Well it was interesting. There was a 25 car break in the first night in the parking lot. Second night someone set off the fire alarm mostly because they were dumb. On to the hotel- it was great. Staff was friendly, room was clean, pool was usable and the gym was great. Good variety of breakfast. Coffee was dependent on who made it, but we also like our coffee to have a kick so take it for what it’s worth.

Hotel was clean. Pet friendly. On the downside many cars were broken into in the parking lot. No cameras in back. Thought I was fair enough away that it was safer. Mason isn’t that safe of an area. Beware. Lock your car don’t leave stuff in your car.

Great stay, hotel was very quiet during the week until Friday when Kings Island opened up again. Still it wasn’t too noisy. Staff was friendly and helpful with special requests such as towels. Large selection of items for breakfast. Only complaint was the fitness center—the large TV didn’t work, and connection to treadmills also didn’t work. I don’t use hotel gyms often but when I do I need entertainment!! Overall a great stay, close to many restaurants/stores.

I was in town for a weekend of rollercoaster riding with my son. The hotel and room were great for a weekend trip like this. Everyone was wonderful and the room was clean and well-appointed. The only "negatives" that I ran into were the lack of water pressure in the shower and the broken ice machines on the 2nd and 3rd floors, forcing me to enter the fray of the breakfast area to get ice. The hydration station right next to the ice machine in the lobby did soften that blow significantly. All in all, a wonderful place to stay, highly recommend!!

No one would answer the phone for two days prior to check. Once we arrived they notified us that the elevator is not working and they put us on the 4th floor. Charged 80 more than the place across the street with a working elevator. Not willing to discount for the inconvenience! I have stayed in several hotels over the years for travel softball , work and vacation but this is one place I would definitely not recommend !

Nice newer hotel with free EV charging. Nice place to stay for EV owners. The hallways and elevators had no heat when it was 30 degrees outside. Breakfast wasn’t all that great, but breakfast isn’t something we usually eat in our family so that wasn’t something that would affect us staying again.

Dirty bedding. No water pressure. The chair was put together backwards, so when you sit down, you slide out the front of it instead of backwards. The hallway carpet was dirty and looked as if it had not been vacuumed in a long time.

Room appeared clean except a couple airs on bathroom floor. We got in late crawled into bed when we got up discovered our sheets on one of the beds were not changed there was blood

The room was not completely clean, gummie snacks down the side of the bed. Shower not clean, I had bought Clorox wipes and cleaned myself. Bathroom floor was sticky and room smelled of cigarette smoke. Hotel desk staff on cellphones or personal laptops not attending to what what was going on in pool area or gym as there were children’s soccer teams staying at hotel. No one could enjoy the pool for the nearly 30 unsupervised kids there. Hotel staff did nothing.

From check in to check out the stay was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Location was great to lots of restaurants and attractions. We would definitely return to this location.

Overall okay. However, this hotel definitely has some mold, water issues they are poorly slapping paint on to cover. Our first room smelled so strongly of damp/ mold. The walls were cracking over ever seam. The ac unit was covered in black mold spots. The wall with the ac and ceiling had about 10 variations of paint to cover up mold spots. The black mold spots were seeping through. The second room we went into was better than the first but still had multiple mold spots and a damp smells. Luckily we were only here about 12 hours otherwise we wouldn’t have continued with our stay.

The AC leaked all over my clothes and I had to wear wet clothes to court . No worries everything else was fine . Just sucked that I put my bag on the floor next to the bed and the AC leaked a puddle in the floor wetting all of my things

The toilet was dirty. It had hair on it. When I talked to the man at the front desk, he said maintenance went home at 3:00. When I insisted he clean it, he did, but was on his phone the whole time and it was on speaker so I couldn’t talk to him. Wry poor service for a $200 room.

The breakfast and cleanliness were excellent. The room is tiny no closet no dresser no place to put you clothes. About half the size of a normal hotel. No coffee pot in room no microwave it was clean but tiny. For $240. A night not worth it.

