A warm welcome on arrival. Our accommodation was surprisingly larger than I thought with a 6 ft bed, ensuite and sitting room. Patio doors to a private patio area with table and chairs. Very peaceful and relaxing. Large grounds with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Parking. A good breakfast laid up in an elegant dining room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very polite and attentive, and approachable. Unfortunately the grounds resembled a scrap yard, and the jacuzzi is in desperate need of a new cover. Suite 1 was our 4 night abode, very stylish inside but again let down by a very rusty and dodgy sun awning. With a refresh to the grounds, and tidy up of the garages this would be a wonderful place to stay.

Arrived slightly late but still greeting by owner. Room was spacious and luxurious but does need some TLC. Beautiful balcony overlooking wonderful spacious gardens, small pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly, helpful and respectfully distant. Had a great meal at The Bear of Burton (two doors away). Great distance from Christchurch (6 minutes). Would stay again.

Lovely large room with good size bathroom . Beautiful grounds and the pool was most welcomed as the weather was hot. Great breakfast .

Brilliant stay here.. beautiful country location but close to the town. The ladies who greeted us and looked after us were friendly, accommodating and just genuinely great people. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hope we will be back
