It was only one night stay for us. It's a cute cabin. Beautiful view in the fron of the cabin, outdoor cookout site and seats at the small porch to llok the mountainview.. They have a full kitchen except microwave. There is no TV, and no wifi in room, so we actually spent a quality time without any social media distraction. Wifi is only available near the main office. The town...? there was no stores or restaurants open. We arrived the cabin after 5 pm, and end of September. We drove a couple miles to Cooke city for dining and filling gas for our car. This town is the closest place from the northeast entrance to yellowstone national park.

Nice propertty. Store is nice. Everything was supplied and clean. Location is beautiful and just outside the NE gate to Yellowstone. I booked through expedia, and it was a few months ago, but i don't remember anything about a cleaning fee. I am even OK with the fee if i was aware of it. Only other issue was there was still no cell service and the cabins do not have wifi. Some people prefer this. There is wifi at the store and is free.

This is a small cabin/hotel property in Silver Gate Montana, very convenient to Yellowstone NP. I stayed in a cabin which was clean and provided all I needed. The lighting was a little dark. There are a few restaurants nearby but more in Cooke City which is just 4 miles east of Silver Gate. The staff was helpful and made sure you had what you needed. A neat experience!

Proximity to Yellowstone and The Royal Wulff was great. The room was not clean- there were dirty dishes, glasses, silverware, and pans, the bathroom exhaust fan was dirty, the window tracks were full of dead insects, the refrigerator was very loud, the nightly campfire by the office filled the room with smoke. For the price, I expected something nicer.

This property was very expensive for a dirty cabin. There were bugs in the room and bathroom. The power was out when we checked in and we never got power during our stay. I was not expecting much but would have at least expected the rooms to be very clean for the price.

Tiny, quaint, cabin. Loved the setting and the staff were really helpful. Could use some repairs on the flooring in the bathroom and the carpet was badly stained. Cabin looks cute and meets basic needs. The beds were comfortable after I got passed the fact that there were major cobwebs under the window sill above my head. The refrigerator had a bad smell, and we didn’t use it to prevent tainting our other food. I could barely fit my minivan in the space allotted for my vehicle, and we definitely couldn’t park there to load or unload. The weeds were very overgrown around the property. The woman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice place, and the cabin is rustic. But it has only a double (full) bed, which seems wrong. There is plenty of room for a queen. So, not the best bed for a couple. Other than that, the people were nice, and the area is incredibly beautiful. No better scenery anywhere.

Partially our fault because we thought we booked in Gardiner. We had no idea how remote and isolated Silver Gate would be. The 'staff' was not unfriendly but they were not very welcoming nor did we feel they provided us with the 'lay of the land' as it were. We felt isolated and left to fend for ourselves. Having said that, the cabin was cute and comfortable and the scenery gorgeous, and the access to Yellowstone was quite convenient.

Ice clean cabin, booked for Cooke and direction’s would have been nice since it was 3 miles out of town. Cleanliness was outstanding and owners were great at leaving messages from friends checking in on us. No good or liquor other than Cooke City would stay again now that we know the trail.
