Sandy Beach Resort by Rizos Resorts

From a child's view : It was a really nice place and I enjoyed staying there. I liked the different variety of foods at the main restaurant and the types of food at the other restaurants. I liked all the wild life and nature. I also liked the pools and the shows. I also liked the beach. There are lots of other places to go outside the hotel like Mavroudis Olive Oil Factory and the Aqua Land Water Park. It was a really nice holiday.

Große anlage. Die pools werden erst um 10 uhr aufgesperrt! Die Liegen sind schon leider um9 uhr alle abreserviert!!! Rundherum alles sauber die personal ist sehr bemüht

La struttura è molto bella e grande e si trova sulla spiaggia, il mare è molto bello. Ci sono 3 piscine, di cui una molto grande, 1 con gli scivoli, molto adatta ai bambini. Noi siamo stati benissimo con i bambini, l'unica pecca sono i letti che hanno i materassi troppo morbidi e il bagno che non ha un mobiletto per appoggiarci le cose. Il mangiare a buffet, le bevande e gli snack bar tutto magnifico. Gli ombrelloni in piscina e in spiaggia sono limitati, quindi bisogna alzarsi presto per trovare posti. La struttura si trova a 50 minuti in macchina dall'aeroporto, ma ne è valsa la pena perchè siamo stati molto bene e il mare è molto bello. In generale consiglio alle famiglie che si vogliono divertirsi in tranquillità. Ci sono divertimenti sia per bambini con Miniclub che adulti con spettacoli serali.

Struttura molto ampia che però pecca parecchio nell'organizzazione e soprattutto nella pulizia, sia delle camere che delle parti comuni. Per quanto riguarda le camere, erano piene di insetti e ragnatele e venivano pulite in modo molto superficiale dal personale addetto con il quale ho dovuto discutere per avere degli asciugamani puliti dopo 3 giorni di utilizzo. In sala da pranzo, considerata la quantità di persone che la occupava, ho trovato posate, piatti e tovagliette sporche. La spiaggia e il mare bellissimo sono il punto di forza del resort se non fosse che è difficoltoso trovare lettini e ombrelloni dopo le 9 del mattino poichè vengono occupati già dalla sera prima e nessuno controlla. Direi che potreste, anzi dovreste migliorare alcuni aspetti .

Highly relaxing week with access to a great beach. Nice and clean area, well kept with great food/drink served across the establishment. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The Entertainments team (especially Marvin and Vanessa) were extremely welcoming and friendly, hosting a large amount of classes and encouraging participation in the evening entertainment. Unfortunately I did not become further acquainted with more of them as they all seemed highly capable. Some areas of the property could do with refurbishment such as beds (will need a mattress topper provided by the Hotel), sun loungers and parasoles. Additionally making one of the pools an adults only area would be beneficial.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 days, a family of 5. We liked everything, especially the beach. It's perfect for children. The room was cleaned daily, and the food selection was large and varied. The staff was attentive and polite. There was a sewage smell at the exit of our block, which is perhaps the only downside. The hotel grounds and the beach are clean, they keep an eye on that. If only people didn't behave like pigs and leave their trash behind, it would be even better. The hotel deserves a solid four stars. It's perfect for families with children, but young couples might find it boring. Overall, we were satisfied and think we'll return again.

Outdated in some areas. Some very dirty sun loungers around largest pool. They don’t enforce rules around saving loungers; and all we’re normally gone by 9:30 latest. If you’re going to post notices around stating the rules, enforce them! Wouldn’t eat at the “special” one off restaurant again, the main buffet restaurant was far better, and pretty good, breakfast could be better, was cold early on as less people coming in so less turnover of food.

Upon arrival, everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the facility was spacious with a wide range of amenities.

Attention cet hôtel est signalé comme un 5 étoiles sur hotels.com et Expedia malheureusement dans la réalité c'est un 4 étoiles officiellement. Il n'en vaut même pas 4 mais plutôt 3. Un hôtel qui est vraiment sale partout et en mauvais état. Seul le jardin extérieur et les façades extérieures sont correctes. Le reste c'est vraiment moyen et sale. La nourriture n'y est pas bonne. Ce n'est pas du tout la cuisine grecque ni hospitalité aucun sourire de la part de tout le personnel de l'hôtel.

