Nous avons rencontré une problématique de chambre en arrivant (sombre et ne correspondant pas à nos attentes). L'établissement a très vite réagi pour nous trouver une solution plus lumineuse et spacieuse. L'hôtel est de très bon standing avec un excellent petit déjeuner,.une piscine magnifique et un personnel disponible et accessible. Je recommande totalement l'établissement

The property is tucked into the jungle close to town and the beach. The sound of the surf is relaxing. There is always wildlife on the property: birds, monkeys, aguatis, iguanas. It's a great spot. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good restaurant. Great breakfast options.

Clean and comfortable, very friendly stuff, amazing restaurant and bar, 2 min walk to the ocean and the Montezuma village, all surrounded by lush jungle and full of various animals (birds, monkeys, koate).

A beautiful place with helpful staff and lots of thoughtful touches, like the organic insect repellent and a proper kettle, mugs and milk in the room. Delicious treats arrived daily. Stunning setting surrounded by masses of wildlife though the drive down is a little hairy in the dark - the last bit of road is terrible. Nearby beaches are quiet and pretty. Comfortable beds and lovely private terrace. Good breakfasts and cocktails. Excellent yoga classes with the loveliest teacher were an unmissable start to the day. The only slight negatives were the lack of hot water (though it was so hot outside it didn’t really matter) and some of the restaurant staff seemed a little inexperienced and in need of training. But we’d return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Nya is located a short walk from Montezuma. The grounds are stunning with pathways through lush forest. There’s little nooks with hammocks, a yoga platform, and gorgeous pool. Sitting at the pool and watching monkeys, squirrels and tropical birds was amazing. We ate breakfast and one dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was a great start to the day with the daily juice, varied menu and coffee. The bar had a great happy hour, with a fun bar tender who made delicious cocktails. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Montezuma

Property is beautiful, lots of birds and monkeys. Room was perfect, clean, very comfortable, overlooking the native jungle garden. Breakfast was fantastic! Service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Pool is beautiful and well maintained. Could not have been better. As VIP Platinum members we were able to upgrade to a balcony suite. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was amazing! Josue was our usual bartender/waiter and he was great, so friendly and a great conversation.

We thought this was a lovely property. Stephen, at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was excellent, yoga was great, and location perfect! We will come back!

This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed at and I have been all over the world! The surroundings are just so relaxing. Nice and shaded. I stayed for 5 nights and kept finding a new spot to chill out each evening ie one of the hammocks dotted about, seating or just at the pool. The bar/restaurant adjacent serves delicious food and drink that is very reasonably priced. The room smelt so clean and fresh and was so nice to walk into on return from a (hot and sweaty) hike. Beach and Montezuma town is on your doorstep also.

Comfortable clean rooms, lovely staff, excellent yoga instructors, brilliant location. Restaurant menu was a little over ambitious although the banana macadamia nut pancakes and the sorbets are excellent. Very good cocktails.

Nya is a beautiful property, secluded and peaceful but right on the edge of town so everything is walkable. The room was immaculate, large, and well lit; the grounds beautiful, and the pool area was shaded and quiet and very clean. It’s an oasis of calm in paradise. One complaint - the restaurant looks lovely, and the food is very good, but it’s expensive, the service is poor, and there is simply not the same care factor as for the rest of the property. It’s a shame, because with a little improvement it would be outstanding. A particular note - it turns out that while the menu marks many items as gluten free, they are not, in fact, gluten free. As a coeliac, this is a problem for me - it did not seem to bother the restaurant staff though!! My summary - stay here, but take advantage of the proximity to town and eat elsewhere - there are much better options.

Rooms very clean and quiet. Property well maintained with unique path to rooms. Complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious! No TV’s in any rooms-take a good book. Beach easy 5 minute walk. Bar & dining area staff were excellent. Dining is semi outside and no AC (typical of most dining in Costa Rica). We were there end of April, thru first week of May and missed the rains. Entrance up to hotel parking lot might be tricky in rainy season? We enjoyed our stay at the Nya and would recommend.

We really enjoyed the service and food in the restaurant. It's that feeling when food is prepared with love. It was very tasty and clean! While we were waiting for our main courses, they brought us crispy bread with cheese spreads, and for dessert, we got to try fruit ice cream, courtesy of the restaurant. The waiters were very friendly, especially Artur. He makes delicious non-alcoholic cocktails and will recommend one to suit your taste! He's a very welcoming guy. The hotel is budget-friendly, but very clean, and the sheets and towels smell nice and fresh.

