Grassy flats resort and beach club in marathon Florida is an absolute gem! Most of the rooms have a tranquil beautiful blue Altantic view and are very clean. The staff is attentive and hospitable. It has several restaurants with amazing food options. It has two pools, one for families and one adult pool. There are also many activities right on site like kiteboarding. I highly recommend this gem of a resort!

Property is unique, two separate pools. One for families and another for adults only. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Great ocean views. Outside tiki bar was nice with music in the evening. Day time bartender was very nice, evening bartender seemed moody. Land and Sea market was wonderful, great food, coffee, and staff. We did not try the on site restaurant, other guests stated the food was good but spendy. Couple of unfortunate things. One ice machine broke and the second one had been removed. No microwave in the room. When the tide goes out the smell of the seaweed is overwhelming, although you get used to it. Also no alcohol allowed at the pool. Our rooms were nice and enjoyed the couple days spent here, feel it could be more affordable what it is.

We enjoyed our stay except for a few things. Housekeeping only came to door and usually asked if you wanted clean towels. Room was never really cleaned. No coffee pot or microwave in room (personal preference). Out door furniture very old.

What a cozy atmosphere! The rooms were decorated beautifully, the roof top bar and hangout was awesome. The staff there were fun and friendly, and the musicians singing were amazing. Very entertaining! Restaurants close by, but the roof top had appetizers that are delicious. Megan and Marvin were so nice as our bartenders. We can’t wait to visit again.

We loved the property's options for things to do—paddleboarding, kayaking, multiple water sports, and bikes. The pools are very nice and relaxing. The room we had was spectacular and had an ocean view. The Rhum House had delicious food. It was overall a great experience and we hope to return soon.

Grassy Flats resort is a beautiful, private, secluded property. We felt so relaxed here. There is not much of a “beach” area but seeing the high and low tide reveal the “grassy flats” was so cool. There are beach chairs/lounge chairs everywhere (by pools and along ocean front) so you can post up wherever you want. The pool was awesome and shady. The restaurant The Rhum House was gorgeous and the food was excellent. The room was so beautifully decorated, and the balcony was wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone! And I already want to go back.

The overall resort is clean. The beds were uncomfortable, too soft. There is a beach, however the beach is less than desirable. The pictures on their website and hotels.com are not what we experienced. There were tracks from equipment on the beach. There are limited beach chairs on the beach and surrounding the adult pool. The kayaks we wanted to use were broken and had a limited supply of other equipment. The hours for use of the activities equipment are limited, stopping at 5pm. No hours posted for the pool, however we’re told not to be used after sunset despite being an adults only pool. The tiki bar closes at 6, however there are other places for food and drink, but not appropriate to wear pool clothing to. The sunrise was beautiful both mornings we were there.

This hotel is an excellent option for a stay in the Keys. The restaurant might be the best you will find in the Keys, with an outstanding kitchen, great atmosphere and on the water. The rooms are very comfortable; you will need to ask for service, otherwise they will leave you alone. Great balconies overlooking the water.

the most important thing for me was cleanliness and it was clean inside and out. the landscaping was beautiful, pool was always clean. friendly and helpful staff. It was quiet and peaceful. we very much enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are beautiful. Kudos to the interior designer. However, the restaurants and bars were closed. Only lukewarm water in the showers. Our a/c broke and we had to change rooms. No room cleaning or fresh towels provided. Receptionist not friendly or inviting. Beach full of seaweed with a smell that permeated the hotel (not the hotels fault) but not pleasant for guests just the same. It was our second visit. We won't be going back.

