Stayed 2 nights

Amenities are good, facilities useful, rooms & Building are clean. We reserved a King suite in August for a wedding in October. Check in was simple enough however we were given a room with 2 queens. Told front desk. Gave us a small "goodie bag" filled with snacks and drinks as an apology. No harm, no foul. Later told us our King room was ready so we moved out. However the cleaning crew was still cleaning the room. Back to front desk. They apologized up & down. Came with us to ensure the room was alright. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the room was not good. The room was consistently hotter than the hotel hallway by a good amount. At this point I didn't care enough to complain again and wanted to relax. Thankfully we brought a fan so the heat was bearable. While this did not ruin our experience overall for 200+ CAD a night that should not have been how things went. Additionally they have a little flyer in your room advertising their bar in the lobby. My wife and I went down for happy hour and no one was manning the bar. Asked front desk. They said they "close the bar for the season". There is nothing anywhere indicating this. No date range posted ex: "Bar is closed from Oct 1rst - March 1rst" anything like that at all. Very disappointing. They are frankly losing income on this as well as there were at LEAST 3 more large groups of people staying at the hotel for a wedding. Young people like ourselves. Looking for a drink or two. Easily could have made lots of money.

We stayed here for 1 night for a wedding at river’s edge in Paris. It was a quick uber ride from the venue and competitively priced. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was also very friendly and helpful
