Pathetically awful. Not my taste. The most unliked place I have ever stayed . Squeaky corridors absolutely reeking of thick unpleasant hospital odour. Bad bed with loose springs that whined so loud at every turn on it. A very unwell person in a neighbouring room loudly crying in agony soliciting for help way through the night. Nothing more than a feeble explanation with an arrogant shrug was done when brought to the receptionist’s attention. On arrival they demanded a deposit withheld on a credit card as their so called policy which they promised to release when we checked out. It’s over two weeks since we checked out and our deposit is still withheld. I would personally not go back there.

I turned up at hotel but was transferred to another one. It was ideal as it was right next to the station. The guy on reception was really helpful and explained everything well and got me a taxi to the other hotel which was v good.

Cockroaches in my room. Obnoxious unhelpful staff. Disgusting place. Refused my stay booked 2 weeks in advance for the first night because they don’t accept contactless payment for their unnecessary £100 security deposit? This is against the law & isn’t in writing anywhere. Had to stay somewhere else at short notice for £96. So when I turned up the next day with my physical bank card to pay their security deposit & continue the rest of my stay, they’d cancelled my booking & moved me to a house on a residential street up the road? No refund, no compensation for having to pay for another hotel, no reply from anyone. Then took 12 days, a dozen phone calls & several emails to get my deposit back. Worst experience of my life. Revolting place and people.
