Sehr schöne Anlage wunderschön in der Natur gelegen mit infinity Pool mit Blick in den Dschungel. Spa ist hervorragend. Leider Frühstücksauswahl begrenzt, da nur 1 Gericht inkludiert und wir hatten das Pech, dass die Kaffeemaschine 3 Tage defekt war. Hotel ist eher auf kurze Aufenthalte ausgerichtet.

Great hotel, I had a private pool, which I would recommend as the main pool area is small, I was there in the off season and tried to sit by the pool to have a drink and there was no space at all! My only complaint was the cushions on the sun loungers by my private pool had clearly not been cleaned in a long time, there was algae and moss growing, I didn’t sit on them and instead used the hammock.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the edge of the Monkey Forest. The rooms (suites) are very clean, although there are still a few small areas where improvements could be made. The service and the way guests are treated are truly outstanding. Everyone at the hotel knows who you are and which room you’re staying in, which makes the experience feel very personal. We would especially like to mention Lia, who made our stay unforgettable. We’ve never experienced someone so attentive, kind, and genuinely caring in any other accommodation before. We truly hope she’ll still be working at Kaamala when we return. Thank you, Lia, for the special touch you added to our stay! The resort itself is modern and beautifully maintained. The infinity pool is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the jungle. Breakfast is generally good, though there’s a bit of inconsistency. Sometimes you get a fruit platter, sometimes not. Occasionally chamomile tea is available, and other times only coffee. These are small issues, though, and didn’t affect our overall experience. All in all, a wonderful hotel that we would gladly return to.

We had a wonderful time at the Kaamala Resort. Vania at reception and all the other staff were very warm, helpful and always very friendly. The rooms are beautifully furnished to a high standard. The jungle view is fabulous. The a la carte breakfast in the Wild Air Restaurant is delicious, the selection is generous and everything is freshly prepared from high-quality ingredients. The service is excellent. The pool with a view of the jungle and sensational sunsets is really impressive and an absolute highlight of the Kaamala Resort. Overall, we were more than satisfied and can only recommend the Kaamala Resort to anyone. We would definitely book again. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely NOT a 5 star and not a resort, just a 3 star hotel with a huge and noisy construction site next door. Room smells like fish and sewage. Unfortunately couldn’t get a refund and had to stay and deal with the stress and suffering of being stuck in there as hotel refused to refund. On last day lovely manager Lea organised one hour massage at the spa complimentary which was nice and restaurant food was nice but unfortunately overall experience was horrible. Didn’t use gym either as it was tiny room in the basement without windows and big enough for one or two people maximum. No money exchange service available. Luckily we have few more days in Bali and came to a quiet gorgeous real 5 star new modern resort with lovely forest surroundings, several restaurants and shops, saunas, steam rooms, spa pools, big gym overlooking the forest, few swimming pools and all the amenities as expected with a complimentary drinks and snacks in minibar included all at the same price as Kamala charged us. At least we can recover now from the stress of staying at Kamala.

Great location. 2 bedroom villa was smaller than I thought, and the rooms are not connected the shirt. The shared space is all outdoors. Pool was not heated in June and kids felt it was too cold to enjoy floating breakfast in the pool so we ate on the patio. Shower leaks to other parts of restroom. Besides those, service and amenities were top notch. We walked to monkey forest and monkeys even visited the property each morning.

Wonderful staff and very nice and luxurious hotel. Loved the pool area with jungle views. The rooms are very nice. A lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms was there were only a fully see-through door to the toilet, so no privacy.

Alles in allem ein wirklich sehr gutes Hotel. Vom Personal hin über das Frühstück. Jedoch finde ich dass der erhöhte Preis im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels nicht komplett gerechtfertigt ist. Beispielsweise die Ayona Village Canggu ebenso by InVie war um die Hälfte günstiger und fast genau so gut. Leider war jedoch am letzten Tag eine Hochzeit, was zu Beginn der Reise nicht kommuniziert wurde, sodass wir den Pool nicht mehr nutzen konnten. Hier wäre die Info zu Beginn des Aufenthalts gut gewesen. Ttotzdem hat das Hotel eine sehr gute Bewertung verdient.

I'm afraid I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. It is charging premium prices, but doesn't deliver a premium experience. The hotel rooms were poorly built - there was a lot of noise from other rooms (we could hear whole conversations in other rooms), the ground floor rooms were damp, door frames were warped, there were scuff marks and stains on the walls, etc. etc. There was poor communication from the hotel management - when we arrived we were told that there would be 2 days of works going on at the swimming pool but that we could still use it; the works were pretty major with heavy noise and masonry flying around, so it was in fact not usable. 5 days later and the works were far from complete. The management failed to let us know in advance, didn't offer any discount, and seemed to underplay how disruptive it would be. We came away feeling like our stay had not been good value for money and wishing we had booked somewhere else.

