli med våra två barn. Våra rum var rena och fräscha och utsikten var helt fantastisk. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Vi gick trapporna ner till hamnen i Amalfi och det funkade bra med våra barn ( 7 och 10 år gamla). Frukosten var superbra, över förväntan. Barnen tyckte att poolen var ett plus. Vi kom med bil över bergen från Neapel och det funkade bra med parkering vid hotellet.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour , ce qui est compliqué c'est de s'y rendre impensable à pieds avec valises c'est 1000 marches. Pour descendre c'est faisable. Sinon prendre l'autobus pour Pontone. Pour la chambre c'est tres beau et très propre. Piscine avec eau chaude trrs agréable quand on revient !

This hotel was well appointed with amenities, and absolutely gorgeous. Views were stunning! The restaurant affiliated with the hotel was fantastic. Every staff member was incredibly hospitable and so kind and helpful. Lovely people! There are many stairs to get to the hotel and back to the street, as it is literally built into the mountains. Worth the walk for sure, but can be challenging for those with physical difficulty walking or climbing stairs. Definitely beautiful and serene. Nice sized balconies too for enjoying that view. The breakfast provided was typical Italian breakfast food - coffee, pastries/breads, cheeses, sliced meat, yoghurt, fruit. They also provided cereals, milk, and juice. Taxis are more expensive since Pontone (the city there) is remote. Buses come by fairly regularly, and the stop is about 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. There are stairs down the mountain to Amalfi too - about a 40 minute walk down. Google maps had the correct walking directions. Not a lot of options for dining in Pontone, as it’s a small town, but the two we tried were both excellent - Ristorante San Giovanni (past the click tower and to the right, very close!) and the restaurant on the premises (I think it was called Ristorante Antico Borgia.) Pictures show view from balcony and stairs (only a fraction of them) to Amalfi.

The hotel had a beautiful view of Amalfi! It was very serene and the pool, though small, was well-done. The walk to Amalfi was 25 minutes all downhill. We took the bus back close to town (10 minute walk to hotel). Note there are many steps you will have to walk up to reach the hotel which may be challenging for elderly or people with small children. Internet did not function well so not ideal for telework. We have visited the area many times and this was a nice change of pace. We’d visit again.

Pro: Beautiful view, wonderful staff, good room. Con: frustrating at arrive at 9pm with no dedicated parking and needing to haul luggage up a large hill to the actual resort, with limited instruction. Limited food options within walking distance.

Beautiful place! And the staff kept it so clean. It is a ways from the main area but we learned on the second day there is a bus stop 5 mins from there that is very easy to take back and forth. The breakfast is always very yummy- and we loved the coffee. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to one day come back

What a special place! High above Amalfi town, Postpone is a quiet village with breathtaking views of the surroundings. We stayed here because of a wedding in Scala. It's a not so bad 25 minute walk downhill to town, the walk up would take about an hour. The room was bright and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but well served and the staff will make you coffee as you wish. The terrace was lovely and we could have sat outside for hours sipping our coffee or wine and enjoying the view.

Breakfast was continental buffet style with some cooked eggs as an option - delicious pastries & coffee. Can’t fault this hotel although access from Amalfi town was tough late afternoon with not enough buses and little concept of queuing! Taxi was extortionate although in part due to fees the drivers have to pay each time to enter the town. Council should do better.

The hotel had a beautiful view of Amalfi! It was very serene and the pool, though small, was well-done. The walk to Amalfi was 25 minutes all downhill. We took the bus back close to town (10 minute walk to hotel). Note there are many steps you will have to walk up to reach the hotel which may be challenging for elderly or people with small children. Internet did not function well so not ideal for telework. We have visited the area many times and this was a nice change of pace. We’d visit again.

The staff was amazing! Very nice and always had smiles on their faces. There are stairs and hills getting to this property and that part is ny foot as cars cannot get up to the reservation area. We managed, but I wished that I packed lighter. Also, you want to get the bus app and use that to get into Amalfi. Taxis are too unpredictable and very expensive.

The listing said the hotel was accessible by foot from Almafi however the path to get there was pitch black and halfway through the 1.5 hr walk the path had been closed off. I felt unsafe and exhausted. We never made it there and they refused to even provide a partial refund. I’m sure it’s beautiful but don’t stay here if you want to spend time in Amalfi.

As a person who stays in 10+ hotels per year, this place ranks near the top. It’s a beautiful hotel with incredible views. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The complimentary breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit, cheeses and pastries. The customer service is top notch with the English speaking owners/front desk agents genuinely caring about each and every guest. Highly recommend this place.

