Das Restaurant hat wunderschöne Räumlichkeiten auch bei nicht so tollem o kühlem Wetter, wir nutzten die 3 Tage ausschließlich die Terrasse und konnten uns nicht sattsehen an den kunstvoll angelegten und sehr gepflegten Weinbergen um uns herum. Der Infinitypool sucht seinesgleichen. Von der Quinta hat uns der Weißwein nicht soo gut geschmeckt, dafür unbedingt Rot-, Roséwein, Portotonic von weißem Portwein, der rote Portwein und der Gin. Eine unbedingte Empfehlung!

This was the most memorable and beautiful lodging of our entire 3 wk Portugal stay! The Quinta is beautiful in every way and the staff could not be more accommodating. The view of the Duoro Valley and river is magnificent, pictures don’t do it justice. there is a stunning infinity pool and breathtaking views everywhere! The rooms are small but stylish and lovely with outdoor seating. Great Restaurant , wine tasting and boat tour (for extra charges) Don’t hesitate to book this stay. We hope to return someday.

This was the most incredible stay in the Duoro valley. We absolutely loved being at the Quinta and exploring the property hiking around. We booked the wine tasting and picnic directly through their website (must be done this way) and they were both wonderful experiences. The staff is exceptional. The pictures we are leaving with almost look fake they are so beautiful.

This is a wonderful property, excellent service, and we love the common living room with view over Douro. There are lots of trails that we can explore within the vineyard. The food and service at the restaurant is superb.

Wow. Oh how I wish we had planned to stay longer! The rooms were so stylish and comfortable, food was delicious and wonderful to dine Al fresco with those views! The pool was a welcome treat, and oh those views. We will be back!

A great escape. We took a jeep and toured the vineyards before a wine tasting and then dinner. The following day we picked up a picnic box for two, that contained lots of food and drinks, which we took down to the river and enjoyed for the afternoon. We were able to walk through the vines, relax at the infinity pool overlooking the Douro River, eat and drink at the restaurant, and play checkers in the common area. We loved our stay and will come back again soon.

This is my second time staying at the property and it was the same magical experience. This time around I just wanted to relax and enjoy the property. And that I did! I spent my days enjoying the trails, in enjoying the multiple fireplaces on the property. And of course the dinner. The food wine and port made for an unforgettable stay.

Quinta do Ventozelo offers the ultimate regenerative break to the weary traveller. An excellent location with the most outstanding views across the Rio Douro imaginable. The rooms are excellent and well appointed, the food is of the highest quality and the staff friendly, efficient and very professional. The perfect get-away for couples with so many things to on the estate - wish I’d booked for longer!

Lugar maravilhoso, lindo. Quarto é simples e funcional. Cama muito boa. Serviço muito simpático e cordial. Vale muito a pena ficar alguns dias. Espero voltar. Os vinhos locais tem um preço ótimo e sao perfeitos pra consumir no local. O chuveiro é muito bom, mas fica num espaco sem portas e faltam ganhcos para pendurar todas as toalhas e roupões.

We were very disappointed that our room was not facing the river which was the attraction. I think the hotel needs to make that clear when they book the rooms. I didn't drive all that way to have coffee looking at orange trees. However, with that said, let me tell you the positive side. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and the grounds are lovely. Bar staff understands wine. But whoever told them that lime ruins a good gin and tonic is nuts. lol

It is a beautiful property and staff are helpful. We stayed in the previous wine cellar so the room is spacious and has a nice view. I do hope that hair conditioner can be provided in the future as well as creamer for coffee in the room. Also the trails signs aren’t visible for many of them which is not that big a deal since everywhere is beautiful.

À exceção do restaurante, tudo é perfeito e espetacular. O restaurante, que esteve perfeito em dezembro de 2020 (quando fui pela primeira vez à Quinta), atualmente (julho de 2022) é um desastre. A Direção precisa corrigir esse problema com urgência; pois, afinal, a Quinta é um importante cartão de visitas da marca de vinhos Gran Cruz. E eu gostaria de poder visitar a Quinta muitas vezes mais, e poder desfrutar de tudo, sem exceção.
