This hotel could be incredible. The location is exactly where you want to be. Little improvements would make it 5 stars. Mainly the bugs in the bathroom and the shower would not drain. I notified the front desk and the shower wasn’t fixed and after a cleaning the bugs were back. It was also incredibly hot and a little fan would help tremendously.

I must say after so many great reviews, I was excited to spend the weekend in Cascasi. Unfortunately the hotel was a bit of a disappointment. My room (101) was not very clean. The bathroom was suited for a handicapped person, which wasn’t conducive for a non-handicapped person. There was no room to put toiletries, the handle on the sink kept falling off and water went everywhere when showering. The noise from the person above me and whatever construction 🚧 was a rude awakening each early morning. There was no “do not disturb” sign (until I obtained one) to sleep in after arriving. The Patio was full of trash, the bathroom grout was dirty/moldy and the pictures on the wall were coming apart. The location was great and the staff friendly.

Perfect location, the hotel is clean and the front desk folk are friendly and helpful. The twin bed room was a tad on the small side but comfortable with good closet space. The only 1/2 negative was the breakfast: not too much to choose from and no variety day to day, but good enough and the coffee was very good. Would stay again.

I will note that I am a frequent traveller and I can be quite picky. But the photos don't do justice for this hotel! The room was in great condition, clean, very fresh (a lot of hotels can have a stuffy smell, but here it's not), and bed was comfortable. The only minus I will give about the pillows; the polyester stuffing has clumped up. Not hotel quality at all. I hope the hotel could invest in new pillows and blankets-it would elevate the rooms so much more. The location is excellent and if you have a room facing the ocean, the noise from outside is minimal.

Hotel smelled fresh when we entered. The receptionist was extremely helpful on arrival too. Our room, whilst small, was perfect and very clean. The only quibble was that slightly dodgy wiring meant the electricity was a bit off (had to fiddle to get it working in room 102). The breakfast was ok but pretty basic.

The hotel was very clean, but we could not lower the temperature and make the room as cool as we wanted. We had to open the window at night in order to make the room cooler. If the weather at night had been hotter, it would have been a problem. The temperature is regulated by the hotel.

Everything about the hotel was great including the location. The only downfall was that we put the air conditioning on the coldest setting (16 degrees) and it switched back to the higher (21 degrees) setting 3 times during the night so we had interrupted sleep those 3 times. We ended up opening the balcony door to get some fresh air in as well. Other then that the breakfast and the staff were wonderful.

The staff all speak English, which were fantastic for me. I also speak Spanish, but that was super nice and they had great advice as to where to go for things that I wanted to see. This area is so so nice. There are restaurants all over there are beaches close by that are beautiful and the vibe is very upbeat.