We really wanted to LOVE this property, but it was not for us. However, it might be ideal for others. To begin, the staff was kind and accommodating, they made sure we had all we needed. We booked a 1-bedroom suite, and though cozy, the interior was very small with limited closet space etc. There were big ants in our toilet, you have to look before squatting. What we hated the most was the constant monkey invasion. We expected to see them since we are close to the Monkey Forest, but not to this extent! We had 6 on our front porch one day that would not leave. At times, they would throw trash from the roof into our pool. We had to call for help to get out twice. The area around the hotel was very rural - little shops, but nothing exciting. Although many say it is close to Ubud Center, it really wasn't - we had to get a cab. The traffic in Ubud is crazy, I now think that a better solution would be to stay at a property outside of the city.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Position good. Room looked great but lacked essentials. Only 4 coat hangers and no where to store case so had to leave bag on floor. No iron, lights were not bright enough to read and could not be adjusted. Had a lock down when we were there, could not leave apartment so reading was essential. Room was not cleaned on first day, then lockdown, so 2 days when room not cleaned. Water not replaced so had to keep asking and taking bottles to reception. Breakfast was included but restaurant was very poor not what is expected for an upmarket resort.

We had a 2 bedroom villa. The 2 rooms were connected walking outside on the covered terrasse along the pool. A bit dodgy as we had our kids aged 5 and 8, so we enden up sleeping with a kid each in the 2 bedrooms. In fact it did not seem much like a villa as the seating area and kitchen were outside on the covered terrasse. There were no sun beds at our villa and looking at the neighbors villas ours were also the smallest of them. No way near the 170 sqm they wrote on hotels.com. Also the villa was quite worked down and needed some upgrading. So a bit disappointed on that part. However, the resort shared areas were wonderful and the staff extremely friendly. Very nice food at the Japanese restaurant and also breakfast at the Habitat overlooking the pool and jungle was excellent. Upon check-out we mentioned a few thinks that was wrong in the room, loose toilet and sewer smell, loose tap and other small bits and the friendly receptionist gave us a 10% discount on our bills from the restaurants and bar. That was good service again. All in all a nice hotel, but I would rate it a 4 star rather than a 5 star hotel.

Everything was perfect at this venue. Customer service, food, cleanliness, etc... I have been to many resorts around the world including 5 star venues in major US cities, but it's hard to find a service that comes close to this. I can't even begin to name every staff here who made our stay absolutely perfect. I'm afraid I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. It is charging premium prices, but doesn't deliver a premium experience. The hotel rooms were poorly built - there was a lot of noise from other rooms (we could hear whole conversations in other rooms), the ground floor rooms were damp, door frames were warped, there were scuff marks and stains on the walls, etc. etc. There was poor communication from the hotel management - when we arrived we were told that there would be 2 days of works going on at the swimming pool but that we could still use it; the works were pretty major with heavy noise and masonry flying around, so it was in fact not usable. 5 days later and the works were far from complete. The management failed to let us know in advance, didn't offer any discount, and seemed to underplay how disruptive it would be. We came away feeling like our stay had not been good value for money and wishing we had booked somewhere else.

100% will come back this is a gorgeous property. The rooms were impeccable and clean and so high end. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. Views from the room is amazing and views from the restaurant is also very beautiful. So worth it!

This was one of our favourite hotels in Bali. It was so luxurious and the private villa was stunning and well laid out. It’s in the monkey forest so not for people who are afraid of monkeys. The staff were fabulous

Staff very friendly and helpful. Position good. Room looked great but lacked essentials. Only 4 coat hangers and no where to store case so had to leave bag on floor. No iron, lights were not bright enough to read and could not be adjusted. Had a lock down when we were there, could not leave apartment so reading was essential. Room was not cleaned on first day, then lockdown, so 2 days when room not cleaned. Water not replaced so had to keep asking and taking bottles to reception. Breakfast was included but restaurant was very poor not what is expected for an upmarket resort.

Pool was not heated in June and kids felt it was too cold to enjoy floating breakfast in the pool so we ate on the patio. Shower leaks to other parts of restroom. Besides those, service and amenities were top notch. We walked to monkey forest and monkeys even visited the property each morning.

Amazing room with a private pool. Extremely comfortable and a nice touch of modern amenities like Alexa music and netflix. The only downside was the food. The on-premises restaurant was not great. The food took a really long time to arrive and was cold...but with so many external food options, this is still a great hotel for your stay in Ubud.