Bra vistelse! Fantastiskt bemötande och service när vi ankom 10 timmar innan check in eftersom i inte visste var vi skulle göra av oss... Bra städade rum och utrymmen det vi såg. Är ett mycket stort komplex, med väldigt mycket folk! Spec tyska, briter och östeuropeiska. Det finns fera affärer på området, så man behöver inte lämna resorten för något om man inte vill. Rikligt med mat på all inclusive, men ganska smaklöst. Hög ljudnivå i lobby och matsal. Fick plats på deras mindre, italienske restaurang en kväll, män även där var det hög ljudnivå (säkert mkt bättre för dom som fick sitta på altanen), och tyvärr lite smaklös mat, samt sämre grad av service än vi förväntade på en mindre restaurang. Gick till en extern restaurang vid stranden en kväll för att få lite lugn och ro och mer smakrik mat. MEN, våre barn var jättenöjda, så vi hade i det stora och hela ett mkt bra uppehåll!👍😃

Nur Maße statt Klasse !!! Bei über 2000 Gästen, kann man sich die drei Pools vorstellen, oft eher milchig und schaumig als sauber. Fitnessstudio ein absoluter Witz mit drei Laufbändern und zwei Sitzlaufbänder. Essen war das absolut billigste vom billigsten, viel Dose oder Fertigessen. Getränkeautomaten waren oft defekt oder Getränke ohne Kohlensäure. Sauberkeit in der Anlage war okay, die Zimmer wie in den Videos dargestellt leider überhaupt nicht. -Schimmel in den Duschen -Matratzen waren locker 20 Jahre alt und komplett durchgelegen - Steckdosen die aus der Wand schauten - Ameisen im dritten Stock - kaputter WC-Drücker im Bad, lief Tag & Nacht das Wasser. Für 14 Tage über 5k definitiv einfach viel zu teuer, leider auch wieder nur am schnellen Geld interessiert.

Hôtel propre, chambre spacieuse et propre. Buffet bon mais très répétitif. À côté d'une mer avec sable fin et propre. Un bonus pour l'hôtel car c'est la première fois que l'on va dans un hôtel où l'on ne peut pas réserver son transat à la piscine avec sa serviette, c'est top car cela permet d'avoir facilement de la place au cours de la journée et pas de transat réservé pour rien(si vous posez votre serviette trop tôt le matin, le staff l'enlève). Petit bémol, les cocktails avait trop un goût chimique mais surtout un gros bémol si vous y allez en voiture et non en bus, il y a aucun panneau de signalisation donc vous vous retrouvez vite perdu dans la pampa de Corfou.

We arrived at Sandy Beach Hotel after 10 pm May 26. We saw dead and live cockroaches; one escaped from the bathroom into the main area. The room looked ancient, beds were uncomfortable, and we woke with back and neck pain. A musty smell lingered even with windows wide open. Rust was visible throughout the resort. Every meal at the main restaurant was the same low-quality buffet with a foul odor. Juices, wine, and beer from dispensers were disgusting. Pool drinks were poor quality and premium options like mojitos and Aperol were not included in the all-inclusive plan. They claimed to run out of sparkling wine by morning, but that was false. Sunbeds, water slides, and pool stairs were filthy and unsafe for children. At the pool bar and nearby food area, staff had a terrible attitude when asked what was included. When we requested each pizza slice in a separate paper bag, they reacted poorly. This place does not deserve any stars. Calling it a five-star resort is misleading and turned our holiday into a nightmare. If we had known the ratings and reviews were fake, we would never have booked. The animation team made our daughter cry. All kids danced in a show and were told they'd receive surprises, but only Kids Club members got medals. Other resorts give candy, but here they gave nothing. Everything felt cheap: food was abysmal, drinks were terrible, and shows were low-budget. The stage was old plywood painted poorly. Even giving sweets after the disco was too much. No value.

Sandy Beach erbjöd en fantastisk vistelse. Huvudrestaurangen hade ett överflöd av mat att välja på. Barnen, som är lite selektiva, hade inte så mycket att välja på. Men jag kunde hitta protein till dem som gick ner. Rutschkanorna vid en av poolerna var en favorit hos barnen. Rummen städades varje dag 👌👌👌 Jag skulle definitivt åka tillbaka.

