This hotel was beautiful and immaculate, The beds were comfortable and a nice retreat after hiking Acatenango. Definitely walk around and appreciate the garden and the decor. The staff were amazing, kind and spoke English (which was bonus as our Spanish is not that great. We were welcomed with kindness and a warm towel. and a refreshment! If we had time, we would have taken advantage of the massage offer. Hope to come back soon. This place is truly spectacular.

I was traveling with my husband for the first time in Guatemala. This property is located in the heart of Antigua. The hotel is quiet, restful and accommodating to guests. From the moment you walk through their beautiful restored doors you are greeted very warmly by a staff person who makes you feel like you’ve come home after a journey. There is beautiful artwork everywhere. Plants and a beautiful courtyard with corridors holding furniture placed in different areas welcomes you to linger in the spaces and take in the natural beauty and architectural elements from the colonial period prevalent in Antigua Guatemala. The room we stayed in had two floors and two bathrooms. It was very comfortable and you could see that attention to detail both in the decor and amenities were carefully considered. We enjoyed sleeping upstairs and lounging in the lower living area when we weren’t out sighseeing. Breakfast options were all deliciously prepared by a chef in house and served with care and attention every morning. French toast with fresh berries and cream, eggs Benedict, and a typical plate of eggs, frijoles, cheese and plátanos were some options. Fresh fruit smoothies and even an oatmeal parfait with your choice of milk. The coffee was delicious as expected in Guatemala. The front desk was always very helpful in recommending places to eat lunch or dinner. They were also very helpful in finding activities for us to do and places to see. We loved everything about this hotel.

Our stay at La Cruces Boutique Hotel was amazing. This hotel is truly an oasis in the city. I loved our room; however, the courtyard within the hotel was my favorite part. I felt such a sense of calm being at the hotel. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating. i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Antigua.

A spectacular stay is what we experienced at Las Cruces Boutique Hotel. The service from all staff was exceptional! The Master room #8 was the absolute best room we could imagine. The architecture and design, including many artifacts both in and out of the rooms were enjoyable. The included breakfast was divine. If you have extremely high standards for cleanliness and service, this hotel is for you! If you thrive on hot showers and comfortable beds, this is your place! The walkable surroundings were an added bonus because shopping is on the same street on which this boutique hotel is located.

We will share this hotel with all of our friends. The decor and condition of the property was phenomenal. We were in room 9, a Master Suite, and were beyond impressed! The rooms were huge, clean, big shower, and the decor was beyond beautiful! I almost wish I could keep it a secret for our next trip to ensure it is available. The complimentary breakfast with our Expedia rewards topped each morning hike and exploration off with the exquisite cuisine. We had the eggs benedict each morning and we are still talking about how good it was! The level of service in the restaurant was superb! The front desk team was nice and provided great recommendations. They also spoke English to help us since we do not feel confident in our Spanish skills. They arranged transportation from the airport in Guatemala City to the hotel and the driver was so sweet, safe, and helpful! It made our experience top notch to have stayed at Las Cruces and we will definitely return.

What an oasis in the center of Antigua. The service was exceptional. Staff care deeply about our wellbeing and comfort. One weekend night, there were multiple weddings in the city and other guests were loudly interrupted our peace. My husband mentioned during the breakfast that he could not sleep last night. The hotel front desk team took an immediately to upgrade us to a quieter room. The breakfast was exceptional, like a five stars restaurant quality. Truly, this is one of the best hotels we ever stayed. Centrally located, we were able to walk to everywhere.

I hate to write positive hotel reviews because then my favorite properties, deservingly, become busy and harder for us to book. However, this hotel deserves a 5 for tranquility and service. The staff is amazing and accommodating, grounds are beautiful and loved the terrace.

