Villa 2424 (South Seas Beach Villas 3)

The vacation rental property was clean and the rental property company was friendly and helpful. The unit did not come with a coffee maker but instead included a K-cup machine. Since the photo in the listing showed a regular coffee maker I bought regular supplies for it when shopping before arriving on Captiva. Since we did not find K-cups at any of the island stores either, I reached out to the host and they immediately sent a replacement to our unit. Beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico, Ospreys and sunsets from the lanai. The beach wasn’t that crowded and we easily found a perfect spot daily. Although the listing doesn’t specifically say anything about beach equipment, upon receiving final check in information we were made aware that beach towels and access to beach equipment (chairs and an umbrella) would be available which was extremely helpful! Overall we were very satisfied with the assistance and attention we received from the management company, the location and condition of the vacation rental

Most relaxing vacation ever! Perfect weather! Place was so clean! To get up every morning and view the ocean was amazing! The beach chairs and umbrella provided by the host was greatly appreciated to spend the day on the beach! We definitely are returning next year and hope to spend it down there also!

Beach view greatEnjoyed Pool Area

Clean, well furnished, lovely beach view. The listing states washer, dryer, and coin laundry. It needs to be clear that coin laundry is the ONLY option. The listing does advise that you won’t get to take advantage of the resort amenities, however it doesn’t advise that the unit doesn’t have any beach equipment. No chairs, umbrella, or other items. Be aware you will have to rent these separately. Lastly, while you have direct beach access, the resort does have a portion of it blocked off for their guests only. This was not clearly marked at the beach entrance and led to awkward moments of being reminded by the staff and other guests that we weren’t welcome to sit between their chairs. The walk to where you can setup isn’t far, but being aware of this, and being treated kindly by the resort staff and guests, would have been appreciated. Overall that set a bad tone for the week. If you are aware and prepare for these things, the beach is wonderful, the unit is amazing, and the booking process and check-in was a breeze.

This unit was the perfect beach getaway for us. It was simple and easy. We will definitely be back!
