Good location no choice in breakfast very small garbage can no klinex or paper towel plus they wanted to charge me for wine drops on small towel but after exchange they dropped the claim one key card to open the door but if is two guest they have to be all the time together because power is off if you remove that card couldn’t find any English on tv

Check in super fast, comfortable modern rooms, plug for computers and usb (not all Peruvian hotels have this). Good WiFi was able to do conference calls with no problems. Breakfast needs improvement, scrambled eggs, limited assortment of fruits, coffee and bread. Personnel friendly and courteous, VIP wine was a nice touch although had to ask for it. The location can’t be bettter.

This is a modern boutique hotel located midway between Plaza de Armas and Plaza San Martin, the two most visited plazas in Lima's Centro Historico. It's also located along one of the busiest avenues in the old Lima hence a lot of noise from the outside until past midnite. The hotel is very clean and very modern but has very minimal amenities. They have two small bar soap and two small shampoo. They provide two big towels, one medium towel and a floor towel. Shower works really good with hot and cold water. Airconditioning and wi-fi all works well. They have a safe box. They also have a small fridge in the room. Linens and towels are clean and white. Bed is medium firm and they provide only two pillows and two throw pillows. They have a flat screen tv with ample channels to watch. They dont provide comp bottled water. It is just at the corner of the walking street and so its safe at night if you will just stay in the main street. The staff is hospitable and welcoming. I did not try their breakfast since my flight is early in the morning. Lots of restaurants, shops and casinos in the area. For its price, location and cleanliness, I will stay here again if I want to visit Lima's Historic center.

The night receptionist was awesome. She wax very helpful and friendly when we arrived late and then left early morning for our flight. The room was spacious, and the bed massive - I lost my husband it in! It was very comfortable. Location was central to the historic centre and shops. The only thing missing was tea/ coffee making facilities in the room The fridge also didn't work well. Good value for money.

The hotel is well located in the old part of the historic district. It was a nice stay, the breakfast was prepared to order and include fruit, eggs, and toasted bread. I agree with other reviews that the hotel is located on a busy street however it does calm down late in the evening and was totally peaceful in the morning. The room was clean and had all the needed amenities.

The staff was great and very attentive. The hotel appears to have been renovated recently. There are however several areas incomplete that jumps out at you. Poor painting, rough finish etc. The biggest problem was the cleanliness. Sheets were stained,( had ask for new ones ) white towels beige and hair on the bathroom floor. The tiles used in the bathroom look dirty with each step . We ran out of tissue( a fresh roll wasnt there and it was a used roll on the holder. Some plugs didnt work and no iron. Breakfast however was good and the area nicely done. The staff were extremely helpful. This is not the place for a long vacay. It is however very convenient if sight seeing. Its literally on the sidewalk and you step out into the busy happenings in Lima. The hotel however is below acceptable.

The room was very clean and nice, the staff just out of this world, specially Ms Alessandra and Ms Fiorella at the desk,both of them are reaaly proffessional and they know a lot of information on the area where the hotel is, every thing, where are the pharmacies, the optical shops, groceries, markets, everything, they both are very sweet and friendly. The staff working at the dinning area is very nice too.

Room small but cozy and comfortable. Due to location on major bus route, we were pleasantly surprised not noisy at night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Included a free bottle of local wine - very sweet, more like an juice. Joined a volunteer guided walking tour (gave tips after 2.5 hour tour). Close-by Chinatown was all local Peruvians, did not see any Asians, unless looking in mirror. Was advised by tour guide and others not to go to area south of Chinatown, but walked through the packed (with street vendors and pedestrians) area safely.

The hotel is well located — definitely its main advantage. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was quite disappointing. The room was far too small for two people. We booked for a couple, but the bed was barely big enough for one person — it was impossible to sleep comfortably together. The space in the room was extremely limited. On top of that, the soundproofing was almost nonexistent. There was constant noise, including car horns all night long, and the hotel itself felt quite chaotic. It was very hard to get any rest. Unfortunately, the night was rough — I had a really hard time sleeping due to the excessive noise. It was honestly unbearable. Breakfast was also very basic, with very few options — close to nothing, really. The only true positives were the location and the friendliness of the front desk staff, who were genuinely kind and welcoming. Overall, I would only recommend this hotel for a one-night emergency stay if no other options are available.

