I’ve been enjoying the Hampton maid for breakfast for over 20 years. This is the first time I had a chance to stay and enjoy the hotel itself. It was exactly what I expected. I love the grounds and the room was so clean. You’re able to park right outside of your room for convenience. I will definitely be making another visit for a longer stay.

Excellent property with an amazing restaurant. Lovely rooms with a patio & hammock to relax. A nice little pool and a playground for kids to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Great location with a short drive to America’s #1 rated beach, Cooper’s Beach. The hotel offers discounted day pass to some other beaches as well - do check it out!

We stayed in a second floor room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and it was beautiful - both the room and the property. My only complaint is a small one. There is a window above the sliding glass door that, due to the nature of being high above in the Cathedral ceiling, can't be covered. Therefore, I was woken up by the sun way too early for my tastes. 😁

Love staying at the Hampton maid. We left how cute and quaint the grounds were and had a beautiful pool and grass area with a playground. Our room was very spacious and clean. And it was a short walk to the marina. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but heard it was very good.

Check in: The gentleman at the front desk last night was so pleasant. He gave us all of the necessary information without rushing through it. The room: is nice. No frills. Exactly as advertised. Our kids are outside in the play area as I write this. Theyre having a great time, playing with other children. Dining: We had some really nice drinks and tapas as the restaurant last night. The owner was very pleasant. The staff was very welcoming. Pool: Its a little drafty, so we're staying away from the pool, but it looks clean and nice. Ehh: My one complaint is that the sheets and pillows felt like they were wet when we checked in. As if they didn't dry all they way in the dryer. Overall: Its a REALLY nice experience and we would definitely book again.

I loved my 2-nighr stay at Hampton Maid. The hotel located in a nice area with lots of greanery around. Beautiful view from the patio/balcony. Very comfy beds, clean rooms. Drinking water is complimentary.

Such a beautiful property, lots of trees, lovely landscaping. They keep Crassula in pots on all of the porches as long as weather permits. The room I stayed in (double queen) was very spacious. Wood beamed ceiling with a ceiling fan, walk in shower. Loved the restaurant that was open for breakfast daily. Open for dinner Tuesday - Saturday while I was there. It's still family owned and run after 69 years. Great dining options all around, and lots to see and do on the island - although you need to keep island traffic in mind - it's kind of astounding. My only regret is that it's so far away from me. I'd love to make this a regular travel destination.

The photos do not represent current condition of property, which is old and a bit dated. There was a strange smell to the rooms—musty. The bed linens were clean, but everything else felt too old to want to use. Breakfast started at 8, so we couldn’t eat, as that was too late for us. And they could not provide us with a receipt for our stay.

Have stayed at this property a few times. Was a nice stay previously. However, this time we stayed in Room #25 for the first time. We stayed for two nights @ $500 per night. The bathroom shower did not have hot water the last night. Additionally, the bathroom had a sewer odor. The walls are paper thin. Could actually hear a cough, a sneeze, etc. from the guests in the next rooms. Was very disappointed.

Clean and comfortable—that’s all I ask for. I don’t need luxe baubles or finishes, but what sets the Hampton Maid apart is its friendly and efficient staff that make you feel welcome. Not just that, but they probably have the best restaurant in the area, with delicious offerings made with the freshest ingredients and done with inventiveness and flair while remaining down-to-earth. The water pressure could be higher, but nevertheless we would stay here again the next time we’re in the Hamptons.

We booked the Junior Suite at The Hampton Maid and it was wonderful! So much space, modern and extremely comfortable! The front desk was helpful and dining room for breakfast delish! Highly recommend if in the Hampton Bays area...we hope to be back and will stay here again!

This property was amazing! I took my wife here recently for her birthday. The property was immaculate our room was inside the WINDMILL. We ate at the restaurant R’Aire amazing food and Chef was very hospitable, welcoming, just really down to earth warm person. We, will definitely make this place a destination location on a regular bases.

We also had dinner at R.AIRE one evening and it was also wonderful. Chef came and spoke to us. All staff were so nice and friendly. The grounds are lovely as well. The location is also a great base for exploring both the North and South forks. Highly recommend!
