Soggiorno perfetto in struttura all'interno delle mura, totalmente rinnovata con gusto e stile mantenendo parti "storiche". Anche pulizia e location top.Parcheggi disponibili proprio in piazza a pagamento dalle 8 alle 20 anche tramite app easypark. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta a Lucca.

Beautiful old house right inside the city walls and not too far from a nice free parking area on the other side of the wall. The rooms are nicely decorated and have an excellent coffee maker.

Fin beliggenhet og kjempefint rom og bad. Fikk et negativt førsteinntrykk da de hadde et underlig system for innsjekking, og da vi ikke forstod det med en gang, fikk vi en klar melding om at «alle forstår dette». Vi har reist mye og i mange land, men aldri sett noe lignende. Ydmykhet var ikke hennes sterke side! Men etterhvert rettet hun opp inntrykket og var da både hyggelig og hjelpsom. Veldig gode senger. Et minus for at det ikke var heis der.

Location, location, location! Just inside the Santa Maria gate. The owners have taken a small space and made it everything you need. Outer and inner doors have codes, so no messing with keys. Staff was very helpful. Had restaurant suggestions at front desk. Great beds and pillows.

Easy to find. Very cute rustic decor and clean room. The bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! Although there is no staff (except when e we checked in), they were always responsive via WhatsApp. Access to “the Wall” is right in front of the hotel. It’s beautiful to walk, run or bike there.

Enjoyed our stay at Inside the Wall. Room was very clean and comfortable and close to the wall. Love the products and bathroom was very clean and new. Bed was more of a temperpedic feel if you like that kind.

What an unexpected gem! We recently stayed at Inside the Wall and would absolutely recommend this to anyone travelling to Lucca. We received welcome messages prior to our arrival. Our hostess met us on arrival and the room was both beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We had a small issue with the AC, but this was immediately rectified with above and beyond service. This was definitely one of the highlights of our recent trip and we sincerely hope we'll have the opportunity to return one day.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Just a really well thought out and lovely place. The room was super clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent as were suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Would come back for sure!!

We had a 2 night stay. Location within the city walls, very close to all of sights, restaurants and shops. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, nice room with air conditioning. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay. Rebecka was a great host and helpful before and during our stay. The location of this property is a perfect base for exploring the city. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and bright and airy even though it is such an old building. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and the toiletries smelled amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we return to Lucca. Everything was perfect

The host was fantastic. The presidential suite was incredible. I totally recommend the place. So beautiful, clean, and worth every penny. Tasteful, stylish, and quiet. 10 minutes from everything. Rebeka is the owner/ host and made our wedding anniversary exceptional. I would definitely come back!!!

Misleading photos and room description. We reserved a “Superior” room but received the smallest one of all the photos. It was very small for three adults. Last I checked, superior means bigger or better than comparisons. This was a small room that the host simply crammed a cot into a corner for our adult daughter. The HOST was very rude when I inquired about all the photos of a unit with much more space. Instead of apologizing for any misunderstanding, she said “ABSOLUTELY NOT!” I believe she was sensitive because she’s had this misunderstanding before. CLEAR LABELS ON ROOM TYPES WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY THE RIGHT THING TO DO IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS.

If you’re looking for a room in Lucca look no further. After traveling through Italy for three weeks I was getting really fed up with the typical hard italian beds but this place had wonderful soft mattresses. Not only that, the room was small but tastefully refurbished and clean with a wonderful scent. The host is genuinely friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. I don’t often write reviews but this hotel is a hidden gem. Thank you!

Great place to stay inside the walls! Great communication and the accommodations were clean, cozy and confortable. Close to the city center, great bars and restaurants. Parking outside the walls was easy to reach.

Great, modern, clean accommodation in Lucca. Parked right outside and everything that Lucca has to offer is walkable and close by. Would definitely stay there on another visit.

Location, location, location! Just inside the Santa Maria gate. The owners have taken a small space and made it everything you need. Outer and inner doors have codes, so no messing with keys. Staff was very helpful. Had restaurant suggestions at front desk. Great beds and pillows.

We had a 2 night stay. Location within the city walls, very close to all of sights, restaurants and shops. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, nice room with air conditioning. Would highly recommend.

The host was fantastic. The presidential suite was incredible. I totally recommend the place. So beautiful, clean, and worth every penny. Tasteful, stylish, and quiet. 10 minutes from everything. Rebeka is the owner/ host and made our wedding anniversary exceptional. I would definitely come back!!!

The room was great. Clean, spacious, cool design. The staff was helpful getting a iron and ironing board arranged for the room. I deducted a star, mainly due a street noise issue. It seems a popular food/snack bar that stays open late cater to people leaving the bars after close and returning to their cars in the parking lot is located just a couple doors down from the property. This means there is significant crowd noise coming from the street between 02:00 to as late as 04:00 on the Friday and Saturday nights that we stayed at the property (it was not an issue on the Thursday night). Nothing can be done by the property or staff about this, but I think it is an important detail to consider for others potentially looking at staying here.

Per la seconda volta presso Inside the Wall e non mi ha deluso. Ottima breve permanenza a Lucca. Location perfetta con possibilità di parcheggio pubblico nella piazza che offre bar per a colazione. Struttura rinnovata con molto gusto, originale ed accogliente. Consigliato.

Veldig sentralt overnatting på innsiden av muren som hegner Lucca sentrum, allikevel tilgjengelig med bil og parkering rett utenfor døren. Alle restauranter og serverdigheter i Lucca innenfor få minutters gange. Ikke heis så bagasje må bæres opp en etasje om du får rom som ikke er på 1. etasje. Rommene er i oppusset gammelt bygg, men sjarmerende rustikk vibe og bra renholdt og bra nye fasiliteter på bad/dusj. Hyggelig vert som svarer raskt på henvendelser.
