Run down hotel elevator not working

The gym was well equipped. Easy parking abd very close to many places. Staff was really helpful.

Only things i didn't like was the pool had no where to sit in shade was 95 degrees no umbrellas you in full sun impossible to sit by the pool .secondly no bar or anything to get a cold drink beer or even a coke

It's a nice hotel, provides free water, coffee, wifi, pool towels, and a computer to use. But only one computer is available. A blow dryer was in my bathroom for us. A microwave in the lobby. Not in the room. I stayed two nights, and the ice machine was never filled with ice. Hopes this changes..disappointed. The rules for smoking are very strict. No smoking within 50 feet of the hotel, or you get charged a $250 fine. No eating, drinking, or smoking in the pool area. No life guards at the pool area. Water goes from 3ft>5ft. Very little lounge chairs. I went Monday morning to the front desk from 7:00am-9:00 am waiting and waiting for customer service, no front desk assistance, no room service, no housekeeping, breakfast is a charge. I went out early for breakfast, and bo breakfast was put out today. Housekeeping comes around 10:00 am and sees the front desk there sometimes after 9am-10am. Disappointing.. This hotel has no security guards at all, which is a negative to me. The room and hotel are clean, but we definitely need a deep cleaning done correctly! It's cleaned half ass. Especially the carpet in my bedroom was extremely dirty, when I walked around my room bare footed.. my feet collected dirt and became black. I'm very disappointed in the carpet cleaning here. The TV is an old flat screen. I hope you update this also. There is no room phone to call the front desk, not that there is anyone available in the night time anyways.. smh. Staff friendly and informative about surroung area!!! Pool was clean and perfect temp!! And open later then normal!!!! Had a great stay will stay again if in orlando

The hotel had no hot water when we checked in and didn’t bother to tell us!We were in an older room and see some mold on the ceiling. Pool looked clean. No ice on the bottom floor.

Great room, service. Free coffee in the lobby from very early on - decent gym, upto 50lb dumbells - overall would recommend.

The room was very clean. But I love to take hot showers and the water pressure was horrible. And it was no working ice machine on our floor. The breakfast was not good at all had to pay 4.99 for it.

There was bed bugs

It was ok, but will not return. The first night, we saw roaches in the hall. The bathroom had the light flickering all the time and the wallpaper from the bathroom had parts hanging with mold on them. The shower didn't close well, it was always dripping water on top of the lower water faucet and had the continuos sound that bothered all night. In the second day, they did the room but didn't left any towels and we has to go all the way to front desk since the room didn't had a desk phone. On the morning before the day we were checking out, while we were preparing for the parks, the housekeeping lady knock and inmediately opened the door without giving chance to answer and my partner was in underwear, thank God we had the metal lock on the door. She didn't apologized and said we were checking out when we still had a day left. Then asked if we were smoking since there was an odor. My partner said no and that we didn't want service that day and DND sign was not in the room. When we came back, they indeed came in the room and dropped some towels. Bathroom didn't had hair dryer either. A good thing will be that beds were comfortable and sheets appeared clean. But other than that, will not recommend.

I am not a Karen but there was roaches and spiders in our room I tried calling and having our room switched but did not receive an answer did not have a good stay would prefer not to leave a bad review but I’m not impressed did not have a great time at all!

We only paid $35 for the night and we could not have asked for anything better. I’ve stayed at much worse places for much more money. The overnight front desk reception was so helpful and friendly. The room seems updated and clean.

We stayed at this property for one night and it was a horrible experience. The pictures are very deceiving. The hotel had no water for us to purchase or fill our bottles (what the front desk agent told us). Our room smelled of weed. The corners were full of cobwebs, the radiator was filthy. The shower was covered in brown spots and the sheets had stains on them. The carpet clearly had dirt on it, our socks were brown from walking on the carpet. It was a very poor experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

We never saw the housekeeping service in 3 days

I don’t like the service. They don’t even change our towels in our entire stayed. From the beginning of our stay we don’t have a wifi or internet connection. It’s a very upsetting experience. Also, they don’t even clean up our rooms.

It was clean and quiet at night enjoyed my stay

As most other reviews say, this place is very outdated. “Baby” at the front desk was very friendly and helping, but our room unfortunately smelled like a mix of mold, dirt, and chemicals all mixed together. A very overly sensation of bleach. It just seemed very dirty, so we decided to forfeit our non refundable deposit and leave.

Three times I asked for my room to be cleaned and they did not

This place is what I would expect for the price. I didn’t pay a lot and didn’t get that in kind. The TV didn’t work. The hair dryer, while nice, blew nothing but cold air. The carpet in the room is coming up in places. I only paid $80 for the night and it wasn’t in the crackhead haven part of town so there’s that. I was there just to sleep for 1 night only and I could deal with all of that for the price. If you are looking for a cheap room with low expectations, then this place is for you.

