Although the location and the outside deck of the property was very nice, we were a bit disappointed with the inside of the house. It smelled very muggy when we arrived, I guess due to the age of the house. It looked clean on the surface, but it definitely needs a bit of TLC, especially around the skirtings and the fireplace in the main bedroom, and overall dusting. It does however have a vast amount of crockery and cutlery, which was very handy over Christmas. We have however enjoyed our stay in Tea Gardens, but believe the photos of the house and reality inside are not exactly in line.

Located in Tea Gardens, this vacation home is by the sea. Hawks Nest Golf Club and d'Albora Marinas Nelson Bay are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Pelican Park and Fly Point Marine Reserve. Salamander Super Strike and Toboggan Hill Park are also worth visiting. Motor boating and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby.