The staff was WONDERFUL! Receptive, responsive and so happy! They make your stay so special, everyone makes you feel like you are the only guest there! The bartender Jeff makes the BEST drinks, Lizzy and the office staff are all excellent. They know everything in the area that’s fun to do and the restaurants that serve the very best food. Audrey, Jasmine and the rest of the staff in the “Land & Sea Market” on the property was off the charts, 10/10 for awesome service and friendliness, and the food was consistently delicious and plentiful! The chefs were top notch. They make whatever you like and amend the dish as necessary. We wanted to eat every single meal there every day, but we knew we couldn’t because we had to experience other food while we were on our vacation. Grassy Flats has another location down the street 5 minutes away called Bongos, which is so much fun! It’s not a hotel, it’s a fun/party place with water sports and multiple bars, music, and once again, excellent food and bartenders! Jasmin was covering the bar the night we visited Bongos and her drinks are amazing! She is awesome, too! So friendly, so fun, and made us want to go to this fun party place every day! The one and only negative I would mention is that our room needed a little “TLC”. It was VERY CLEAN, which is the most important thing and all we care about. But, I do think it probably needs a couple of pieces of furniture that is in better shape but other than that, our experience was OUTSTANDING!

Everything in and around the property was really nice the only thing I didn’t like was the beds in the rooms were very loud and uncomfortable. We had two rooms booked and in both of the rooms it was the same issue.

The Family Suite rooms (located in Conch House) require serious updating, especially the bathrooms, which bring you back to the 1970s Keys. The restaurants, bars, and on-site market are phenomenal; it feels like you are staying in two completely different resorts 40 years apart. The staff and overall service were also fantastic. Very friendly staff throughout the site. I would go back and stay in the updated luxury rooms without hesitation. A luxury room stay here would deserve 5 Stars. Cheers

Marketed as a resort but it was disappointing compared to pictures. Entrance difficult to spot. Room was very nice except it was an accessible room so bathroom floor always soaked after showers. Staff all lovely, Wilma the cat visited our room . Pool is tiny and so much foliage. No real beach area available to sit on and do much debris on the beach that it was really very unappealing to try and swim or use kayak. Rhum House restaurant was excellent. The Grassy Flats convenience store for breakfast or lunch was great too. Didn’t rate the beach bar zero atmosphere snd mess that helpful lady working the bar.

Nice quiet stay. Pools were nice. Beach is advertised but not really usable for swimming, snorkeling, etc. The bathtub faucet didn’t work and our air conditioner wasn’t functioning properly - it was always 75-76 degrees inside, which made for uncomfortable sleep. We were told maintenance would come, but they never did. Ceiling fans would have been helpful. Beds were just okay.

The resort has a Carribbean vibe to it. It is at a quiet location but there are great restaurants and attractions just a short drive away. The room was spacious, clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The AC and fan were very quiet and worked well. You can hear people talking or moving things around in adjacent rooms though. Our view was incredible.

We were on our honeymoon. We had a very nice relaxing trip. The pool was clean, the view was great, and the service excellent. The location was ideal. It was a short drive to everything we wanted to do. All the lady’s at the front desk were so helpful and gave us must see spots. But we were able to come back to a beautiful and calm room. We stayed on the top floor and had a great view of the ocean.

From check in, to the pool bar, to BB at the outside cabana sports area, the staff was awesome. Location is great, even during lobster mini season. Everything you could want or need you can do right there at the resort. Room was super clean and everything was just nice and relaxing. Could not recommend this place more, if you are looking for paradise in paradise.

The rooms are beautiful. Kudos to the interior designer. However, the restaurants and bars were closed. Only lukewarm water in the showers. Our a/c broke and we had to change rooms. No room cleaning or fresh towels provided. Receptionist not friendly or inviting. Beach full of seaweed with a smell that permeated the hotel (not the hotels fault) but not pleasant for guests just the same. It was our second visit. We won't be going back.