We were really satisfied with the breakfast offered, the cleanliness, the common areas, and the staff. However, the room was really basic with limited features, which took away from the overall comfort experience. In particular the beds were basic, limited area in the room, very small fridge, no microwave in the room, no table or sitting area outside of the desk.

Bed was very comfortable! It was very loud for about a half hour in the middle of the night as it sounded like people staying in the room above us was walking around in high-heels. I think it was so noisy because the rooms have laminate flooring instead of carpet. It woke everyone on our room up. Other than this, everything was great.

Clean room, comfy bed, nice hot shower. My only negatives were that breakfast ends at 10 am on a Sunday, that was very inconvenient. Also a housekeeper knocked on our door about 1.5 hrs before checkout time to see if we had checked out yet. They should be able to communicate that better so you dont bother guests.

When I arrived to check in the front desk staff was out of hotel keys. I was left standing at the front desk. Another guest came in behind and waited to check in behind me. When the staff returned I was asked to sit and wait for a key. The guest behind me was immediately checked in and given a key. A key was walked over to me a couple minutes later.

The front desk person was amazing. We somehow managed to lock ourselves out of our room with our inside lock and he was quick to come up & fix the door for us. Check in was quick and easy. All the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was typical and ok. It was close to lots of dining and stores. Would stay again.

We stay at tru quit a bit and I have to say this was our worst experience. Walked in and no one was at the counter, they were sitting in the little alcove seating area on the phone. This happened quite a few times and with different people. The hallways were freezing and it was all of them not just ours. They said they fixed it, but it was not for sure. Breakfast was OK, they ran out of Coffee each day and people had to say something. We will continue to stay at tru, just not this one.

From the check in to check out, everything went smoothly. Booked 4 nights but had to cancel last night. The manager was very accommodating, and refunded the payment for 4th night with no problem. If and when we return to Kings Island, we will stay at Tru by Hilton.

Hotel was clean and bed was surprisingly comfortable. The issue was the staff the morning of checkout. I stood there for nearly ten minutes and when someone finally acknowledged me he just said out your keys there and you are free to go. I needed a receipt so his smug attitude wasn’t doing me any good. Great stay ruined by a single person.

I will not be staying at this property again. We stayed 3 nights and didnt have one room cleaning. We requested towels and were told we needed to go to the lobby. The lobby didnt have wash rags the first day so we were given body and hand towels..fine. The next day, no room cleaning again. We went down for towels and this time no hand or wash rags and we were told we'd need to use body towels as wash rags. We were given a total of 3 wash rags our entire stay and we had full trash cans and used large, wet towels stuffed in every corner of the bathroom. The end of our stay we ran out of hand soap too but with no hand towels to dry our hands, what does it even matter? I've never felt so neglected at a hotel. We've stayed at 4 hotels on our road trip and this was the most expensive and most disappointing. It just seemed understaffed, people waiting at the front desk several times we came through with no one there. The one great thing was the breakfast and the woman who was attending it was super friendly and working her butt off. She needs a raise and help.

This hotel had a great environment—the lobby is fun and the rooms are new and well-stocked. The continental breakfast was sorely lacking though. The sausage was cold and undercooked. The yogurts were purely for kids (Trix-flavored), and the muffins were clearly just pulled from the freezer. This left us with a bad-taste overall as far as our stay.

The hotel is VERY CLEAN and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is very, very close to King’s Island, in that you can see the Eiffel Tower and several rides easily from the hotel. Because of the building’s “budget” construction, it’s rather noisy. The rooms are not carpeted, which would have helped dampen noise. If you are booking this hotel for romantic encounters, please note that other patrons will be able to easily hear you. The restrooms are clean, roomy, and stocked with dispensers of good products for soap. There are a lot of breakfast choices, but you will be in line to make pancakes. There is only one coffee choice and they only had Coffee Mate, no Half&Half. If they had Half&Half, I would have given a 5 star rating. This hotel seems to cater to a lot of families with kids (and, apparently, people in the process of making them). It’s a good, clean hotel. Please bear in mind that, when you bring lots of kids, it is your responsibility to control them. I never let mine be so disruptive.
