Wir waren am 1. Adventswochenende dieses Jahr in dem Hotel für eine Nacht, zentral, sauber, Parkplatz im Vorfeld reserviert. Hat alles geklappt. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, da im näheren Umfeld sehr gute Bäckereien sind. Wir waren im obersten Stockwerk, für uns okay, da wir gut zu Fuß sind. Da es keinen Fahrstuhl gibt. Wenn man nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte man das bei der Reservierung angeben, das man ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoß möchte.

Wir waren am 1. Adventswochenende dieses Jahr in dem Hotel für eine Nacht, zentral, sauber, Parkplatz im Vorfeld reserviert. Hat alles geklappt. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, da im näheren Umfeld sehr gute Bäckereien sind. Wir waren im obersten Stockwerk, für uns okay, da wir gut zu Fuß sind. Da es keinen Fahrstuhl gibt. It is an unique place with a nice roof terrace where you can see all over town. The roads towards the hotel are very steep and parkingspace at the hotel must be reserved. 3 minutes walk is the Seidenfabrik parking from where it is very easy to ride back to the hotel. Breakfast is fresh, good and not expensive at € 11.50. I personally don’t think it’s very convenient for wheelchair users and people who have difficulty walking. At night it’s super quiet and the beds we had were ferm but still convertible. Price-quality for us was very good and I would surely recommend the hotel.

Very nice hotel for the price - right in the center of the town. Easy check in, wifi, nice room, very clean, great person at the desk with lots of suggestions, and outstanding breakfast for 12 euros per person. Only very minor issue was we had to park a ways away in a parkade because they only have a few paid spots at the hotel, but was really no problem.

This was a very small and basic room that was quiet, bed was comfortable and the shower was strong and warm. Breakfast was good with plenty to eat. I forgot to reserve parking onsite so we had to park down the hill at the garage and trudge our bags up the steep and narrow road.

Hervorragender, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service! Zimmer sind für den Preis und nur zum Übernachten völlig in Ordnung & es war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist üppig, hat aber gereicht. Parkplatz unbedingt vorher reservieren!

Hotelzimmer ist wohl vor unserer Anreise nicht richtig gereinigt worden, z.Bsp.Duschwanne noch lange Haare, unter dem Bett Lag eine Flasche, Bonbonpapier und ähnliches, Frühstück naja geht so, Personal kaum bis gar nicht der deutschen Sprache mächtig. Hotel in dem Zustand nicht empfehlenswert.

Volledig gerenoveerd, zeer proper maar geen lift en badkamer zeer klein. Ontbijt was basic maar mooi verzorgd en zeker voldoende. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed.

Die Sauberkeit im Bad ließ zu wünschen übrig. Es roch muffig und der Siphon war undicht. Alles recht einfach, aber ausreichend für 2 Nächte. Unterschied Comfort Zimmer zu Budget ist marginal.... das Geld kann man sich sparen.

Die Badezimmer sind viel zu klein und eng. Zudem sehr dreckig. Im ersten Zimmer war das Waschbecken voller Haare und Zahnpastareste. Das WC voller Sprenkel und an dem Drücker waren Kotreste. Der Herr am Empfang wurde recht pampig, als wir das gemeldet haben. Haben dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Das Frühstück war okay für den Preis. Schade, da werden wir nicht noch mal buchen. Voor 1 nacht in Monchau is het prima. Prijs is voor seizoen duur. Locatie is via een pittige helling op korte loopafstand van centrum. Auto parkeren voor de deur na reserveren voor 10 euro pd. Ontbijt is prima. Kleine douche, geen airco! goede bedden, kussens waren voor ons te dun. Al met al prima voor 1 nacht!

Nul nul nul à notre arrivée après 20h00 plus personne a l’accueil, aucun personnel présent pour nous remettre les clés de la chambre et de plus le gérant de l’hôtel dit encore qu’il a essayé de nous appeler ce qui est complètement mensonger, 1h00 passer au téléphone pour au final devoir repartir dans un autre hôtel qui (eux) nous on attendu jusqu’à 00h00 car 1h30 de route a faire à partir de 22h30…aucun personnel de l’hôtel n’as voulu se déplacer pour au moins nous remettre les clés! et de plus cette hôtel nous as quand même empoché 95euros sans aucun remords. Bref tout cela pour dire à mes amis français éviter vraiment cette hôtel qui ne vaux rien!

