Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Merrillville

I got bit by bed bugs. And I found a bedbug crawling on my pillow. I showed the front desk staff and she just said sorry I’ll change your room. Like what? I should have gotten a refund. I’m going to the BBB AND CORPORATE. And I’m sueing

I had already spent 7 days here. Checked out on 7th day. Staff was really good. they were overwhelmed at times maybe a bit because they are a younger staffed hotel. They sometimes couldn't handle things. They had a lady screaming for hours before they finally called the police. There was a guy complaining about it when I arrived at the front desk. Did I complain? No. Next day all pretty normal. I'm working out of hotel. Housekeeping comes barging in unannounced saying they 'are checking on if you are smoking '. I had the window open. The weather is changing now and it was breezy and warmer. If anything they should have appreciated I let it air out at all. It would have been nice if that was all but ....on the 6th day it do there I booked for another day and chuckle head up front asked me to wait ( for an hour) until check-in..... only to cancel my reservations one hour later. The staff is basically freshman college students. They ran out of eggs every morning. I didn't complain about that. They had no problem feeding several guys that sat out in their trucks all night, were not guests at the hotel, but would come in to eat breakfast ..and all the eggs. But the staff had issues when a paying customer wants to have breakfast and paid for breakfast, The staff are basically children.
