Stayed 2 nights

This was a bit of a strange place. Not maintained, very old, lots of things didnt work. Shower sprays in all different directions, fountain and spa are out of order, some lights didnt have light bulbs or didnt work and the furniture was out dated and the kitchen was awkward and hard to use. Overall, it was ok but I wouldnt return.

Stayed 3 nights

We (a group of 10) stayed 3 nights. When we booked the accomodation back last year there was only 1 review of 5 stars on Stayz so our expectations were high, especially for the price. Prior to our trip, subsequent reviews (on other sites) were posted which lowered our expectations somewhat. Overall, we agreed with the most recent reviewers that the house is very clean and Kerry the caretaker communicated well. The size of the house is large and spacious. The negatives are quite extensive including * No Freezer in the kitchen, there is a freezer in one of the bedrooms that can be used. * 1 of the 2 dishwashers is not working. * The grounds are unkept and look nothing like the photos on website. What was once a fountain is now green mould. The roses were beautiful, however, the ground around the rose garden untidy and overgrown. * The furniture is outdated and there is not enough furniture in the TV/media room to accomodate the number of guests that we were charged for. * Outdoor furniture is worn and uncomfortable * General maintenance required - sliding doors do not open and close easily. Some of the decking has screws showing, could be dangerous. * Spa is out of order. Not sure you would want to use this anyway as the area around the spa is tired and dated. * It is good to see the dead fish (from another review) had been removed, however, the tank is dirty and fish were caught in the filter area that we couldnt fix. This place good be spectacular but its not.

Stayed 2 nights

This was a great property, very well appointed and huge. Beautiful and quite location away from hustle and bustle but more than 15 tourist attractions within short distance. Excellent communication from owner and caretaker. We hope to return again.
