The pool was wonderful, big, clean. Just across the street is Icon One, it is a mini carnival that you may enjoy. I loved just walking around, no car required!

I researched a lot of properties before choosing this one. Cleanliness is extremely important to me and the rooms (as well as all other areas of the hotel were pristine.) The fact that there is no carpeting in the rooms was appealing to me. The breakfast buffet did not disappoint either! Great selection of every kind of breakfast food you may want for a fair price. The pool was of a resort style and also well kept. Staff was personable and friendly. I will be back!

Nice hotel with dining options in the hotel lobby. That was a bonus. The only disappointment I had was that it stated there was a shuttle to Universal Studios and being out of town. I didn’t realize that that did not include all of the different areas of universal. We had tickets to epic universe, which is part of universal, but the shuttle did not go there. I feel like that needs to be stated on their website for people who are out of town and do not know.

I chose this hotel because it had so many great reviews, but unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience. Upon checkin the staff was really nice and helpful, but that’s about where the excellent review stopped. We had to exit the lobby and go outside to get to the elevators in another building, not my favorite feature. The room was large but not the cleanest, just not what I was expecting from a hotel with such great reviews. The worst part was the pool, which is why we took a quick weekend trip to Florida in the first place. It was the most depressing pool I’ve ever seen. It needed about 1-1.5 more feet of water to be filled all the way. The low water level revealed a ton of rust and stains around the walls, the water was cloudy and dirty. I didn’t feel comfortable allowing my son to swim in it, even he said it was gross. The pool furniture was old, dated and rusty. I ended up checking out 2 days early and booking another hotel across the street. If you’re there for one night it’s not so bad, but if you’re looking for a nice clean place to bring your kids, this is not it.

This property was close to many places to dine and shop. Also being right across from Icon park was a plus. The main reason I chose this was because the listing said there was a hotel shuttle provided within a 3 mile radius. I was told at check in that this was false. There is a trolley system close by that you can pay to ride but the hotel does not supply one. I stayed in a sister property in San Antonio and the shuttle was provided. I feel like this needs to be taken out of the amenities on the listing if it is not provided. Overall, the hotel is very nice and we really enjoy the breakfast every morning.

I did like the location especially for dinner options all around the property. Property is clean and neat don’t expect top of the line amenities. It is not a big hotel. The Fusion restaurant was pretty good to be honest food quality was very good. The complimentary shuttle that was a huge disappointment shuttle was super late when called to the shuttle company they said give them 10 more minutes, then shuttle flew by like it was in a high speed chase. So we end up going to the park ourselves. Besides the terrible shuttle experience it was a good stay at the Holiday Inn.

Very good Location, updated rooms and lobby. Older hotel building. Breakfast onsite was convenient. Pool was large and super clean.

House keeping did an excellent job of cleaning my room every day, the property is well maintained, and the location is fantastic.

The front desk staff and the gift store staff were super nice and welcoming. There’s tons of dining options nearby as well as Icon Park located across the road from the hotel. Fusion restaurant which is located in Holiday Inn was awful and there were baby roaches in the room. Overall the stay was decent but I probably would book another hotel along the strip for my next visit.

Our room was not clean. The shower had black hair hanging off the shower curtain. One of the beds had black hair on the sheets. The flooring felt gritty when walking across it. The hotel smelled overwhelmingly of cleaning supplies. We slept in a separate building than the lobby, which felt creepy.

Everything was great and easy to acquire but my room floor was dirty and I mean dirty the same night I found small roaches in the bathroom after the first night didn’t see no more and it’s been a week and haven’t received my deposit back.

I got 3 rooms.. 1 of them stunk like cigarettes and one of them had a huge cockroach in the bathroom!

Very nice staff. Seemed clean but the room we were in had bed bugs. My son was eaten up by bed bugs didnt realize at first what was going on until my husband saw one in the bathtub. The staff was generous on helping us out with a refund but it doesnt help what happened to my son.

From the time we arrived until the time we checked out, it was all a great experience. The whole place was clean. The rooms were comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. Everyone was nice. And the location was perfect! Would stay here again for sure.

I was surprised from the cost, location, and cleanliness of our room. Super glad to have booked this location and would definitely stay again. Only downside wished the lighting in the bathroom was brighter.

Stayed a couple nights for an event in Orlando. This hotel was newly renovated! The room was huge! It was clean and beds were comfortable. Located right across ICON park. No issues with noise. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

Rooms were really big and clean

Chose to stay due to positive reviews and free shuttle bus advertised as property amenities. There was no free shuttle bus, which was a major letdown. Property is quite basic and a little rundown. Rooms seem cold and uninviting, though they were clean and beds were comfortable. Outstanding location directly across the street from icon Park. You can buy passes for the I drive trolley, but again false information about shuttle was a bummer. Also, of note, there were no in room safes.

