Location was perfect, the deck & the view from our RV was gorgeous. Right next to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Our RV was okay, the blinds were dingy, the screen door was broken & the water never got hot. There were empty water bottles left from previous travelers. No pool even though it’s listed in the amenities. A little disappointed considering the price.

We stayed in this lodge for our visit to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We had a room that had a park view which was well worth every penny. The room had a little patio which we enjoyed each morning and evening. The breakfast is certainly "grab and go". You pick it up in the lobby and bring it to your patio (in our case) and eat. If I were to make a suggestion to the owners, it would be to have more lighting in the rooms as the wood in the room absorbs the light (we know how that goes because we live in a log house). I would also recommend an extra trash can in the bathroom.

Room was very spacious and clean. Location is fantastic for visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park. Kitchen had adequate supply of dishes and items to make our brief stay comfortable. The Grab and Go breakfast provided was good, even providing boiled eggs, fruit cups, and breads, bagels, and waffles, as well as cereal and yogurt. The fact that you can rent a sand sled there is an added bonus. Staff was friendly and efficient. Walls were a little thin and people next door were quite loud until after 11 p.m. Fan in bathroom was not effective.
