A restful place with a terrific pool and hot tub. The staff is always kind and accommodating. The casino and restaurant/bar can provide you with all the fun you wish, then you can sleep peacefully on a comfortable bed with great pillows!

This is a tough one. We booked the king suite for 2 nights over Christmas holidays. The room was great, spacious, clean. The beds aren’t the greatest, but not a deal breaker. The amenitie, however, were not up to par. Tried to do laundry as we have been on the road for some time. Guest laundry room was trashed, garbage overflowing onto the floor and the washers were full of old, dirty, smelly brown water. Pool was closed, as it was when we were at this property 1 year ago. Dining options were very limited after 7pm, even though the posted hours for the restaurant/snack bar are considerably later. None of these issues would be a big deal if there was accurate information posted on the website/socials/in house, but when you are paying for amenities, you expect them to be in working order.

Hotel lobby VERY smokey because they leave casino double doors open - Yuck! The rooms are non- smoking, but the entire lobby is disgusting! Casino pitiful - very few workers - only one who was friendly, The restaurant wasn’t even open - supposed to be Sunday thru Thursday. The snack bar was open, not friendly and food not very good. We were looking forward to dinner. Will not return.

This is a nice place to stay. If you are sensitive to smoke, this is a casino that allows smoking, so it does Wolfe and you can smell it everywhere. The staff at the front check-in is fantastic! They’re fun had wonderful suggestions were to eat and really lovely!

The hotel is very new and shows it - very well equipped and decorated. It’s owned by native Americans. All is excellent except two things - the shower water pressure is pretty dismal and the catering arrangements in the hotel are almost non existent. The main restaurant is only open 7 to 2 weekdays and not at all in the evening. The casino suffers from the same problem as other USA casinos that it stinks of smoke, but the hotel is smoke free. Rooms are very good and clean.

Showed up at 3:30, and they said we couldn’t check in until 4. Overheard staff saying they prefer those that don’t book thru Expedia. Bed was uncomfortable, one small pillow per person. Super small bath towels. Paper thin walls. Clean room.

My wife and I stayed two nights and we had a suite. Exceptional large room with a huge bathroom, playful tub and separate shower. The room amenities were above average. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel and ventured out to the local steakhouse in town, which was very good. This was our second stay at the property and I know we’ll be back.

The property had easy and convenient parking. It wasn’t busy and was a quiet stay. The curtain situation in the room was odd - blackout curtains only covered half of window. Sheer curtains do not provide full privacy. Front desk employee was nice and respectful. The request for extra pillows and blanket involved us needing to walk to front desk at 11pm which was slightly inconvenient. Jet tub had debris and long hairs on surface. The king bed was a 1/10 for comfort. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nicely set up. The restaurant staff might need some retraining in the customer service realm of things.

Check in took forever. Long line at check in. (I’m sure they are short staffed like everyone else) Got a glass of water out of one of the sinks and there was black specks in it. All 3 sinks had the same thing. So their water line or supply is bad. Room was spacious.

Beds were uncomfortable and the check in staff was not very friendly for being in customer service. I went to the front office to ask for towels and stood there for 2 minutes while one of the gals was on her cell phone. But otherwise my stay was ok.

Was taking my son on a college visit and all the hotels in Brookings were taken. We found this gem and when I say gem it was very pleasant. The staff was awesome and for a casino hotel it was pretty quiet. We had a suite which made it even more fun as it had a double shower. Only thing I would change is the mattress in the room. Otherwise i found a hotel id stay at again.

We only stayed one night, but the room was very nice, clean and the checkin was effortless. The staff are very kind and we won’t hesitate to stay there again! The gaming is quite fun also. Good location…be sure to eat at Mad Mary’s, about 5 minutes from the casino/hotel.

This was a nice hotel and casino. The water pressure is really good in the shower, pillows and bed comfortable. There is smoking allowed in the casino. Not much around it, there is a gas station next door.

The food could use some work. I had the breakfast buffet - the pancakes and the french toast were very dry; so dry I had a difficult time cutting them. The best part of the breakfast was the excellent coffee and delicious pumpkin donut.

We were in room 135 so very far away from food and morning coffee. Also, hotel dining advertised a Friday Mexican Buffet - Not! Instead, a hodgepodge of unattractive buffet food items. No regular dining restaurant, only burgers and fries. We drove to another place to eat = Mad Mary’s which was excellent.

The bar area was convenient. Didn’t like the fact that the snack bar was closed on a Friday night. Forced to get a to go order from restaurant which took forever. Our room smelt musty at first until we adjusted the air. The bed sat too low to the ground.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices and quality were very good and the menu prices were reasonable. The towels were thin but still ok. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The staff at the front desk were friendly, the bar staff was OK, the girl was great, the guy was awful... The bed was super hard. There was hair that wasn't ours left in the shower. We stayed in a king suite which was great. The variety of slots was good, the payout, however, not so much. The slots are very tight. There's not much to the town, but the location was convenient to places we wanted to visit. The hotel was nice and modern. The restaurant was OK, the prices were affordable and it was nice to have an option to eat there as there isn't anything else around. Do not, I repeat, do not, get the Saturday buffet. It was awful, that poor prime rib never stood a chance. It was so over cooked and dry. It was left in the buffet line like the mashed potatoes instead of being on a carving station where it belongs. I would possible stay here again, but I would explore other options.
