Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again.

The breakfast was average, I expected more for the cost. Front desk staff were excellent, dinner service was inconsistent. Views were amazing, pool and sauna great; I would come back but not eat there.

Lugar incrível. Se estiver com um carro, é uma ótima localização para a região do Rio Mosella entre Trier e Cochem. Café da manhã excelente para os padrões europeus, com todo o necessário e mais como sucos, espumante, pães, ovos beneditinos, frutas etc. Oferecem saunas, piscina interna e pequena academia. Quartos muito confortáveis, mas o chuveiro nem tanto. Estacionamento interno da pousada é pago, mas em frente se estaciona em vagas públicas por preços mais acessíveis. As pessoas que trabalham no local são muito educadas e atenciosas. Nossos agradecimentos a todas elas. Existem alguns restaurantes na região e um bom supermercado do outro lado do rio. A hospedagem nesse castelo é uma interessante experiência que vale a pena.

Beautiful location in small town of Lieser. Nice rooms and super comfortable beds. No minibar in room which is not suitable for this level of hotel. Service two-folded, partly excellent, partly very poor and misleading guidances. Spa and sauna not open and ready in the morning despite customer promise.

Ontbijt was niet slecht maar niet 5 ster hotel waardig. Veel stuk in het zwembad en wellness gedeelte. De eerste kamer 410 had een vreselijk geluid dit is de volgende dag opgelost door ons een andere kamer te geven. Bedden perfect. Badkamer 410 ook niet 5 sterren waardig, badkamer 412 wel. Geen koelkast op de kamer, wel koffie thee. Fietsen huren is een aanrader

A fantastic stay at the Schloss. It’s majestic, outside and inside. Really friendly and service minded staff. Beautiful room. Good food, and if you are bored you can relax at the Library, have a drink at the bar og bring the drink and play some biljard! Definitely going back!

Absolutely wonderful from first steps inside…GREAT staff, felt most welcome and appreciated, the whole place has that WOW factor…immaculate restoration some time ago and superbly maintained…too many great features to list…everywhere and everything was exceptional.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. They recommended great options for outings and helped me with shipping a parcel back to the US. The breakfast was really good (one of the best during my two weeks in Germany.) Beautiful property and the room was clean and well maintained. Would recommend and return.

Das Hotel war sehr schön, das Zimmer sehr Sauber, Personal sehr nett Frühstuck sehr gut nur das Abendessen war nicht besonders gut, extrem lange Wartezeit bis das Essen kam, Hamburger fast Roh serviert(der mussten wir nicht zahlen), Salat für den Preis sehr wenig und fast keine Beilage

Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did.

Upon check-in, we were provided with Room 400, which was of extremely poor quality. Despite our concerns and feedback to front desks and Hotel.com, the hotel refused to change our room, citing overbooking as the reason( which we found out from hotels.com when they spoke to front desk. There were rooms available on the Marriott site so we know this was not true.) The room’s window is very small and offers a view only if you stand directly in front of it, which is hardly what one would consider a "Mosel view." When we requested a room change, we were only offered a lower category room, as the hotel claimed to be overbooked in the category we had booked. This room is supposed to be the third category above a room with no view, following the vineyard view, and then the Mosel view. However, the description of this room as having a Mosel view is misleading. Based on the photos, it should be classified as a side-view room at best. The most disappointing aspect was how poorly the front desk handled the situation. Their nonchalant approach to problem-solving does not reflect well on their hospitality standards. Their aircon was not functioning with winter duvets and therefore was a very uncomfortable night, followed by the noise of the air con! The hotel has two blocks facing the Mosel with three floors each, yet we were assigned this subpar room on the fourth floor, supposedly offering a Mosel view. Additional issues

I stayed at the hotel for a week midst July and had a wonderful stay! Well is the hotel historic and elegant - but it's the fantastic staff that really made all the difference. They did everything they could to make sure we had everything we needed. I'm already planning to come back, thank you! :)

For the caliber of hotel and the prices in that reataurant nothing should have been wrong. There was only 2 other tables dining at the time. The hotel is worth it but I wouldn't eat there again

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is nice with a decent selection of items in the buffet and made to order. I was disappointed that some services were not available although they were advertised on the welcome screen. Food options are limited after breakfast. Also, the hotel still seems to be dealing with staffing shortages, sometimes the reception desk was not staffed, no help with bags when checking in or out.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. They recommended great options for outings and helped me with shipping a parcel back to the US. The breakfast was really good (one of the best during my two weeks in Germany.) Beautiful property and the room was clean and well maintained. Would recommend and return.

A fantastic stay at the Schloss. It’s majestic, outside and inside. Really friendly and service minded staff. Beautiful room. Good food, and if you are bored you can relax at the Library, have a drink at the bar og bring the drink and play some biljard! Definitely going back!

Few things could use updating and no elevator to the fourth floor, but great views of the vineyards. Close to drive to many nearby wineries. Not much in the city and not many restaurants open in January, but (limited) options at hotel bar and restaurant that are good.

Lugar incrível. Se estiver com um carro, é uma ótima localização para a região do Rio Mosella entre Trier e Cochem. Café da manhã excelente para os padrões europeus, com todo o necessário e mais como sucos, espumante, pães, ovos beneditinos, frutas etc. Oferecem saunas, piscina interna e pequena academia. Quartos muito confortáveis, mas o chuveiro nem tanto. Estacionamento interno da pousada é pago, mas em frente se estaciona em vagas públicas por preços mais acessíveis. As pessoas que trabalham no local são muito educadas e atenciosas. Nossos agradecimentos a todas elas. Existem alguns restaurantes na região e um bom supermercado do outro lado do rio. A hospedagem nesse castelo é uma interessante experiência que vale a pena.

Schloss Lieser er et dejligt hotel med fin morgenmad og beliggenhed. Meget venligt personale og fantastisk terasse til restauranten. Maden var lidt anderledes men smagte fint nok. Der mangler liv i byen omkring hotellet og der er langt at gå til næste by, tag bilen ;-)

Beautiful location in small town of Lieser. Nice rooms and super comfortable beds. No minibar in room which is not suitable for this level of hotel. Service two-folded, partly excellent, partly very poor and misleading guidances. Spa and sauna not open and ready in the morning despite customer promise.

Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again.

Nice historical building, but unfortunately the service was not to the same level. Rude, slow and not even offering to help with luggage when our room didn’t have a lift going all the way up. Limited varieties and slow service at breakfast. Did not try the dinner restaurant. Would not say it’s with the price.

Lovely location, room was OK, but had ant infestation in the bathroom which went inside our toiletries which the front staff didn’t seem bothered by. Breakfast was nice, gym was decent and the schnitzel restaurant 5mins walk down the road was fantastic