I’m not pleased with the way things are handled at this hotel. We had 2 beds which sleeps 4 but I had to pay for a 3rd person? I travel all around the world and never had to pay per person at a hotel.. you reserved the room for up to 4 people. I’m unhappy with this and also unhappy with the way the staff handled it. Also not allowing guess is also unfortunate. I will never come here again.

We wanted to see Lima which is a very big and important city, and Hotel Diamond was ideal. We arrived quite late at night, so we had our first dinner in Peru at the airport, but the hotel transfer driver waited for us and took us to the hotel very smoothly. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. The area is great to explore the main squares and museums and shopping malls. There are lots of very very good restaurants and bars around. Chinatown is in walking distance, which is an experience in itself. Peruvian people do dance in the streets! The buskers in the streets are some of the most talented performers we have ever seen. We were very impressed with this hotel and with Lima

Good option in the center of Lima, the guys at the reception helped a lot (Iberia lost our luggage and they were speaking with the airport for them to arrive), and the room was good. Also great value for money.

the hotel was excellent include almost items, location, room cleaning, breakfast, check in staff, convenience and so on. however one things break my mind was, I was asking the girl who working in the frond desk for a taxi service on next day morning to airport. the girl gave me a price 20 sol and told me they will accept sol only. I went out and exchange 40 sol on the day evening to prepare the taxi payment on next morning. When I check out next morning, the man at around 50 years old in the front desk take me to the garage on the first floor - a car parking there. He told me that is my taxi. the car drove us to the airport. I paid for $20 sol plus 3 sol tips to the driver. but the car driver wont let me go. he ask for $20US dollars or 80 sol. that was really bad feeling I experienced in Lima Peru. after I argue and show him my only 40 sol. the driver robbed my sol from my hand total 33 sol and left while saying bad words. that was not a good experience in my life, and either Hotel Diamond Lima. I think so. by the way, from location, price, breakfast, room cleaning, check in/out, facilities, convenience, the hotel diamond Lima are perfect. but if you ask me will recommend to friend, absolutely No.

Everything was great with the property except the service at breakfast. We were there for 4 days. The first day the service was awful, very slow, and hardly any utensils. I had to butter my toast with a spoon. The second day it was a little bit better, but we didn't get butter and jam. The last two days were about the same. Slow and no butter and jam.

The ONLY complaint I have is noise. The staff were so inviting and the hotel very comfortable. It was centrally located to many historical places and is safe ( just have common sense ). It was very easy to navigate with uber. The traffic is INSANE!

Very central location and public transportation at front, very convenient. Negative is that traffic noise is non- stop even past midnight. Street beggars play loud music, etc. Buses and car fumes come into the room and the walls are thin. Clean and good staff except that at nights, front office was vacant, locking you out. Good English speaking staff and good breakfast

The hotel is well located — definitely its main advantage. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was quite disappointing. The room was far too small for two people. We booked for a couple, but the bed was barely big enough for one person — it was impossible to sleep comfortably together. The space in the room was extremely limited. On top of that, the soundproofing was almost nonexistent. There was constant noise, including car horns all night long, and the hotel itself felt quite chaotic. It was very hard to get any rest. Unfortunately, the night was rough — I had a really hard time sleeping due to the excessive noise. It was honestly unbearable. Breakfast was also very basic, with very few options — close to nothing, really. The only true positives were the location and the friendliness of the front desk staff, who were genuinely kind and welcoming. Overall, I would only recommend this hotel for a one-night emergency stay if no other options are available.

The hotel is well located in the old part of the historic district. It was a nice stay, the breakfast was prepared to order and include fruit, eggs, and toasted bread. I agree with other reviews that the hotel is located on a busy street however it does calm down late in the evening and was totally peaceful in the morning. The room was clean and had all the needed amenities.

It was a very nice room, very large, and the bathroom was huge. Lots of hot water, near transit and walking distance to the main downtown squares. There are plenty of taxis, but you need to purchase a card for the bus rapid transit with exact change from machines. The machines do not take credit cards. Breakfast on the 4th floor was good and fast.