The staff was WONDERFUL! Receptive, responsive and so happy! They make your stay so special, everyone makes you feel like you are the only guest there! The bartender Jeff makes the BEST drinks, Lizzy and the office staff are all excellent. They know everything in the area that’s fun to do and the restaurants that serve the very best food. Audrey, Jasmine and the rest of the staff in the “Land & Sea Market” on the property was off the charts, 10/10 for awesome service and friendliness, and the food was consistently delicious and plentiful! The chefs were top notch. They make whatever you like and amend the dish as necessary. We wanted to eat every single meal there every day, but we knew we couldn’t because we had to experience other food while we were on our vacation. Grassy Flats has another location down the street 5 minutes away called Bongos, which is so much fun! It’s not a hotel, it’s a fun/party place with water sports and multiple bars, music, and once again, excellent food and bartenders! Jasmin was covering the bar the night we visited Bongos and her drinks are amazing! She is awesome, too! So friendly, so fun, and made us want to go to this fun party place every day! The one and only negative I would mention is that our room needed a little “TLC”. It was VERY CLEAN, which is the most important thing and all we care about. But, I do think it probably needs a couple of pieces of furniture that is in better shape but other than that, our experience was OUTSTANDING!

This is a top notch resort! Terrific staff, beautiful accommodations, great restaurant and bars, lovely pools (2) and hot tub, so many sport options, and just a very relaxing but fun place to be. Loved our vacation, we stayed a week. And because it’s in the middle of the Keys, we could get around easily and make day trips to Key West and Key Largo. Marathon also offers a lot.

The beach resort was beautiful and very nice staff. If you are looking for more to do, dont stay here. It is not close to anything and the food on the resort is very expensive. The pool is wonderful and the beach area was beautifully kept. I would recommend a couple stay here fir a quiet time away.

Grassy Flats resort is a beautiful, private, secluded property. We felt so relaxed here. There is not much of a “beach” area but seeing the high and low tide reveal the “grassy flats” was so cool. There are beach chairs/lounge chairs everywhere (by pools and along ocean front) so you can post up wherever you want. The pool was awesome and shady. The restaurant The Rhum House was gorgeous and the food was excellent. The room was so beautifully decorated, and the balcony was wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone! And I already want to go back.

We loved Grassy Flats! Our room overlooked the pool and ocean - our view was breathtaking! The entire property was lush and felt like a resort. We popped over to the market both mornings for breakfast - delicious! Our servers were very friendly, making our experience very pleasant. The rooftop bar patio was a nice place to land at night. Our 2-day stay was very relaxing and peaceful. And, the adult pool area was a great bonus. We would definitely stay there again!!!

What a cozy atmosphere! The rooms were decorated beautifully, the roof top bar and hangout was awesome. The staff there were fun and friendly, and the musicians singing were amazing. Very entertaining! Restaurants close by, but the roof top had appetizers that are delicious. Megan and Marvin were so nice as our bartenders. We can’t wait to visit again.

I thought the food was great. Even had Foursquare rum, in the bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful, offered many recommendations for beaches and jet ski options. Swim with the Dolphins, is 5 min drive. Only thing i wasnt a fan of, was the tide would go out around 4pm, until 9pm. Leaving a not so great smell during that time. Obviously nothing they can do,but was mot great. Whwn tide was in,was very nice. The pier is nice at night toi.

The bad: the seaweed smell was rough during our stay, really stinky and hard to escape. Rooms were loud and the beds were creaky, so sleep was tough. Tv Remote didn’t work. Phone didn’t work. As a solo traveler didnt love that I couldnt reach the front desk. Calling from a cell phone, rang and rang then hung up. Had to go down to the front desk for anything needed. Beach amenities were non-existent. Restaurant completely ignored me when seated alone. 20 min with no one asking if wanted to order. Not a great experience and not worth the price!!!

Die Gäste erhalten innerhalb von 24 Stunden vor der Anreise per E-Mail Hinweise zum Check-in. Die Rezeption ist zu bestimmten Zeiten besetzt. Von der Unterkunft zur Verfügung gestellte Informationen werden ggf. mit automatischen Übersetzungstools übersetzt.
Der Check-in muss von einer Person durchgeführt werden, die mindestens 21 Jahre alt ist.
- Für zusätzliche Personen fallen möglicherweise Gebühren an, die abhängig von den Bestimmungen der Unterkunft variieren können.
- Beim Check-in werden ggf. ein Lichtbildausweis und eine Kreditkarte, Debitkarte oder Kaution in bar für unvorhergesehene Aufwendungen verlangt.
