Property was wonderful, Cabin is furnished well, beds were comfortable, well stocked kitchen and nice firepit. Only issue for me was the path to the lake was rocky and steep - pictures did not reflect that for me.

Very nice cabin. Nice kitchen. Nice deck. Nice grill. Nice fire pit. View is minimal due to young trees growing up and somewhat blocking it but it is still lovely and quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. Couch was very comfortable well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The swimming area is fantastic. We really enjoyed the flat rocks and shade tree. Even though there wasn’t any extra toilet paper and we had to go buy some the place was well stocked otherwise. The beds are comfy, the living room area is comfortable and cozy and the outside deck area is beautiful with all the trees and view of the lake. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved this place. It was clean and very spacious. Being within walking distance of the water was great and the spot to swim was perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be returning some time in the future.

Quiet, peacful location, everything as advertised! If we come back to Greers Ferry we'll definitely try to stay at this cabin again. We found a road that dead ended in to the lake close to the cabin, was able to back our 20' pontoon boat into the lake unload as well as load up when we left, also we were able to tie up our boat right behind the cabin in the cove, great location!

Amazing house with everything you need. Plenty of room for a family. So many amenities 2 refrigerators, gas grill, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, double ovens, big deck with 2 outdoor dining areas, porch swing. Be advised the driveway is a little rough. Overall I give this place 5/5

We loved our week at this log cabin. It is better in person than the pictures. It is very spacious. The big sectional in the living room is amazing! There were a ton of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. There were games and DVDs in the TV cabinet. We were super confused with the tv/satellite remotes, but didn't care enough to reach out to the host. Heads up for travelers with small children - I thought we'd be able to swim at the shore down the path, but it was too steep and rocky to feel comfortable bringing my 3 year old and 1 year old to swim. We did go to a local park with a more beach-like area. Also, I had envisioned relaxing on the deck while the little ones played there, but the openings between the railing posts were way too wide to feel comfortable letting them roam around on the deck. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would come back again!

The bedrooms smelled like a gym locker; rugs, bedding other than sheets had not been washed; ovens, neither frig and especially the gas grill need to be cleaned. The large frig leaks water, ice nor water is hooked up to it. The grill was not usable at all it was so nasty - even had food left on it. The cabin has lots of close housing on both sides but the time of year was perfect so we didn't have noise and only one very quiet family in cabin next door new year's even night. The cabin is lovely, kitchen is well stocked and easy access to the lake. Would stay again but ask host/owner to at least clean the grill if not everything else which was at least usable.

The driveway needs a little work but other then that everything was really nice out and walking into the cabin was awesome great views of the lake and sun setting inside the cabin all the bed are really soft the inside needed to be cleaned alittle bit from maybe not having someone staying there dust on lights and hair in bath tubs we differently will be back in the summer

Very nice secluded area and peaceful. Lake was up so the swimming area at the cabin was a no go. It could be cleaner. The walls in middle bedroom were covered with dust. We were out 10 mins before 11 and cleaners were parked down the road visible for us to see. Made it feel a little uneasy trying to rush with several children.

Superficially clean,but looking closer alot not clean.oven cleaned by me 2 cycles on self cleaning plus hand clean.blinds dirty.windows dirty.refigerator leaking water.cupboards dirty.my husband suffered from multiple bug bites from sleeping in king size bed.fleas or bedbugs?the cabin and location are nice.but not comfortable with the lack of cleaning.

Excellent five day getaway in this extremely well managed and maintained property. Extremely clean with all the conveniences of home. All the rooms are spacious and the living room and primary bedroom have a beautiful view of the lake. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The living room fireplace is beautiful and was used every day of our stay. The lake has some of the cleanest clearest water I’ve ever seen anywhere and I’ve seen a whole lot of all the Ozark lakes further north and they can’t compare to the clarity of GF Lake. A very friendly and responsive camp host and extremely informative about the entire area, lake and all. Has a wonderful fire pit just outside the house although we didn’t have enough time to use it. Every single appliance worked perfectly, the dishware, glassware and silverware are nicer than what we have at home plus so many extras. We’ve stayed in other places but we’ve never stayed anywhere as clean and well stocked and maintained. Hope to make it back sometime.

This property is the best!! Clean and cozy with plenty of room to kick back and relax. We brought our kayaks and played and swam daily. We have stayed at several spots in Greer’s Ferry and this is the best by far. We will definitely be back!

I booked the cabin as a Christmas and Birthday present for my son and his family. Cabin and outside area were just perfect for this crew. Everyone had a blast and we will be booking again. The host was very informative and nice and the cabin was clean and had everything needed. Fishing and weather was great too.

The house is out of the way, but we like that about it. There are two other houses in very close proximity, but we were there in December, so we were the only people in the area really. I imagine during the height of summer, one would have neighbors. The house was beautiful and nicely furnished. The master bed was VERY comfortable, something you don’t always get in a rental. I didn’t try the other beds but the kids didn’t offer any complaints. The water for the main refrigerator was not hooked up, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. We just bought bottled water. The owner was responsive and helpful. We had a great time and we’re thrilled that we could take our dogs with us. My husband was already talking about our next trip before we even left. Thanks for the great stay!