Certainly not 4-star luxury experience. Many things could have been overlooked, such as the old plastic cups for the bar, the disgusting drinks that are included with the all inclusive bar, the extremely loud music that is played on a loop right outside of your room at the pool, the people from the spa constantly walking around trying to upsell you while you're lying on your loungers attempting to relax.. but what can't be overlooked is the food, the cleanliness, the bugs and the room quality. I traveled with a baby and after a 2 day flight he was ready to move about, but to my horror after I let him crawl on the floor he was covered in BLACK. The laundry service could not get the stain out (for which I paid) and I couldn't let him move freely the entire 5 days we stayed. Our air conditioner was broken and we inquired to room service about it but was told to just leave the card in the slot so we assumed okay, this is just how it is. I was waking up throughout the night to take cold showers and my baby was sweating profusely, by the 4th night we had to demand something so they changed our room and low and behold, our AC WAS broken & the new room's toilet was broken. The taste of the food leaves much to be desired and worse, the food made my stomach distend so much that a bartender even refused me a drink due to being "pregnant". I felt disgusting on vacation and ended up having to buy food at the nearby restaurants, completely defeating the purpose of the all inclusive.

Lidt slidt, og det lugtede fælt af kloak ved vores bygning, værelset var ok men sovesofaen var virkelig ringe. Pool områderne var fine med bar ved siden af. Mange aktiviteter og fint supermarked. Restauranten lavede god og forskelliigt mad, Dog var støjen uudholdelig. De to “fine “restauranter var er flop

Leider war das Hotel nicht so gut. • Zimmer war veraltet. Fugen Schimmelig, Möbel teilweise ramponiert, Fliesen hatten Risse • Zimmer wurde nur unzureichend sauber gemacht. Da wurde nur ganz grob gekehrt und mit einem nassen Handtuch „gewischt“ • Auswahl beim Essen war maximal ok, dafür war die Qualität nicht besonders. • Eines der beiden Restaurants war gut (italienisch), dass andere (griechische) war hingegen miserabel. • wird als kinderfreundlich beworben, nur für Kinder ab ca. 6-8 Jahren, für Jüngere wenige bis keine anständige Möglichkeiten.

Preis Leistung ok. Die Zimmer sind Renovierungsbedürftig.

Les extérieurs sont très sympa, très fleuris, les piscines grandes et bien agencées, la plage est privée est vraiment top. Le personnel est dans l'ensemble assez sympathique. Le restaurant propose un grand choix de nourriture mais malheureusement quasi identique chaque jour. Les restaurants à thème à réserver 1 fois par séjour proposent un repas italien et un repas grec. Les plats sont bons mais il faut avoir un énorme appétit sinon beaucoup de gâchis... Et il y a plusieurs possibilités de snacks dans le reste du complexe. Autour de l'hôtel, rien à faire. Il faut absolument louer une voiture pour profiter de Corfou.

The structure is visibly old and probably in need of some maintenance but it is very easy to walk around and all services are easy to reach. The personnel is generally good and nice, the cleaning service was definetly below the standard at least for what it concerned our room however, the resort is fairly clean. We had an issue with the AC and it took over 5 days and a second reminder to actually get back to us. The restaurants could introduce some more variety but not much different than many other all inclusive hotels. The pools and the beach are great!

Rideaux pas très occultant. Et évier de la salle de bain trop petit pour 4. Nourriture très varié et très bonne. Personnel très sympas dans tout l'hôtel.

Just came back after spending 2 weeks in Corfu. One in Labranda Sandy Beach and one in Major Capo Di Corfu - paying almost same per week. Considering that, quality of Capo Di Corfu is higher. Overall labranda Sandy beach is a nice big hotel, pools and beach are amazing and ideal for families with kids, food at a la carte restaurant are excellent and staff are great. But: rooms are outdated, mattress -al least in block 7 -are old and need urgent replacement, you can feel the strings on the mattress and the 4 adults came back with back pain. In addition, rooms are connected to next room with blocked doors, and nothing to stop the noise, we could hear next room people snore and fart- our kid was waking up many times per night. food in main buffet is repetitive - almost no beef in 1 week- and neither there nor in Bars there were options of healthy drinks : only Pepsi sugar free and no natural juices. Everything else from concentrate and full of sugar. I think overall hotel is good, specially for families with kids but cannot think about going back just because the quality of mattress and noise from next room didn’t allow us to have good rest.

Lovely stay with extended family. Staff very kind and helpful. Especially Rania from pool bar. She was so friendly and bubbly and could not do enough for us. Local restaurants nice too

My family & I liked everything & have just returned from a weeks holiday which was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff, food & beach were just as we hoped.