We had a 2 bedroom villa. The 2 rooms were connected walking outside on the covered terrasse along the pool. A bit dodgy as we had our kids aged 5 and 8, so we enden up sleeping with a kid each in the 2 bedrooms. In fact it did not seem much like a villa as the seating area and kitchen were outside on the covered terrasse. There were no sun beds at our villa and looking at the neighbors villas ours were also the smallest of them. No way near the 170 sqm they wrote on hotels.com. Also the villa was quite worked down and needed some upgrading. So a bit disappointed on that part. However, the resort shared areas were wonderful and the staff extremely friendly. Very nice food at the Japanese restaurant and also breakfast at the Habitat overlooking the pool and jungle was excellent. Upon check-out we mentioned a few thinks that was wrong in the room, loose toilet and sewer smell, loose tap and other small bits and the friendly receptionist gave us a 10% discount on our bills from the restaurants and bar. That was good service again. All in all a nice hotel, but I would rate it a 4 star rather than a 5 star hotel.

Wonderful staff and very nice and luxurious hotel. Loved the pool area with jungle views. The rooms are very nice. A lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms was there were only a fully see-through door to the toilet, so no privacy.

I had an amazing stay at Kaamala Luxury Resort in Bali! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. My room was clean, cozy, and came with a private pool and a stunning view. Everything felt luxurious and relaxing. I’d definitely come back!

We had an amazing relaxing stay at Kaamala resort. All staff are so friendly and attentive, they really go above and beyond to ensure you’re well looked after and enjoying your stay. The suite room was really good and big! Good dining options on site but also nearby restaurants. The breakfast was great and special overlooking the pool and palm trees. Overall an amazing stay! Waisna staff member was a great help

Amazing resort in Ubud Centre. Just a 5 min walk to the main strip. Staff went above and beyond to organise ATV and water rafting for me at a legit great price. Breakfast is extravagant what a view. If your staying in Ubud, stay here!

Om Swastyastu! From the moment I arrived, staff took excellent care of me. They were always smiling and were ever so ready and willing to help with any request I had. I arrived with a slightly broken luggage. Staff were there with a buggy and carried my luggage to my room. Even when I left, they carried it to my car. I stayed at a forest view suite. It was amazing! There was a bath tub just beside my bed! Every evening after I returned from exploring Ubud and the areas around it, I made myself a nice hot relaxing bubble bath and watched a movie! A perfect end to every day I was on vacation. Thereafter, I climbed into bed for a restful sleep. I woke up well rested every day, and energized to explore more of Ubud. The entire resort is new. Breakfast everyday at their Wild Air restaurant was scrumptious and with a breathtaking view. When I return to Ubud, this is where I’ll be staying. No doubt about it.

Alles in allem ein wirklich sehr gutes Hotel. Vom Personal hin über das Frühstück. Jedoch finde ich dass der erhöhte Preis im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels nicht komplett gerechtfertigt ist. Beispielsweise die Ayona Village Canggu ebenso by InVie war um die Hälfte günstiger und fast genau so gut. Leider war jedoch am letzten Tag eine Hochzeit, was zu Beginn der Reise nicht kommuniziert wurde, sodass wir den Pool nicht mehr nutzen konnten. Hier wäre die Info zu Beginn des Aufenthalts gut gewesen. Ttotzdem hat das Hotel eine sehr gute Bewertung verdient.

Our honeymoon stay at Kaamala was brilliant. The staff are excellent and cant do enough for you. The rooms are large, modern and clean. The breakfast is brilliant as well getting table service first fruit plate then breads and then menu service, provided with tea, coffee and juices. We really wanted to LOVE this property, but it was not for us. However, it might be ideal for others. To begin, the staff was kind and accommodating, they made sure we had all we needed. We booked a 1-bedroom suite, and though cozy, the interior was very small with limited closet space etc. There were big ants in our toilet, you have to look before squatting. What we hated the most was the constant monkey invasion. We expected to see them since we are close to the Monkey Forest, but not to this extent! We had 6 on our front porch one day that would not leave. At times, they would throw trash from the roof into our pool. We had to call for help to get out twice. The area around the hotel was very rural - little shops, but nothing exciting. Although many say it is close to Ubud Center, it really wasn't - we had to get a cab. The traffic in Ubud is crazy, I now think that a better solution would be to stay at a property outside of the city.

What a magnificent place to stay! It is very clean and our villa with a pool was just so very beautiful. The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is very good too, it is easy to walk to the shops and local restaurants. We also highly recommend getting the floating breakfast!

Wonderful staff and very nice and luxurious hotel. Loved the pool area with jungle views. The rooms are very nice. A lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms was there were only a fully see-through door to the toilet, so no privacy.

The staff here was so nice and went above and beyond even by Bali standards. The location is great with lots of shops and restaurants close by. It’s near the market and busier parts of city center but feels separated from all of that.