I love the location…near Florida Mall. However, I didn’t like not having an iron, a clock, a phone nor microwave in the room.

WiFi was not working during my entire stay. Front desk staff did not seem to care about my concerns. They just shrugged their shoulders and said, "Not under our control" You advertise this as a benefit to staying at your property. As a business man I do not appreciate that level of incompetence and lack of concern

The hotel is great, but only difference is that they don't have microwave in the rooms. Only one microwave for the entire rooms, which is not convenient.

It was pretty noisy from people walking in the hall ways the key card would give us trouble opening the door. The bed was ok but customer service was great.

Below average customer service which made me regret choosing this place from the first interaction... common courtesy would suggest a front desk attendent to at minimum use the words please and thank you. ... outdated rooms stripped of all amenities including even a coffee maker or phone... mold in the caulking of the shower... the a/c unit was so loud I had to sleep with my earbuds in. This was not a place worthy of an above 7 rating and that is why I chose the place and why I am leaving this review.

Staff is always very helpful and nice. I stay there on the orange Blossom Trail location very often and I have never had a bad incident with staff. They have always been very cordial and helpful. The pillows are very soft however there was no Wi-Fi but I remember when Wi-Fi didn’t exist so I’m OK with it.

It was a very nice room. Lots of space inside the room, bed was very comfortable, shower was very good pressure. Room had a pool view.

Terrible experience, BE ADVISED you might not get the room you booked. We arrived at the hotel after the night flight hoping to get some rest to start our vacations to hear that our booking of a room with 2 queen beds was not possible and they only had 1 room with a King bed for me, my wife and our 2 kids sleep. And the worst thing is that Hotels.com doesn't care at all about it and only offers a $25 coupon as an apology for the issue. Besides that the room smells bad and the bathroom did not have hot water.

I really enjoyed staying at the Orlando Palms Hotel. Everyone was very welcoming and kind especially Baby! Anything that I needed they were always there to help. My family and I will definitely come back to the hotel next time.

The management at the front desk was rude and disrespectful

There was no working hot water at the hotel and the desk clerk KNEW the room she was checking us into had no hot water running to it. She felt no obligation to find a solution that night, could not give us a room with hot water and could not refund the room so we could go elsewhere. We were also put off by the obvious prostitution occurring in the hotel and the area, but would’ve gladly minded our business if there had just been hot water. Where is the refund we were promised???

We checked in late on a Friday night close to midnight took showers and slept on hard beds. We had no hot water on Saturday so they let us take showers in a separate room and guaranteed us it would be fixed the next day. It wasn't or the day after so we checked out and they refused to refund us for the days we didn't stay. Monday night through Friday night. House keeping never came either which would have sucked if we had hot water to take showers with. I talked to three different parties with no hot water as well. I have called twice since I left to try and get at least a partial refund once I was told the manager was busy and the other time the manager hung up on me. I was told when I checked out that I had to E-mail management for a refund and did so twice with no response. It's been a week.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights, for a short family getaway. Previous reviews were very good so I chose to make reservations. We arrived on a Friday morning about midnight, tired from our flight to find out they over booked and did not have a room with double beds as I had reserved (and paid for). The desk attendant did apologize and offered 2 rooms for the night, but mentioned she had to call a manager, who based on the attendants responses, was not happy about her offering us 2 rooms. After some time we were offered the 2 rooms only for one night then would have to pack all our things to move rooms for the next 2 nights, which was inconvenient considering we had early plans the next morning. We were already exhausted at this point and just wanted to rest so we took the 2 rooms for the night. We get in the rooms to finally settle in for the night to find out there is no hot water. At this point I am extremely annoyed and already made the decision to check out the next day. I did prepay for 3 nights but peace of mind and comfort is priceless so I checked out the next morning. I will be reaching out for some sort of refund.

They dd not offer a free breakfast, though they tried selling us on a $8.99 breakfast with almost no selection. 5 Green Bananas, 7 very small apples, No Cereal, dried bagels, No eggs, No meats, No Yogart. Pathetic.

The check in was somewhat smooth. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and shower had good water pressure. Only downfalls were parking was sometimes an issue (not bad though) and you had to pay extra for the breakfast. But I knew that upfront. Have stayed here a couple times and have always enjoyed my stay.

No Breakfast. Big Dinnind area just no breakfast. I woke up to people eating breakfast an walk into the room where breakfast would be. An thought i was late to eat. But the Front desk lady said they were working on it. But besides that clean,nice,quiet and very nice.

Good place to stay the night during a long flight, clean, cheap and great service. The only thing is that there’s no breakfast service. You get coffee though.

They didn’t always have clean towels for us. It was not clearly posted that the breakfast was not free. I also had to unclog my own toilet. Overall for a cheap hotel it was ok but not one I would return to. On the positive the location was great and parking was free
