Renovations were a small minor pain but to be expected. One employee was really really rude to a guest - was really uncalled for happened Saturday morning Nov 30th 2024. Another guest had their tv up loud and i could hear it in my room. Overall a fantasic place to stay and play. I will be back.

Very clean all the way through. A large parking lot, friendly staff and informative about all the amenities and where everything is. I really liked the decor and how the room is laid out. Comfortable bed. Very easy to find and quiet. Interstate 35 goes past this.

The hotel for the most part is clean and very cozy. The showers are amazing! The continental breakfast had a lot of variety and was very good. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately our bed sheet had either a urine or sweat stain, but overall, it was a nice stay and I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel is nice, it’s clean. The walls are paper thin and I could hear my neighbors being intimate for EVER. 🙄 I actually said in just a loud voice “hello, thin walls people” and they quieted down… which tells you they are thin. Also the beds are HARD. I was there for 5 nights and slept rough.

We loved the rooms and the property. The person who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are large and clean and very nice. When we went down to get breakfast we had a different experience. I had put bread in the toaster and had put a few things on my plate. When I went back to get my toast it was sitting on the counter half done and the toaster was gone. I asked the woman who was cleaning what happened to the toaster and why was my toast on the counter and she said that breakfast was over and she had to clear the area. Extremely rude! So we rushed around trying to get our breakfast on plates as she was taking things away. She was quicker than we were and had it all removed before we had a chance to really get anything. I talked to the person at the desk and he just said that she was on a time limit. Up until that point we were very happy with our stay. This persons actions kind of put us off Running Aces! Do better!

We were looking for a quite get-a-way - this fit the bill perfectly. Nice clean and feels off the beat and path even though it is easy access from the highway, when you are there you are surrounded by openness

Great place,1st time stay. For a slow Thursday eve, thought the price could’ve been $20-30 less! Staff was very friendly, great basic bar food was tasty for a modest price. Breakfast was your typical eggs and bacon, very good and clean area to eat. I’d stay again as the races were fun to watch also if interested.

Not a good night or even the following day. The walls are thin. I woke up at about 2:30 am, hearing the neighbors' love noises. I cannot unhear that. The following day the breakfast buffet was not great. It was a full spread, but so much for any Covid protection. People were hand-grubbing everything. Of course, i was looking at everyone side-eyed, wondering who kept me awake half the night. I went back to my room about 8 am, and I heard knocking on doors and then screaming from another room. A couple about 2 doors over were having an all-out fight, screaming and I suspect it was physical. I could hear stuff crashing and a woman crying. I also heard slapping noises between the screaming and swearing. The carpet outside the room was full of dry cereal. I called 911 and told them I believed it was a domestic. I then called the front desk. A person from security (who showed up after about 5-10 minutes) said that someone else said the occupants of that room were arguing all night. Security knocked on the door and the occupants said everything was ok, so security left. As I was in the lobby, sheriff's deputies eventually showed up. It probably took them 20 or 30 minutes to show up. I spoke with them and then I left exhausted and hungry.

Really didn’t like the idea that the room is only made up AFTER 3 nites. When we arrived the coffee service had no coffee. The breakfast really wasn’t that good.

We had a family tragedy so several family members met here to be closer to other family members. traveled from Boston & South Carolina. I saw that they changed the dining area which is a shame. Having to go through the casino and listen to the swearing was not the best for young children to hear. The breakfast was very nice and clean. Wish they had a full service dining room separate from the casino.
