Beautiful vintage looking but new hotel. Very clean and nice hotel. We checked in and had difficulty opening our room door. We called for help and someone came and aggressively wiggled the door open. We continued to have to fight with the door to enter our room. We would have hoped they would have had maintenance repair it or move us to an another room. No bath tub and easy free parking if you can find a spot! I wish there were more parking spaces. No ATM on site which we found strange. There it is, the good the bad and the hungry. We still recommend the Hotel Carmichael.

Parking could've been really inconvenient but the valets kept my car accessible bc I had an early morning departure. Prompt ice and toothbrush delivery. The decor is stunning. Clean. Bed was comfortable, loved that the sleeping pillows were different lofts, seems like a small detail, but I appreciated that. Worth the money.

The food here is very good too. I love seeing a show at the Palladium after a great dinner. Had a glitch with the TV but they sent a tech to fix in about 10 minutes it was fixed.

Beautiful clean hotel. We enjoyed our stay here while we attended a concert at Lucas Oil Stadium. It was nice to be away from the crowds and a calmer area. The only thing we experienced was a mistake on checkout. We were on the house keepings list as checked out. We were asleep and they attempted to assess our room with a key card. We had all the locks set. They came back, and managed to unlock the lock that stops the door from opening, opened the door (we could see the light from the hall and I would've assumed they could've seen our luggage) my husband spoke up and they apologized and said we were marked as checked out. We understand mistakes happen but I would've thought if they couldn't access the room when the lock stopped them, they could've asked questions before coming back and accessing the room.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, I would definitely go back. Walkable to a local shops and restaurants the town side was beer service. The maid service was lacking, for example, they left dirty mugs in my room for morning coffee, and did not change bedding. Otherwise, I will definitely be back.

Decor and ambiance were elevated (including chandelier in room and oversize bath) with easy walk to Palladium and restaurants/cafes. Lounge area was nice but be sure to ask the price of cognac before ordering. Though room was spacious, the beds were NOT comfortable. Sorry, but these beds can be found at lower pricepoint hotels with similar body aches when you awake though less pain in the wallet. However, its location to the Performing Arts venues can't be beat.

Great location. Staff is professional and friendly. Upscale shower. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and provide for all your needs whether you want to stay in or go out. Easy access to Monon trail and downtown Carmel. My only regret is that I can't move in!

My wife and I were excited to try this hotel but there was heavy snow the day of our travel and we were unable to make our reservation. After speaking with the manager and explaining the situation she would not offer the slightest concession and greedily charged us the entire nights stay. We will be avoiding this hotel and all Marriott properties. Very short sighted on this managers part. We travel frequently but will be staying elsewhere from now on.

Seems the service lacked. their doors are heavy and open in an odd way. on 3 occasions I had alot of bags and no one helped. on the last run, someone asked to help after I needed the help. Such a great place that i expected service to be better

Beautiful, classy, & elegant hotel but still comfortable and casual. The staff were friendly & helpful. Everything was exceptionally clean. We had a tasty breakfast & great service. We attended the Christkindlmarkt that was conveniently right outside the hotel. We’ll definitely stay again!

Coming from Miami, with the price, I did not expect such a great experience. We arrived early and the rooms were not ready but the front desk staff and manager were so welcoming and kind. They gave my daughter the chocolate bar which made her so happy. They had the cleaning team did a fast and good job. We got the rooms very soon after arrival. Also all staff I encountered in that hotel were kind and professional. The room service was super quick. Also the hotel is very beautiful. We came for the Carmel Klavier competition. It is literally 2 mins walking to the theater site. The only downside is the paste was not well-cooked.

I treated my my wife to a stay at the Hotel Carmichael this past Friday and Saturday. This was our first stay at your hotel.We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the accommodations. We enjoyed a delicious Friday evening dinner and Saturday morning breakfast at the Vivante. I have one comment about the coffee that you provide in the room. It was awful. You might think about switching to a different brand, like Folgers, etc. Other than the coffee in the room, everything else was wonderful. I hope to do this again next year at about this time.