The only thing we did not like was no microwave or comfy chair

We were very pleased with our stay but the room above us and the person walked back and forth digging their heels into the floor. At 7 am we were awakened to this till about 9:30 both days and this occurred in the evening. If I had a long pole I WOULD OF HIT THE CEILING IN MY ROOM BUT i DIDN'T!! Maybe having carpet in the rooms would of helped.

The main room light was flickering, the bed was noisy with every simple move, the mattress was sunken in the middle, there was a smell coming from the bathroom sink, it was really noisy and lots of light coming under the door at night, there was no safe and parking was across the interior road from the hotel.

Love everything about this hotel. Check in was quick, they let me check in early. Plenty of parking. Staff was super friendly. Within walking distance of a variety of food and entertainment. Rooms are huge and clean. AC cold, beds comfy, showers good and hot. Will definitely stay again. Only thing missing was a microwave

The hotel is not very flexible with their check in times and they keep your deposit. I will fight this with my bank I literally stay one night.

Guest service was so welcoming (Ms Akeyian). Hotel is so close to restaurants and entertainment that we were able to walk. Bed was very comfy. Parking was easy and free!

Horrible customer service Linda helped me check in and I can only say she shouldn’t work at front desk.

The room was super clean / Avi, the staff member at the front desk was a superstar and deserves a raise. The owner of the property would be smart to increase her pay immediately / The breakfast WAS NOT free as Hotels.com has advertised / The Air conditioning was the coldest I’ve ever had in a hotel room which was excellent / The Holiday Inn guy I talked to before I booked the room from this hotel misinformed me that they had a shuttle that would take me to the Orange County Convention Center. They were very wrong! That cost me over $20 a day times 3 days to park at the Center. Another Holiday Inn at Seaworld recommended I stay there because their shuttle wouldn’t take me there. To find out this location didn’t even have one was terrible communication on that guy’s part. So some things were excellent but a few staff poorly messaged their lack of services and costs. Those are the simple things that shouldn’t be missed.

Was in town for a convention and found this hotel just a short drive away. So pleased that it was nice and inexpensive. Linda at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. Helped us get in our room 30 minutes early after a really long trip. Stopped by the front desk the next afternoon and she remembered me and my room number when I asked for extra towels. Parking was free, convenient, and safe. The hotel is a little older but kept up very nicely and its within walking distance to ICON park that has lots of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is extra but that works for me since I usually skip it and it kept my room price lower. They have a Seattle's Best in the lobby that was great and open early. I would recommend this hotel and stay again. If you can get a corner room, its quiet and large.

When I arrived to check in, at 7pm, I was told my room wasn’t ready. They could give a time that it would be, “have a seat and wait,” I was told. I decided to run an errand and when I returned, At 8:30, it was ready. For the hassle I was given a breakfast coupon for the next morning, which I could t use. When I arrived to my room, there was a random part to the toilet on the bathroom floor. The room was fine, and daily freshen up was nice. I’d likely stay at a different hote in the future though.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I was not happy about the elevator being out. At times it took so long we took the stairs. Love that they have a washer and dryer, but a hotel that big needs more than one. The staff who did breakfast always had a smile on their face. They were very nice. The young man in the gift shop had a warming smile and welcoming personality about himself. We need more like him. I would absolutely stay here again. Oh and there was also a nice sized pool.

Arrived and was greeted by a nice gentleman at 8ish pm. He asked if we had a preference in which level we wanted to stay in and was nice to us. He seemed to need to go to the restroom so he asked if he could gave the breakfast coupons sent to our room. We said yes. Went to our room, the entrance light was flickering. We called to ask for assistance. A rude young lady answered and asked if we wanted someone from maintenance to go check it out. I said yes. Soon after I called back to ask for a room change since I had a feeling it would take a while. We had not touched anything in the room and I explained this. The rude lady responded there were no other rooms available (which was a lie since we clearly were just offered a choice in rooms). I didn't wamt to argue so I just let it be. Sat i. Bed for an hour, hungry because we had to wait for maintenance and they wouldn't show up. I called again to ask what was up. I was immediately put on hold and didn't get any form of human response telling me to hold or anything, just straight to hold music. I waited 3 minutes before hanging up and calling again. The nice young man from earlier responded. I explained the situation and also stated that no one came with the coupons too. He quickly apologized and said he would send the coupons up with the maintenance person right away and they did. Went down for food at 10pm, apparently kitchen was closed. But all menus and ads say they close at 12. Upset we left and ate elsewhere.

Conveniently located and incredible front desk staff. Would like to especially thank Michelle, night front counter, for a great & upbeat welcome after a very long & frustrating travel day! Property incredibly quiet.

Overall, it was excellent. Except for the breakfast. First, it should be included. All other Holiday Inn that we have stayed, include the breakfast. Not to mention, it was not a hot breakfast. It was expensive!! Not worth it! Raúl

Great stay. Great location near to Icon park. Walking distance to a lot. Nice pool. Only issue was one of the elevators were down, being on upper floors slowed thibgs down. Fusion cafe had good food, tad overpriced. Beds were comfy for a hotel.