Sehr schöne Anlage wunderschön in der Natur gelegen mit infinity Pool mit Blick in den Dschungel. Spa ist hervorragend. Leider Frühstücksauswahl begrenzt, da nur 1 Gericht inkludiert und wir hatten das Pech, dass die Kaffeemaschine 3 Tage defekt war. Hotel ist eher auf kurze Aufenthalte ausgerichtet.

Amazing resort in Ubud Centre. Just a 5 min walk to the main strip. Staff went above and beyond to organise ATV and water rafting for me at a legit great price. Breakfast is extravagant what a view. If your staying in Ubud, stay here!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the edge of the Monkey Forest. The rooms (suites) are very clean, although there are still a few small areas where improvements could be made. The service and the way guests are treated are truly outstanding. Everyone at the hotel knows who you are and which room you’re staying in, which makes the experience feel very personal. We would especially like to mention Lia, who made our stay unforgettable. We’ve never experienced someone so attentive, kind, and genuinely caring in any other accommodation before. We truly hope she’ll still be working at Kaamala when we return. Thank you, Lia, for the special touch you added to our stay! The resort itself is modern and beautifully maintained. The infinity pool is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the jungle. Breakfast is generally good, though there’s a bit of inconsistency. Sometimes you get a fruit platter, sometimes not. Occasionally chamomile tea is available, and other times only coffee. These are small issues, though, and didn’t affect our overall experience. All in all, a wonderful hotel that we would gladly return to.

This was a perfect luxurious getaway from the busy streets of Ubud. The staff were lovely, and having breakfast every morning in the Habitat restaurant was a great way to start the day, with a freshly brewed latte, fresh fruit, pastries, and a classic breakfast dish on top of that. We stayed in a villa, and having a private space was just what we needed to balance the chaos that is the Ubud streets!

We had a wonderful time at the Kaamala Resort. Vania at reception and all the other staff were very warm, helpful and always very friendly. The rooms are beautifully furnished to a high standard. The jungle view is fabulous. The a la carte breakfast in the Wild Air Restaurant is delicious, the selection is generous and everything is freshly prepared from high-quality ingredients. The service is excellent. The pool with a view of the jungle and sensational sunsets is really impressive and an absolute highlight of the Kaamala Resort. Overall, we were more than satisfied and can only recommend the Kaamala Resort to anyone. We would definitely book again. Thanks for having us!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Position good. Room looked great but lacked essentials. Only 4 coat hangers and no where to store case so had to leave bag on floor. No iron, lights were not bright enough to read and could not be adjusted. Had a lock down when we were there, could not leave apartment so reading was essential. Room was not cleaned on first day, then lockdown, so 2 days when room not cleaned. Water not replaced so had to keep asking and taking bottles to reception. Breakfast was included but restaurant was very poor not what is expected for an upmarket resort.

What a magnificent place to stay! It is very clean and our villa with a pool was just so very beautiful. The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is very good too, it is easy to walk to the shops and local restaurants. We also highly recommend getting the floating breakfast!

Amazing room with a private pool. Extremely comfortable and a nice touch of modern amenities like Alexa music and netflix. The only downside was the food. The on-premises restaurant was not great. The food took a really long time to arrive and was cold...but with so many external food options, this is still a great hotel for your stay in Ubud.

Our honeymoon stay at Kaamala was brilliant. The staff are excellent and cant do enough for you. The rooms are large, modern and clean. The breakfast is brilliant as well getting table service first fruit plate then breads and then menu service, provided with tea, coffee and juices. Would definitely reccomend and hopefully we get the chance to return. Thank you so much Sam & Evie (Room 923)

Vi tillbringade 4 nätter på Kaamala Resort som en del av vår smekmånad och det va fantastiskt! Väldigt lugnt och avkopplande hotell samtidigt som det var nära till allt. Personalen var så otroligt hjälpsam och trevlig. Ett stort tack till Diah som hjälpte oss arrangera en halvdags utflykt i sista sekund. Stort tack till Wira som tog oss runt på denna utflykt. Det enda jag ångrar är att jag inte bokade några fler nätter.

This property was absolutely amazing, with beautiful views and incredible hospitality from the staff. A nearby path made it easy to reach the main street. We also had dinner at Habitat Restaurant, and the food was fantastic.

What an amazing hotel. Could not find better service anywhere. They treat you like family. Great room with hot tub on the patio. The food is great and we had an excellent massage as well.

Kaamala Resort in Ubud was amazing. The facilities were high end in a great location surrounded by nature. The pool area was great and so peaceful. The new addition to this hotel is gorgeous including the reception area and cafe. We loved our rice terrace pool villa. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful . We look forward to returning oneday.

The hotel positions itself as a honeymoon hotel. But the transparent toilets in the room are totally against it. If you want to stay with your partner in this hotel and you are on to see and hear him/her pooping you may come here. Otherwise, you’ll ruin your couple
