Nice location and relatively quiet

Unfortunately, my experience at this property did not align with the very high ratings posted online. Upon arrival, I encountered roaches in the elevator, which immediately raised concerns about the overall condition of the hotel. The bathroom in the suite had a persistent sewer odor, and there was also a noticeable musty or mold-like smell throughout much of the property. The carpets appeared to show signs of past water damage, and I also noticed areas on the walls where bubbling beneath the paint suggested unresolved moisture or mold issues that may have been covered over rather than properly repaired. Paper thin walls. Any sound from neighbors or the tuk-tuk drivers come blaring through. While I understand that properties can face maintenance challenges, the condition of the hotel fell significantly below expectations for the rating it currently holds. Based on my stay, I would personally rate it much lower. That said, I do want to recognize the staff, who were consistently polite, welcoming, and professional during my visit.
