The pool was not clean and poor security in the property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite it being a holiday, week they gave us a late checkout until 1pm which we were incredibly grateful for since this allowed our toddler to take their full nap before we left. I really appreciated the functional layout of the room- it was great to have so much room to spread out, provide a play area, put all our stuff away and have a functional kitchen to prepare and store food. It also allowed us to put him to bed and have an area where we could quietly hang out until we were also ready for bed. The location was ideal for all we wanted to do (shop, Jones Beach, take the train into the city) and the free parking was a huge plus. Our only real complaint was that we booked a room with a king size bed and we were given one with a queen. The name on the TV that "welcomes" you as a guest was also not mine, so I have to wonder if they switched our room with someone else. Typically this wouldn't bother me a ton, but we sleep with our toddler in the bed with us when we travel, so this made for a significantly less comfy sleeping situation. Other than the bed, everything about our stay was wonderful. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we visit!

Our stay was wi derail. The kids enjoyed the pool and the game room. Adults were happy to have an area to meet and spend time together.

It was a very nice hotel. The rooms are great. They also have 24 hour laundry, a swimming pool, pool table and putting green. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful and The free breakfast is very good.

The pool was un swimmable ... Completely cloudy nasty and disgusting.. do not get in it .. as a CPO of a pool myself this should be shut down.. The staff were friendly and helpful The air in the entire building is weak at best The rooms have motion sensors and your room gets hot as fire the minute you leave... It eventually builds back up but your self controls in the room are fairly pointless.. after being in NYC all day in 90 degree weather coming back to a fairly non cheap hotel ... Air is something you shouldt have to worry about The showers have half doors so your bath gets flooded You can't turn on other lights in the room without the master switch on which means the kitchen light must be on at all times to use bathroom dressing lights Over all this was more red roof in than Marriot

Clean, modern, and spacious room with kitchen, standard fridge, microwave, cooktop, and dishwasher. Bathroom is contemporary and clean. Bed is comfortable. Excellent breakfast options. Pool table and cable weight machine were delightful surprises.

This was my 4th stay at this property as it’s within a 10 minute drive from Hofstra where I had activities with my daughter. Spacious room…clean…quiet…breakfast included…water upon arrival…walking distance to the mall and restaurants…plentiful parking…gracious employees/staff.

Beautiful almost new facility with great staff. Amenities include indoor pool, excellent gym, large fire pit.

Disliked that that the shower head was not handheld. It was difficult to shower my 5 years olds and water got everywhere in the floor. Stayed 4 nights and the room was only cleaned once.

Residence Inn Long Island is the perfect choice for lodging. The best hotel stay I ever had. The grounds are extremely manicure and facility immaculately kept. The staff is just as warm and the interior decor and readily providing above and beyond guest services. The rooms are perfectly furnished with anything needed for a relaxing. The cleanliness is impressive. Located in a safe and are near a shopping mall and food facilities and the rates are reasonable. This was the most pleasurable stay ever and I recommend this hotel for any travel needs.

When we first got inside to the hotel room my boyfriend noticed a pet urine smell. It then became increasingly stronger the odor to the point where we couldn’t stay & asked to be put into a different room.

A lot of human hair was in the shower and the bathroom floor (room 123). We arrived at 6pm and one of the rooms we reserved was not ready yet(?) Probably the room with the hair all over the bathroom. Pretty gross.

Nice stay, clean, comfortable, and well appointed rooms

The hotel was very clean & updated. I just had noisey neighbors. The kids in the room next door was so loud early in the morning. the room next to me had an alarm clock that woke me so early in the morning & i was so tired that morning. If i was staying longer i would have to get a room change.

The rooms were large and spacious, especially the high ceilings. Also, the lobby area is very comfortable and inviting. The staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

New Property, quiet location yet walkable to Roosevelt Field Mall. Staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. Our stay is going well and we will return this property as we have fallen in love with it and it's spaciousness.

I frequently stay at this hotel when I travel to Long Island. The location is great. The hotel is great. I even noticed the drapes had been changed out for a lighter shade, which really helped the brighten the space that could be considered somewhat dark. The air is still not working great. And the mattresses need to be replaced.

My only problem was the rooms cooling system. It was loud and needs a constant fan setting for a good air flow.