This hotel has 5-star prices with 1-star service. The hotel is in a good location, nice decor and style. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was OK. However, the service was terrible. Everyone who works there is incapable of working in the service industry, they forget things so you have to ask many times, they got overwhelmed easily and barely anyone was staying there. They mixed up our drink order and charged us more for drinks, when I brought it to their attention they seemed annoyed and challenged me so I had to explain repeatedly the drinks we actually had until they agreed to change the bill. At the pool the sun was going down and it was a little cold, there were no towels, I went up to ask for some, they said they would bring them. I went back up two more times and waited nearly 30 mins, each time they told me to wait but the children were getting colder. In the end I walked up dripping wet into reception and asked for towels, he pretended to not know anything about us needing towels by the pool. At happy hour they encourage you to have a drink from the bar, they took over 30 minutes to make our drinks, there were only 4 other guests, not busy. But the worst part was the person at breakfast every day who was so miserable and unfriendly. She was unhelpful, seemed like we were an inconvenience, made the whole experience unpleasant. You have to ask over and over again for anything you need, not good when staying with small children. A smile would go a long way.

We left after one night. The room was dirty and full of insects. We travelled around Costa Rica and tried many hotels in different regions and this one was terrible. Staff not helpful at all. The pool was not well maintained and dirty. We do not recommend.

Hotel is right by the beach with great staff. Restaurant was quite good. My only complaint was there was nowhere to sit in the room besides a very uncomfortable desk chair. Also lots of mosquitoes. They should put fans in by the bar

Nya is a beautiful property with wildlife all around. I was able to watch a family if howler monkeys from the hammock outside my room. They left me a yummy dessert daily in my room they put in while I was out. The free breakfast menu had a variety of options including vegetarian. Property is town so walkable and beach is right across flyer road from the property. Got the best massage there as well.

Nous avons rencontré une problématique de chambre en arrivant (sombre et ne correspondant pas à nos attentes). L'établissement a très vite réagi pour nous trouver une solution plus lumineuse et spacieuse. L'hôtel est de très bon standing avec un excellent petit déjeuner,.une piscine magnifique et un personnel disponible et accessible. Je recommande totalement l'établissement

Waren zwei Nächte vor Ort und fanden das Hotelzimmer etwas dunkel (ging nach hinten in Richtung Wald). Trotz Leerstand keine Möglichkeit neutral ein helleres Zimmer zu erhalten. Empfangsdame etwas wenig engagiert. Der Strand und der Weg dahin sind nicht gerade schön. Frühstück und Umgebung innerhalb des Hotels TOP. Für zwei Nächte mit den genannten Einschränkungen empfehlenswert.

Nya is a beautiful property, secluded and peaceful but right on the edge of town so everything is walkable. The room was immaculate, large, and well lit; the grounds beautiful, and the pool area was shaded and quiet and very clean. It’s an oasis of calm in paradise. One complaint - the restaurant looks lovely, and the food is very good, but it’s expensive, the service is poor, and there is simply not the same care factor as for the rest of the property. It’s a shame, because with a little improvement it would be outstanding. A particular note - it turns out that while the menu marks many items as gluten free, they are not, in fact, gluten free. As a coeliac, this is a problem for me - it did not seem to bother the restaurant staff though!! My summary - stay here, but take advantage of the proximity to town and eat elsewhere - there are much better options.

Rooms very clean and quiet. Property well maintained with unique path to rooms. Complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious! No TV’s in any rooms-take a good book. Beach easy 5 minute walk. Bar & dining area staff were excellent. Dining is semi outside and no AC (typical of most dining in Costa Rica). We were there end of April, thru first week of May and missed the rains. Entrance up to hotel parking lot might be tricky in rainy season? We enjoyed our stay at the Nya and would recommend.

Property is beautiful, lots of birds and monkeys. Room was perfect, clean, very comfortable, overlooking the native jungle garden. Breakfast was fantastic! Service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Pool is beautiful and well maintained. Could not have been better. As VIP Platinum members we were able to upgrade to a balcony suite. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was amazing! Josue was our usual bartender/waiter and he was great, so friendly and a great conversation.