Our second year and reservations for next year at The Hideaway Cabin! Our family loves this Vrbo for boating and skiing. Water is smooth and quiet. Beautiful Log Cabin secluded in the woods. Mark is a wonderful Host. Great communication and information. If your family likes a vacation to ski, play games and hang out cooking s’more in peace and quiet this place is for you.

Greers Ferry Lake is beautiful. The location of the cabin is quiet and restful. The owner Mark provided great information about the area. He was also very responsive to a maintenance request I made. The kitchen is well equipped. My only suggestion would be that at some point in the future he replace the bedroom rugs with tile or laminate. Greers Ferry Lake is beautiful. The location of the cabin is quiet and restful. The owner Mark provided great information about the area. He was also very responsive to a maintenance request I made. The kitchen is well equipped. My only suggestion would be that at some point in the future he replace the bedroom rugs with tile or laminate. I would definitely stay again as I enjoyed the lake and the peacefulness.

Our whole family enjoyed the property. Great proximity to the lake and surrounding hiking trails were an easy drive nearby. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was well stocked with most everything we needed. We had a rainy day spent cozy by the fireplace and a great evening enjoying s’mores by the fire pit. The kitchen had lots of pots and pans to cook a big meal and the beds didn’t have any complaints from our group. We all slept well. Thanks for the great stay!

My wife and I had wonderful stay at the Hidden Cabin. Very peaceful location. Fishing was a bust but the lake being up 10’ played into that one. I will definitely return where I can enjoy the lake. The cabin is in a beautiful setting.

Quiet, peacful location, everything as advertised! If we come back to Greers Ferry we'll definitely try to stay at this cabin again. We found a road that dead ended in to the lake close to the cabin, was able to back our 20' pontoon boat into the lake unload as well as load up when we left, also we were able to tie up our boat right behind the cabin in the cove, great location!

I booked the cabin as a Christmas and Birthday present for my son and his family. Cabin and outside area were just perfect for this crew. Everyone had a blast and we will be booking again. The host was very informative and nice and the cabin was clean and had everything needed. Fishing and weather was great too.

Our family was celebrating my husband’s 45th birthday and this was our first time staying near Greer’s Ferry Lake. We had the best time! The beds were extremely comfortable and the owner has thought of everything. From pots and pans, to dishwasher pods, to laundry detergent, to extra fans, to blankets, to comfortable deck seating, it was a perfect cabin for our family. The mornings out on the back deck with coffee was wonderful. Do we wish the master bath had a shower? Yes, but honestly it didn’t lessen our experience. It was fine. The one thing that I probably wish I had known was the cabin next door also has a path to the shade tree and lake access. They were very sweet people but I was under the impression that it was a private access spot. Again, it didn’t take away from our fun but it was just a surprise to share the space. We brought our boat and had a blast going to Cherokee Park to launch the boat in the lake and climbing cliffs and jumping off. We ate at Janssens Lakefront Restaurant and the chicken fried chicken was amazing! All in all, this was a wonderful getaway for our family and we would stay again. Thank you so much for having us!

Amazing house with everything you need. Plenty of room for a family. So many amenities 2 refrigerators, gas grill, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, double ovens, big deck with 2 outdoor dining areas, porch swing. Be advised the driveway is a little rough. Overall I give this place 5/5

We loved our week at this log cabin. It is better in person than the pictures. It is very spacious. The big sectional in the living room is amazing! There were a ton of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. There were games and DVDs in the TV cabinet. We were super confused with the tv/satellite remotes, but didn't care enough to reach out to the host. Heads up for travelers with small children - I thought we'd be able to swim at the shore down the path, but it was too steep and rocky to feel comfortable bringing my 3 year old and 1 year old to swim. We did go to a local park with a more beach-like area. Also, I had envisioned relaxing on the deck while the little ones played there, but the openings between the railing posts were way too wide to feel comfortable letting them roam around on the deck. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would come back again!

Wow! This place was beautiful! We booked for a weekend and all left wishing we had an extra day or two! The views and place itself was so cozy and relaxing. Coffee on the porch overlooking the lake and nighttime bonfires were top notch. The cabin was warm and inviting, and we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen to cook our meals in. We all enjoyed being on the water and the views from the cabin were SPECTACULAR! We traveled with young kiddos and they had a blast! The cabin had plenty of room for all of us to sit and enjoy a game of cards and the kiddos to play on the floor. Even the dogs are thoroughly exhausted from such a good time! Excellent five day getaway in this extremely well managed and maintained property. Extremely clean with all the conveniences of home. All the rooms are spacious and the living room and primary bedroom have a beautiful view of the lake. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The living room fireplace is beautiful and was used every day of our stay. The lake has some of the cleanest clearest water I’ve ever seen anywhere and I’ve seen a whole lot of all the Ozark lakes further north and they can’t compare to the clarity of GF Lake. A very friendly and responsive camp host and extremely informative about the entire area, lake and all. Has a wonderful fire pit just outside the house although we didn’t have enough time to use it. Every single appliance worked perfectly, the dishware, glassware and silverware are nicer than what we have at home plus so many extras. We’ve stayed in other places but we’ve never stayed anywhere as clean and well stocked and maintained. Hope to make it back sometime.

Second time we have rented. It’s as amazing this time as the first. Everything you would expect and more!! Peaceful and relaxing. The host is awesome!! Already booked for several days in December. And we will be back for a week around this time next year.