Beautiful hotel, clean, comfy and friendly… they were having issues with the TV service in the entire building except for the lobby, the TV worked there… I wouldn’t mind much but I had my kids with me and the internet wasn’t great so it was a bit tough with the kids. Next time I guess I would pay for the better internet service. Breakfast was good, I would stay with the family again.

Very nice hotel offering rooms to accomodate a small family. Beds were a bit uncomfy and the ac unit in our room was extremely loud.

Hotel looks brand new even though it is 5 years old. Studio king room was better than most apartments. Breakfast was above par for most hotels and free coffee was readily available.

I have stayed here before. This time was different. We was told by the front desk that we could pay with cash. We asked several if we could at check in. She told us that a hold will be placed on it, and in the morning when we check out the hold will be released and we could pay for the stay in cash.But when we checked out, we was unable to pay with cash and our card was charged without authorization, when we told them we were paying with cash. A different person told us that we indeed could not pay with cash per there policy. The card was charged by then.This was troubling to me and was very upset. This was not what we wanted and should have been told the wrong information

I phoned the hotel from the airport to get a late-night pizza delivery recommendation. Not only was the staff member cheerful, his recommendation was outstanding. When we got to the hotel, he greeted us with a smile. Room was spacious and clean. Every single employee we encountered was helpful. It was the perfect stop!

The front desk receptionist was rude. She insisted that there were no rooms available. As I waited, I watched several other people check in. I asked about it and was told that I would have to change my type of room in order to check in at that time. I agreed to a room type change, but then again we were told there were no rooms available to check into. When we finally did get approval to check in, where she originally informed us that she would call us as soon as our room was ready, but never called. But it’s ok, because she claimed “I got you girl “As we were checking in, she gave us our room number, The other receptionist questioned her about the room, at which time the person checking us in mouthed something about us and the other receptionist said “oh, I get it”. It was extremely uncomfortable worrying about what we were facing in our room. After two days, we needed a couple of towels as there is room service only every other day and we had both showered twice already. I went down to the front desk and requested towels and waited over an hour and a half. I walked back down and the same receptionist said she was shocked that they were not sent up to our room. We received them a few minutes later which again leads me to the conclusion that they were never ordered. As a side note, the circuit breakers in the room clicked off several times during our stay, and always as the hotel hairdryer was plugged in. The pool is small for this size hotel and is usually very crowded.

Great with kids, friendly staff.Our door was left open after housecleaning was done . Staff was notified and they said someone would come up and check out the door but no one came and we checked out the next day after staying there for 5days

This property was beautiful staff was great at front desk. Only one thing thermostat did not work in room so it was freezing. I did notify front desk but did not respond. Otherwise beautiful place

We had the best time staying at this wonderful hotel for a night over Labor Day weekend! The check-in was super smooth, and the lovely woman at the front desk made us feel right at home with her friendly and professional attitude. Our room was spacious and the bed felt like a cloud—so cozy! Plus, being close to the mall and a bunch of great restaurants made everything really convenient for us. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, and I’d absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you for an amazing experience!

I arrived for check in after a 4.5 hour drive to find nobody at the desk. I rang the buzzer from outside to no effect. I called the front desk to no effect. I waited on hold for 10 minutes while trying to find a live person at Marriott to assist, only to be told that since I booked with a 3rd party, she could not help me. 30 minutes later, someone finally showed up at the front desk to let me in the hotel. Zero explanation or remorse for leaving me stranded out side at 1 am for 30 minutes.

It is essentially at Roosevelt field mall which is pretty convenient if you want to go. There’s a restaurant basically in the same parking lot. The hotel is really clean and upscale

We stayed due to a flight out of JFK. I was very pleased to see how much space was in the room! However we had an early flight and were looking forward to the free breakfast but weren’t able to eat because of how ate breakfast started.

Best place I've found to stay on Long Island when staying overnight for event(s) at Jones Beach. (Uber trip to/from JB was easy, but fairly expensive, depending on time of day/traffic.) The hotel staff is helpful and efficient, the room (we staying in a king room) was clean & well-equipped, the mall (w/in sight & walking distance) has plenty of shopping & eating options, and the hotel's free breakfast is not GREAT, but it serves its purpose of getting something quick before starting your day. All-in-all, I would stay here again.