Hôtel en mauvaise état avec plusieurs coupures de courant, des éléments délabrés dans la chambre, infrastructures vieilles et mal entretenues. Qualité de la nourriture assez bonne, en revanche les boissons du AllInclusive sont désastreuses. Les infrastructures sont sous dimensionnées par rapport au nombre de personne alors que nous sommes allés au mois d'octobre. J'ose même pas imaginer séjourner en plein été. Le personnel est généralement pas très accueillant, ce qui est dommage pour un pays comme la Grèce. Tellement de choses à payer en plus alors que c'est sensé être du AllInclusive, c'est aberrant.

Its a very big resort and the Restaurant is very loud, lots of big families and kids if you want relaxation this is not for you, the beach is close and a bit quieter if you sit on the outside, we were 5 people and had no problem getting a sunbed but we went begining of June so no idea how it is in high season. The food is very good and lots of choice. There are mostly British guests with a lot of big families, personally they did'nt bother us but I noticed a lot of people were.

Wer wenig Erwartungen hat wird nicht enttäuscht sein. gute Lage, direkt am Strand - Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig!!!

La struttura si trova a 50 minuti in macchina dall'aeroporto, ma ne è valsa la pena perchè siamo stati molto bene e il mare è molto bello. In generale consiglio alle famiglie che si vogliono divertirsi in tranquillità. Ci sono divertimenti sia per bambini con Miniclub che adulti con spettacoli serali.

The shower is old, every day the same food. All the food with pork meat, the room service is too late. The bars is not all included, only few drinks was free.

My 3 children and myself loved this resort. Food was excellent with a multitude of variety. Staff were very polite

Hébergement avec 2 chambres et une salle de bain. Lits de grandes tailles avec une literie très confortable. Bien équipé: sèche-cheveux, frigo, tv, téléphone, produits d'hygiène. Bien insonorisé. Rideaux pas très occultant. Et évier de la salle de bain trop petit pour 4. Nourriture très varié et très bonne. Personnel très sympas dans tout l'hôtel.

Das Zimmer und die Anlage waren toll aber renovierungsbedürftig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und vielseitig.

Just came back after spending 2 weeks in Corfu. One in Labranda Sandy Beach and one in Major Capo Di Corfu - paying almost same per week. Considering that, quality of Capo Di Corfu is higher. Overall labranda Sandy beach is a nice big hotel, pools and beach are amazing and ideal for families with kids, food at a la carte restaurant are excellent and staff are great. But: rooms are outdated, mattress -al least in block 7 -are old and need urgent replacement, you can feel the strings on the mattress and the 4 adults came back with back pain. In addition, rooms are connected to next room with blocked doors, and nothing to stop the noise, we could hear next room people snore and fart- our kid was waking up many times per night. food in main buffet is repetitive - almost no beef in 1 week- and neither there nor in Bars there were options of healthy drinks : only Pepsi sugar free and no natural juices. Everything else from concentrate and full of sugar. I think overall hotel is good, specially for families with kids but cannot think about going back just because the quality of mattress and noise from next room didn’t allow us to have good rest.

We arrived at Sandy Beach Hotel after 10 pm May 26. We saw dead and live cockroaches; one escaped from the bathroom into the main area. The room looked ancient, beds were uncomfortable, and we woke with back and neck pain. A musty smell lingered even with windows wide open. Rust was visible throughout the resort. Every meal at the main restaurant was the same low-quality buffet with a foul odor. Juices, wine, and beer from dispensers were disgusting. Pool drinks were poor quality and premium options like mojitos and Aperol were not included in the all-inclusive plan. They claimed to run out of sparkling wine by morning, but that was false. Sunbeds, water slides, and pool stairs were filthy and unsafe for children. At the pool bar and nearby food area, staff had a terrible attitude when asked what was included. When we requested each pizza slice in a separate paper bag, they reacted poorly. This place does not deserve any stars. Calling it a five-star resort is misleading and turned our holiday into a nightmare. If we had known the ratings and reviews were fake, we would never have booked. The animation team made our daughter cry. All kids danced in a show and were told they'd receive surprises, but only Kids Club members got medals. Other resorts give candy, but here they gave nothing. Everything felt cheap: food was abysmal, drinks were terrible, and shows were low-budget. The stage was old plywood painted poorly. Even giving sweets after the disco was too much. No value.