The hotel was fabulous, set in its own piece of jungle. Green, tropical and quiet. We had a super room overlooking the jungle with all the wonderful noises and the waves in the background. My only observation was it was a little hard to find, we arrived after dark and the map showed we had arrived but took a minute to find it. I suggest the management illuminate the hotel sign ?? Highly recommend. Montezuma is small but very attractive little town and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Excelente servicio, el personal súper amable. Nos ofrecieron, como beneficio de Expedia Silver, una mejora de habitación y un vino espumante. Preciosa piscina y comida y bebidas muy ricas. Recomiendo este hotel a cualquier persona buscando un rato tranquilo y de calidad en Montezuma.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nya Hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and the restaurant staff is warm and welcoming, creating a cozy family atmosphere. The front desk staff is incredibly caring; when my daughter severely sunburned her hand, they promptly brought us medication. Even during rain, they kindly provided umbrellas at guests’ doors. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. However, I found the note from the cleaning staff requesting a tip a bit unnecessary.

A beautiful place with helpful staff and lots of thoughtful touches, like the organic insect repellent and a proper kettle, mugs and milk in the room. Delicious treats arrived daily. Stunning setting surrounded by masses of wildlife though the drive down is a little hairy in the dark - the last bit of road is terrible. Nearby beaches are quiet and pretty. Comfortable beds and lovely private terrace. Good breakfasts and cocktails. Excellent yoga classes with the loveliest teacher were an unmissable start to the day. The only slight negatives were the lack of hot water (though it was so hot outside it didn’t really matter) and some of the restaurant staff seemed a little inexperienced and in need of training. But we’d return in a heartbeat!

This hotel has 5-star prices with 1-star service. The hotel is in a good location, nice decor and style. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was OK. However, the service was terrible. Everyone who works there is incapable of working in the service industry, they forget things so you have to ask many times, they got overwhelmed easily and barely anyone was staying there. They mixed up our drink order and charged us more for drinks, when I brought it to their attention they seemed annoyed and challenged me so I had to explain repeatedly the drinks we actually had until they agreed to change the bill. At the pool the sun was going down and it was a little cold, there were no towels, I went up to ask for some, they said they would bring them. I went back up two more times and waited nearly 30 mins, each time they told me to wait but the children were getting colder. In the end I walked up dripping wet into reception and asked for towels, he pretended to not know anything about us needing towels by the pool. At happy hour they encourage you to have a drink from the bar, they took over 30 minutes to make our drinks, there were only 4 other guests, not busy. But the worst part was the person at breakfast every day who was so miserable and unfriendly. She was unhelpful, seemed like we were an inconvenience, made the whole experience unpleasant. You have to ask over and over again for anything you need, not good when staying with small children. A smile would go a long way.

Very nice property in this quaint town. Service was impeccable. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Excellent water pressure. Property was located steps from beach and town. The beach in this area is a little rocky, but a 20 minute hike to Playa Grande and you will be at one of the most gorgeous beaches for surfing and swimming. It includes a nice little water hole on the way. If I go back to this area, I would stay here again. Nice job NYA!

There’s little nooks with hammocks, a yoga platform, and gorgeous pool. Sitting at the pool and watching monkeys, squirrels and tropical birds was amazing. We really enjoyed the service and food in the restaurant. It's that feeling when food is prepared with love. It was very tasty and clean! While we were waiting for our main courses, they brought us crispy bread with cheese spreads, and for dessert, we got to try fruit ice cream, courtesy of the restaurant. The waiters were very friendly, especially Artur. He makes delicious non-alcoholic cocktails and will recommend one to suit your taste! He's a very welcoming guy. The hotel is budget-friendly, but very clean, and the sheets and towels smell nice and fresh.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The food was excellent, with every meal exceeding our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The food was excellent, with every meal exceeding our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the amenities were fantastic. Everything about the property made for a relaxing and memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Montezuma or Santa Teresa area. I can't recommend this hotel enough – I spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. Everything was perfect – super location, a clean, serene room with a balcony to sit out on and watch all the wildlife... Delicious breakfast and food in the restaurant (and at the moment all the football matches projected on the wall!) ... Every member of staff was kind and helpful... And so many nice touches: the lovely yoga in the open air studio... freshly baked cake every afternoon... and a to-go breakfast on my last morning as I had an early flight. Hope to be back before too long!
