Thoroughly enjoyed the location of the property. The neighborhood was fun and the neighbors were quiet and enjoyable. Perfect location for a family who enjoys kayaking in the sound.

Stayed 7 nights

My family has just come home from staying at Le Spot. We aged in range from 20's to 70's. We knew there would be stairs at the house of course, we just didn't expect them to be so steep or so many. The layout of the house was strange, as you walked into the bottom floor and then the master and kitchen were on the 3rd floor. You had to climb three sets of steep stairs to get to the top. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything between rooms or anyone walking upstairs. Our biggest problem being my mom has issues walking and I also have an arthritic dog. If you don't have this issues, it's not a big deal. Our biggest problem was that we had tons of cockroaches in the kitchen. Every time we'd open a drawer, they would be everywhere. They had been there for some time obviously. The reality company reached out to us when I gave them a lower rating for cleanliness. I explained the situation and they offered to send a pest control company out, but we were worried about our dogs and the chemicals. They explained that because of the storms, that happens. We bought some roach spray and it helped a little. The plus side of the house is that it had fantastic views all around and was right on the sound. Every deck had a beautiful view. The jacuzzi didn't get super hot and the one hammock had a huge hole in it though. Overall we would not rent this house again because of the layout, stairs and it's remarkably more dated and worn than the pictures show.
