There's a ferry pier nearby. I love the area around this place. The park-like place in front is nice and quiet. It isn't crowded like in siam area. Both MRT and Bus station ares across the river and only five minutes away if you walk. There aren't many restaurants nearby. You gotta walk around 10 mins to chinatown for food. The place can be considered "not bad" at this price range. It's more like a hostel with separate rooms. There's a shared kitchen on the ground floor. I saw there were free snacks too. You can use the fridge, refill your water and even cook there; they provide with full utensils. They don't provide with toothbrush and toothpaste, but hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and towel. The room isn't that spacious but it's not a problem for us. It's a five storey building and you can only use stairs. There's an elevator but it's only for luggages. The elevator didn't work when we got there. So, we had to carry our luggages using stairs. The owner is quite kind and friendly. She gave us some advice on transportation when we got there. Overall, this place would be a good choice if you're traveling on budget with your friends. You can't be too loud though, because the walls are thin.

The room was very good and close walk to Hua Lampong MRT. Helpful and friendly staff. 10 min walk into the heart of Chinatown. The only things I missed in the room was a fridge and a bedside light.