Just impeccable service, from check into check out. The front desk was so lovely and accommodating and helped me sort out transportation to the airport, up to the lake an even through an Expedia side snafu. Honestly, some of the best hotel service I've had anywhere in the world. The grounds are like a little oasis in the middle of the city. You would never guess you had the bustle of Antigua right outside. All the rooms are comfortable and bright and clean and quiet. There are sitting areas that are inviting to spend time in. The breakfast was delicious. I'm an incredibly light sleeper and slept like a baby here. Everything was perfectly central and easy to get around to. I am so glad that I stayed here

It was probably the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. So cool. A lot of art and artifacts decorating the property. The service was exceptional and all levels of the staff were so nice.

Very nice hotel. It gives you that full Guatemala experience. I honestly booked it because there are not many hotels that offer Air Conditioning and this one does. NO air conditioning is a deal breaker for me. This hotel has an amazing location in the center if the town. everything is walking distance. NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESIBLE! THE ONLY ISSUES i had was that my reservation was for room #8 but they put me in room #5. i did not notice until later on that evening. i called the front desk just to see the room that i was originally supposed to be in just to actually see it. they allowed me to view it. it was a bit nicer than the one they put us in but since we were only staying one night, and it was already in the evening, we decided to not move all of our luggage and stayed in the old room. They will tell you that some rooms fall under the same title but your reservation will actually have an assigned room number. ALL THAT TO SAY THIS...Just make sure they put you in the room you reserved. The breakfast can be way better. everything was bland. service was good but food was the weak point as well.

I was traveling with my husband for the first time in Guatemala. This property is located in the heart of Antigua. The hotel is quiet, restful and accommodating to guests. From the moment you walk through their beautiful restored doors you are greeted very warmly by a staff person who makes you feel like you’ve come home after a journey. There is beautiful artwork everywhere. Plants and a beautiful courtyard with corridors holding furniture placed in different areas welcomes you to linger in the spaces and take in the natural beauty and architectural elements from the colonial period prevalent in Antigua Guatemala. The room we stayed in had two floors and two bathrooms. It was very comfortable and you could see that attention to detail both in the decor and amenities were carefully considered. We enjoyed sleeping upstairs and lounging in the lower living area when we weren’t out sighseeing. Breakfast options were all deliciously prepared by a chef in house and served with care and attention every morning. French toast with fresh berries and cream, eggs Benedict, and a typical plate of eggs, frijoles, cheese and plátanos were some options. Fresh fruit smoothies and even an oatmeal parfait with your choice of milk. The coffee was delicious as expected in Guatemala. The front desk was always very helpful in recommending places to eat lunch or dinner. They were also very helpful in finding activities for us to do and places to see. We loved everything about this hotel.

We will share this hotel with all of our friends. The decor and condition of the property was phenomenal. We were in room 9, a Master Suite, and were beyond impressed! The rooms were huge, clean, big shower, and the decor was beyond beautiful! I almost wish I could keep it a secret for our next trip to ensure it is available. The complimentary breakfast with our Expedia rewards topped each morning hike and exploration off with the exquisite cuisine. We had the eggs benedict each morning and we are still talking about how good it was! The level of service in the restaurant was superb! The front desk team was nice and provided great recommendations. They also spoke English to help us since we do not feel confident in our Spanish skills. They arranged transportation from the airport in Guatemala City to the hotel and the driver was so sweet, safe, and helpful! It made our experience top notch to have stayed at Las Cruces and we will definitely return.

I can't imagine finding fault with this colonial style property. The artwork and decoration are impeccable and the service top notch. The breakfast is delicious with many choices. Centrally located yet private, with easy access to restaurants, the plaza & market, I give Las Cruces 5 stars with no hesitation at all.

Beautiful property. Free covered parking available if you rent a car. Free breakfast was delicious and came with coffee and juice. Their roof top has a clear view of the volcano. The location is central to everything. Walking distance to the Arco, parque central and tons of shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very helpful, warm and professional. I stayed in 2 rooms, 6&11. The ones upstairs and not facing the street are best if you’re a light sleeper, and also keep in mind that the beds are firm. Both rooms had great bathroom amenities. Breakfast is a la carte and was delicious, served by very attentive staff. There was an issue with the bed in room 6 and Alexander solved it quickly and efficiently.
