The receptionist told me I can use the pool anytime when I check in 5/25/25 @ 4pm. The following morning 6am I went to pool door with sign for pool time 9am. I went to front desk & she said it doesn’t opens until 9am & reported I was misinformed that I can use it anytime. 9am I went back to swim. I asked the front desk if the pool water is warm, she answers “ it’s 80 degrees”. I deep my foot in pool water, the temperature feels 60 degrees!

I appreciated the early full breakfast as we were in town for a bike race. Also I love that they allowed my special needs cat to stay in the room with us. One weird thing I did notice was the light switches in our room shut off differently and never consistently or some did not work at all, like the nightstand charging ports. We did notice when we got there only one elevator was working. We were placed on the 3rd floor and by the time Sunday rolled around the other elevator was not working either, having to take 3 flights of stairs with all your gear and bikes was not a fun task after having raced 85 miles the day prior.

The room was clean and no major issues (light out in the bathroom). Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Great lighting. Only complaint is that the lobby smelled absolutely horrendous.. like a nursing home but 10x worse. The smell was so awful that we checked the room first (it smelled normal) because I wouldn’t have stayed if the room smelled like that.

The hotel appeared very clean, but the show has pink scum build up in it and the toilet seat was broken so it was very inconvenient to try and use. The breakfast was very good.

Hotel isn't all that old, my room had some serious appearance issues for what I was charged. Walls were damaged, tiles were busted and missing, toilet was very hard to flush and shower wand leaked water.

Milisa Colford went above and beyond in checking us in due to me making an error on my check in date. She was very helpful by calling Orbitz to correct the error and getting us into a room with my elderly father suffering from dementia and was having a sundowners moment. We really appreciate her compassion and her dedication to customer service. The room was clean and very nice.

I arrived at the hotel on Saturday, January 25th, at 2:40 PM. The teenage girl at reception told me my room was ready, but she would only give it to me if I joined the hotel’s rewards program. I told her I wasn’t interested, but she insisted two more times. On the third attempt, she said that if I didn’t become a member, she could only give me the room by charging an "early check-in" fee—even though it was only 15 minutes before 3 PM. I thought she was joking, but she was serious, so I had to stand at the counter with my 8-year-old son. At 2:55 PM, I asked, "Can you give me the key now?" She checked her watch, said no, and then put up a sign saying she’d be back in 15 minutes. She explained she had to help another customer with a complaint. I asked her to give me my room first, but she said there were still 3 minutes left until 3 PM. Another customer then said, "OK, let’s wait until 3." So we stood there, waiting for the clock to strike 3 PM. The whole situation was so ridiculous, it felt like a joke.

Would likely stay somewhere else. This was a 1 nighter part of a 3 week trip. Booked last minute without a lot of research. Upon check in I waited at the reception area for 15 mins. There was no sigh about be right back or anything. I rang the bell several times. Finally a young male came out and his facial expression was that I had bothered him by coming to check in. By this time, 2 other people had also came in both with dogs all of us just hanging out. We were given a 2nd floor room. Heads up no elevators so if you have problems with stairs find another option. Room was clean but really needed updating. Breakfast in the morning was not really breakfast. No hot options like in their pictures. Only cereal, breads, and muffins, of and really iver ripe bananas. I purposely booked this hotel over another due to breakfast which we just left. It’s also on a lower level so again more stairs. Would find another option if in the area.

Stay was great right up to check out. I was told my credit card was needed simply to hold the room. However, at check out I was paying cash, and was told my credit card had already been changed. The staff was courteous and after about twenty minutes were able to reverse the card charges. I was told I would have to wait several days for the changes to be credited to my card. This should never appear on my card if only used to hold the room.

Check in was very rude. Three people checking in and the clerk was taking phone calls and setting up reservations. Very rude when guests are standing there. These calls should go to a reservation desk when guests are present. Billing has been a hassle on several occasions. Sometimes the $25 hold fee doesn't come back and this time, a double charge. Shouldn't have to chase these issues down so often. On the positive side we've stayed there several times and like the Hotel. Clean, new, decent breakfast. Get these quirks worked out and it would be a 5.

Very convenient location; restaurants, shopping and gas stations within walking distance. The staff is friendly, accommodating and very professional! They are so welcoming when you arrive for check in. The hotel is CLEAN!!! That is a major plus for any overnight accommodation!!!

There was a variety of food but it wasn’t hot—barely warm. We could hear the tv next door. We encountered a major problem when we arrived in Kearney NE. Our reservation was in Kearney MO! My emails all mentioned Kearney—no state. Expedia was able to fix it and we are very grateful. We will try to be more careful when we reserve next time.

The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The only thing that was just ok, was the breakfast. I usually choose Holiday Inn knowing that the room will be nice, but also for the breakfast. It was just ok. The gravy for the biscuits was not real good.

I searched hotels for 3 days and read reviews after reviews finally coming to this hotel on expedia and the reviews were amazing the pictures were amazing so I canceled my other reservation that was closer to Worlds of Fun for this one 20min away... it was a very great decision!!! It was very clean the lobby was pretty and clean!!! The breakfast was delicious!!! Oh and the best part is the room fit all of us comfortably!!! It's usually hard to find a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out and the price was the same as a room elsewhere that had less room... I give this hotel a million stars!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟
