I have a property at the Legends so I am very familiar with the villas. This property needs some love and care. I try not to leave bad reviews because I know how hard it is to upkeep properties in Moorea. You first impression of the Villa is a gate held together by tape, I overlooked that. The jacuzzi was not clean, again I overlooked because I don't really use the jacuzzi and was expecting the pool service to come at any day which he never did. The villa is dark because they have extended a trellis on top of the stone wall and it makes the rooms very dark. Again, i thought no big deal I don't spend a lot of time at the villa. What finally put me over the edge was I could not get the washing machine door open. Which was also rusted to begin with. They are charging top dollar for not a top dollar villa. When I asked for some sort of compensation for my inconvience they refused. Not good practice in my opinion.

Lovely Propery in a gated community. The property itself is superb. The only issue is the gym is basically unusable as everything is rusted. But that isn’t a major issue. As snorkeling is better than the gym anyway.

Very relaxing

The location of this villa and neighborhood are fantastic. The architecture is beautiful and it’s very comfortable and homey. The view is magnificent! It was not really hot during our 4 night stay the end of October, but we agree with some other reviews that a ceiling fan in the front bedroom would be really nice. There was supposed to be a floor fan in the unit but Alizee, our concierge who checked us in, was unable to find it. Luckily we didn’t need it. The only other small suggestion would be a little brighter lighting in the back bedrooms. Otherwise the unit was great! And a bonus were the lizards - being from Florida we felt right at home.