Das die Rezeption nur von 14:00-20:00 Uhr besetzt ist, empfand ich als etwas unpraktisch. Ging aber alles in allem Reibungslos. Nettes Personal. Die Sauberkeit ist standartgemäß in Ordnung. Auch hier habe ich nix meckern! Hier und da, fällt mal was auf, aber alles eher Kleinigkeiten. Die Betten fand ich bequem. Das Frühstück allerdings hat ne Menge Luft nach oben!!!! Das nächste Mal buche ich ohne Frühstück und kehre im Ort iwo ein. Ist sein Geld von 11,90€ pro Person nicht wert! Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden und würde nochmal bei Besttime buchen.

Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, da im näheren Umfeld sehr gute Bäckereien sind. Wir waren im obersten Stockwerk, für uns okay, da wir gut zu Fuß sind. Da es keinen Fahrstuhl gibt. Wenn man nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte man das bei der Reservierung angeben, das man ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoß möchte.

It is an unique place with a nice roof terrace where you can see all over town. The roads towards the hotel are very steep and parkingspace at the hotel must be reserved. 3 minutes walk is the Seidenfabrik parking from where it is very easy to ride back to the hotel. Breakfast is fresh, good and not expensive at € 11.50. I personally don’t think it’s very convenient for wheelchair users and people who have difficulty walking. At night it’s super quiet and the beds we had were ferm but still convertible. Price-quality for us was very good and I would surely recommend the hotel.

Very nice hotel for the price - right in the center of the town. Easy check in, wifi, nice room, very clean, great person at the desk with lots of suggestions, and outstanding breakfast for 12 euros per person. Only very minor issue was we had to park a ways away in a parkade because they only have a few paid spots at the hotel, but was really no problem.

die Lage ist wirklich gut und nur ein paar Gehminuten zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten ... die leider erst ALLE am 1.4. öffnen und wir somit leider gar nichts besichtigen/mitmachen konnten, was wir uns vorgenommen hatten. Das sollte man vorher sehr gut berücksichtigen, denn sonst kann man nicht viel machen in Monschau. Es gibt nur wenige Lokale die abends länger geöffnet haben bzw. wo man was zu essen bekommt. Fast alle ab 19 Uhr keine Küche mehr und das am WE. Parken am Hotel muss reserviert und mit 10€ pro Tag bezahlt werden, das war in der Beschreibung nicht gut zu erkennen und hat mich etwas geärgert. Das Parkhaus kostet übrigens nur 7€ am Tag. Frühstück war völlig ok und die Betten sehr gut. Ein günstiges Budget Hotel was man sehr empfehlen kann.

This was a very small and basic room that was quiet, bed was comfortable and the shower was strong and warm. Breakfast was good with plenty to eat. I forgot to reserve parking onsite so we had to park down the hill at the garage and trudge our bags up the steep and narrow road.

Zimmer schön gestaltet, klein aber fein, absolut ausreichend, Rezeption sehr freundlich, Frühstück am Sonntag leider ohne Brötchen, diese waren innen leider noch tiefgefroren und einfach wortlos entfernt ohne neue bereit zu stellen. Gäste wurden im unklaren gelassen, wir mussten dann notgedrungen auf Brot umstellen. Ansonsten ein guter Aufenthalt.

Das die Rezeption nur von 14:00-20:00 Uhr besetzt ist, empfand ich als etwas unpraktisch. Ging aber alles in allem Reibungslos. Nettes Personal. Die Sauberkeit ist standartgemäß in Ordnung. Auch hier habe ich nix meckern! Hier und da, fällt mal was auf, aber alles eher Kleinigkeiten. Die Betten fand ich bequem. Das Frühstück allerdings hat ne Menge Luft nach oben!!!! Das nächste Mal buche ich ohne Frühstück und kehre im Ort iwo ein. Ist sein Geld von 11,90€ pro Person nicht wert! Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden und würde nochmal bei Besttime buchen.

Booked the hotel as it “appeared” close to event I was working. Upon getting to my event and getting situated, I then wanted to go to my hotel and get settled. Come to find out the distance described on the website would take an hour to traverse 1 way. That was not going to work with my long work times so I had to make other arrangements. I tried to relay that message to hotel and see if I could get refunded as I felt the distance noted was a bit misleading. Still have heard nothing and did not got a refund. In fairness to the review, I never stepped foot in hotel.

Great location in Monschau. Clean, basic hotel good for a nights stopover. Very comfortable & spacious bedroom. No complaints for the price. Recommend contacting the hotel prior to arrival to book a parking space as they are limited. Staff very helpful when we called en-route for directions.