We were very pleased and happy to have stayed at this beautiful hotel. Ida and Gina's service was excellent, they are super nice, friendly, and provided us with valuable information that helped us throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The ocean view, the pool, and the comfort of the rooms are excellent.

We stayed only one night, lovely view and friendly helpful service. Overall great value, tasty cappuccino and simple breakfast. Hopped in the hot tub at night. I’d recommend arriving before nightfall ( uphill narrow roads ) also there was many stairs so I’d recommend something more accessible if you’re not mobile but was not an issue for us at all.

Nice room, very tasteful. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. However, getting to the hotel is a challenge. Taxi is 70 eu one way each time. Bus is difficult to catch and limits you mobility significantly.

Great spot lovely views. The staff are very friendly. When you get to the Piazza there are a few steps up and you go to the left. We walked down the stair way to Amalfi and the lemon experience. Get the bus back as it's not too far to walk.

Very neat and clean. staff is very nice. Everything was so good the only problem is it’s far from amalfi coast hard to go there with the luggage cos it’s 1080 steps to go down to amalfi otherwise it was good.

This hotel was well appointed with amenities, and absolutely gorgeous. Views were stunning! The restaurant affiliated with the hotel was fantastic. Every staff member was incredibly hospitable and so kind and helpful. Lovely people! There are many stairs to get to the hotel and back to the street, as it is literally built into the mountains. Worth the walk for sure, but can be challenging for those with physical difficulty walking or climbing stairs. Definitely beautiful and serene. Nice sized balconies too for enjoying that view. The breakfast provided was typical Italian breakfast food - coffee, pastries/breads, cheeses, sliced meat, yoghurt, fruit. They also provided cereals, milk, and juice. There are stairs down the mountain to Amalfi too - about a 40 minute walk down. Google maps had the correct walking directions. Breakfast was continental buffet style with some cooked eggs as an option - delicious pastries & coffee. Can’t fault this hotel although access from Amalfi town was tough late afternoon with not enough buses and little concept of queuing! Taxi was extortionate although in part due to fees the drivers have to pay each time to enter the town. Council should do better.

Beautiful place! And the staff kept it so clean. It is a ways from the main area but we learned on the second day there is a bus stop 5 mins from there that is very easy to take back and forth. The breakfast is always very yummy- and we loved the coffee. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to one day come back

Vi bodde här under två dagar i juli med våra två barn. Våra rum var rena och fräscha och utsikten var helt fantastisk. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Vi gick trapporna ner till hamnen i Amalfi och det funkade bra med våra barn ( 7 och 10 år gamla). Frukosten var superbra, över förväntan. Barnen tyckte att poolen var ett plus. Vi kom med bil över bergen från Neapel och det funkade bra med parkering vid hotellet.
Vi bodde här under två dagar i juli med våra två barn. Våra rum var rena och fräscha och utsikten var helt fantastisk. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. It was a lovely hotel. We came here for our honeymoon and we loved our stay. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The local kittens outside the hotel were a plus we were not expecting! The staff kept our room clean when it needed it. Although we didn’t using the items in the mini bar, they are reasonably priced. Breakfast was always well prepared in the morning and they will serve you cappuccino upon request. Bring your own towel for the pool, otherwise you’ll have to buy or rent one from the hotel. The stairs to Amalfi or Ravello are no joke so prepare to burn off the calories you gain from the local restaurants. The WiFi is not the strongest but it was a nice way to disconnect if that’s what you need. The local restaurants in Pontone are very good and you’ll not be disappointed with their services. The scenery from our room’s patio was beautiful and unmatched. They do not have a shuttle service but have information to a local taxi service who’ll help you get to/from your hotel. Overall, we loved it here and would stay again. Highly recommended.

Hotel a poucos minutos de Amalfi ( é possível ir a pé por uma escada) incrivelmente aconchegante e acolhedor. A limpeza é impecável, os quartos enormes e muito bem conservados e decorados com tema local (um charme a mais). Os funcionários são super prestativos e o café da manhã muito bom. Localizado em uma pequena vila charmosa na montanha possui restaurante e pizzaria a poucos metros e com otima comida. Valeu super a pena, voltaria com certeza!
Hotel a poucos minutos de Amalfi ( é possível ir a pé por uma escada) incrivelmente aconchegante e acolhedor. La ubicación es algo complicada ya que las opciones de transporte son limitadas a Amalfi u otras zonas aledañas. Para ir a pie por las escaleras debes tener muy buena condición física. El transporte público queda a unos 500 mts pero con frecuencia muy limitada.
